Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me

Chapter 508: Leaving The Mountain Range

The explosion roared like the scream of a living earth, echoing through the entire mountain range.

From the heart of the main peak, a blinding crimson light erupted, and a wave of burning energy shook the mountains from their roots.

The ground split apart. Massive rocks were thrown into the air. Boiling blood burst out from the walls and splashed into the sky like red rain.

Even from several kilometers away, Daniel could feel the shockwave. The explosion was enormous, spreading across a huge area.

The smaller peaks burst one after another, streams of blood evaporated, and fire spread over everything.

Amid the chaos, Drael let out a weak sigh with a tired smile. He had tried to retreat in time, but it was useless.

In the worst case, he would just have to endure some pain. He was sure he wouldn't die.

The shockwave reached him, throwing his body across the air. He slammed into a cliff, his shoulder cracked, and blood ran down his lips.

But he survived, just as he expected. Moments later, his eyes closed, and he passed out.

With the destruction of the main vein, the blood flow stopped. The glowing arteries on the rocks dried up and crumbled apart.

And with the source gone, all the blood-born monsters across the mountains screamed in pain and terror, as if their very souls were being ripped out.

Their skin withered, their energy collapsed, and the light in their eyes vanished.

Their life force dropped drastically, but fortunately, they didn't die. They were still alive, barely.

Daniel slammed his sword into the ground, glanced indifferently at the monsters before him, and with a simple swing, cut them down.

After a moment of thought, he activated Everlasting Physique. His body turned into a devouring black hole, consuming all the monsters before him.

There were hundreds of them, most in high A-rank. Even though they looked like insects in front of Daniel, they were terrifyingly powerful creatures.

The notifications appeared one after another, and he felt a massive surge of strength flow through his body.

He then turned and walked toward the spot where that boy had fallen unconscious. When he reached Drael, he was lying on the ground, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth.

Daniel knelt beside him, placed a hand on his chest, and activated Mana Healing.

A white light flowed from his fingertips, and Drael's wounds began to close right before his eyes.

Daniel stood up and looked around.

"Take him out of here and leave the mountain range," he ordered the nearby Fallen in a calm, cold tone.

The range was now in a highly unstable state. The blood streams were gone, and it seemed like the remaining monsters below had gone completely mad.

The Fallen immediately obeyed, lifting Drael in their dark arms and swiftly flying away from the place.

Daniel stood still, watching until they disappeared from sight, then turned and began walking down the peak.

At the foot of the mountain, the rest of his Fallen were still fighting the remaining monsters.

"That's enough. Return," Daniel said quietly, raising his hand and making a small motion with his finger.

Instantly, the Fallen vanished in waves of dark smoke.

Now, only he remained, surrounded by hordes of half-dead monsters sliding down the mountain slopes. He checked his remaining mana, and what he saw made him frown.

It wasn't good. Only about ten percent of his mana remained. But that wasn't really a problem. He would soon refill his core.

He raised his right hand. The mana around him trembled, shone, and in the next second, thousands of blades made of pure energy formed in the air, silver blades streaked with black lines, each the size of a heavy spear.

The countless blades spun silently in the air. Death energy burned along their edges, and with a small gesture, Daniel released them.

The sky split open. A rain of swords fell.

The blades struck the monsters with unimaginable speed. Each impact exploded in a burst of blackness and blood. The monsters screamed as their flesh melted, their bones shattered, and their energy turned to dust.

The ground was drenched in blood, but instead of boiling, it went cold and stopped moving.

Each sword, after killing its target, turned into dust and scattered with the wind.

At last, silence. Nothing remained except Daniel's quiet breathing. He looked over the field of corpses, scanning their ranks.

A considerable number were A-rank, some mid-A-rank, and a few at peak A-rank. Most were B-rank, though.

First, he activated Everlasting Physique again and devoured half of the remaining corpses completely.

Once again, he felt a new flow of strength surging through his body. He ignored it and looked at the rest of the dead monsters.

Soon after, lights appeared from the sky, forming his new Fallen.

By absorbing ten percent of their stats, he felt his mana core fill up again, and a small smile appeared on his face.

His power had once again surpassed its previous limits. In fact, one of the main reasons he hadn't chosen to escape from this mountain range until now was exactly because of this.

The lack of mana and being surrounded by monsters were indeed problems, but in the end, there were still ways to escape—especially if he used the help of the Fallen.

But this mountain range was practically a paradise for him. Not only did it hold an infinite amount of Exp, but he could also devour as many monsters as he wanted or turn them into Fallen.

And now, not only had he gained hundreds of new Fallen, but he had also devoured hundreds of monsters and reached Mid-Rank A

He turned, gave one last glance at the mountain range, and left the place.

What he didn't know was that deep beneath those mountains, the destroyed heart had awakened someone , an indescribable being

that had just become aware of his existence.
