SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 663: Let’s end this shall we?

Meanwhile, the entire Nine Rivers City was going crazy. Ten minutes was a short amount of time, and they were surprised, but they were also somewhat prepared to go to war. All the NPC armies in the light faction cities were currently in war mode, so at least they were able to bring out the full potential.

But no one had expected the war to take such a drastic turn. Among all the strategies one could use, this one seemed the most ridiculous and impossible, and yet one bloodsucker was single-handedly ruining their city.

There was no one who could do anything about it. The entire war was already completely out of their hands. They were now merely waiting for their deaths by standing in the city. A poison master strong enough to withstand and block whatever attack was thrown at him was a walking disaster. Their city was not equipped to handle him.

Titanfall's frontline commander slammed the table so hard it cracked. "We brought ten thousand players for this event! And we are getting wiped by one guy who isn't even trying!!!"

Someone else shouted, voice breaking. The man was clearly on the verge of tears. "Why is a vampire using ten different poisons?! Poison isn't even their primary element!!! Is that guy some sort of dual class? What the fuck?"

Eternal Sovereignty's guild master, normally composed, stared blankly at the city map as red zones spread like a plague. "Is he… is he farming us? Is this just… EXP to him?"

In this kind of atmosphere, suddenly someone reminded the main big shots. "Sir, the Blood Domain guild is still waging a war on the north front. What should we do about them?"

All the main elders of the top guilds immediately turned to look at the man. Their eyes were burning with battle lust and a murderous aura. They might very well be losing this battle, but they refused to go down without a fight.

If they couldn't fight against Blood God, then they would rape and slaughter Blood Domain, a fucking joke for a guild!

All the players and the remaining NPCs turned their attention to the northern gate. Everyone marched there at their top speed, prepared to fully go all out and somehow quench their anger and frustrations at the injustice that was happening to them.

However, right at this moment, all of a sudden, something happened. A huge ball of ominous energy approached the group out of nowhere. At first, it looked like dark energy or shadow energy. Many guild members and NPC tanks threw out shields to block the attack.

Something like this was definitely not a big deal. But the next moment, their expressions changed. Their simple barriers could not stop the complex ball of energy. The single attack became unruly and chaotic, and was acting unexpectedly as it smashed right through the barriers and landed smack dab in the middle of the guild army. A dozen players died instantly.

Everyone was dumbfounded. They looked around, wondering if Blood God had found them again, but there was no one in the vicinity. There was not a single player or NPC, or anyone around them.

Continued to be shocked and bewildered, the army once again marched with gusto. A minute later, yet another black sphere magically showed up. This time as well a group of players fell for the attack.

All of them were already somewhat affected by the poison miasma in the city, one way or the other. On top of everything, this mysterious attack was simply too much to handle. By the time the guild army reached the northern gates, about fifty players had already died.

Not that the situation actually improved when they arrived there.

The northern gate, once a structured siege front, had devolved into something far more chaotic. It wasn't a battlefield anymore. It was a frenzied storm of spells, screams, and shattered formations.

The Blood Domain recruits, who moments ago had been a group of terrified newbies fleeing poison clouds, were now fighting like rabid beasts unleashed from a cage. Their eyes were red, their movements feral, and their morale strangely sky-high.

"PUSH THEM BACK!!"

"FOR AURORA!!"

"FOR KATE!!"

The top guilds, who expected to see a bunch of disorganized amateurs, were stunned. And most importantly… why the hell were they winning? Eternal Sovereignty's guild master paled. They were getting slaughtered from all sides. What kind of a bullshit war was this?

"Don't worry. Now that we are here, we can change the tide of the battle. We can definitely do something." Before the guy could finish talking, he suddenly heard an odd meowing sound. Hmmm? The guy turned to look. He felt that it was weird.

The next second, a black ball of chaotic energy appeared right in front of his face. "Fuuuuccckkkk." The poor guy did not even have time to understand what happened before him, and the few others around him were blasted into shreds.

Just as the army recovered from this shock, another figure appeared in front of them. The sky turned crimson, and blood rained down. Blood God stood atop a swirling crimson vortex.

The guild army froze. Instantly.

Someone whimpered, "We're… we're dead."

Someone else whispered, "Why does he look stronger than before?! He was fighting nonstop for ten minutes straight!"

A third voice cracked in terror. "He… he's glowing. Why is he glowing? Why is he glowing?!"

Damon wasn't glowing. He was overflowing with energy and power. He did not figure out shit in the last few minutes, but he did manage to break through one other meridian, which kicked up his power level another notch.

He looked down at the gathered guild elites like a man surveying weeds in an untended garden. Then he smiled. A slow, lazy, terrifying smile. "Don't you guys think that this war has gone on long enough? Let's end this, shall we?"

Behind Damon, Aurora landed with a delighted twirl, wings fluttering as she beamed. "Hubbyyyy! You're here! We were just about to start round two!" Damon gave her a nod.

Kate arrived an instant later, looking pale and tired.

Damon lovingly looked at her. "You are pushing yourself too hard. You shouldn't have come here."

At the same time, a terrifying blood storm kicked up in the vicinity. All sorts of weapons made of blood materialized in the storm, and each one shot forward with a horrific speed, landing on its target perfectly. The entire area descended into utter and complete madness and chaos.
