SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 665: Evacuate! Evacuate!

Damon teleported to Skyfall City without wasting a second. The city stretched beneath him like a masterpiece, crystalline towers catching the fading sunlight, shimmering walkways suspended between spires, rivers of blue mana flowing through the streets like veins of light. It was serene, radiant, majestic.

"Perfect. Let's ruin it." Damon smiled lazily from atop the floating spire he had just landed on. He flicked his wrist.

A wave of poisonous miasma surged outward instantly, rolling across the nearest district like a silent tsunami of death. The streets below dissolved into chaos. NPC guards collapsed mid-sprint, choking on air, their health bars vaporizing before they even processed the danger.

Damon tapped his chin thoughtfully. Good. The element of surprise was intact. He wanted to test something. Could he truly declare war on a city whenever he wanted, without advance notice, without the traditional preparations, without an entire guild?

The answer?

The system didn't give a single fuck.

Just like in reality, if he stepped into a city and decided to massacre its entire population, the system simply shrugged, logged the kills, and let him continue.

And he took full advantage.

A blood storm spiraled outward from him, reaping lives with every pulse. NPC merchants dropped where they stood, adventurers froze mid-quest, and casual players screamed as the kill feed exploded with Damon's name.

No alarms had been raised. No commanders were summoned. No one expected an attack, much less an attack like this.

After all, who in their right mind would walk into one of the wealthiest, more fortified cities in the Light Faction… alone… without preparation… and just start murdering everyone?

Damon drifted downwards, trailing venomous smoke behind him like a falling star. A group of players dining at an outdoor café stared up in confusion.

"Hey, is that…"

"Wait… why is the sky turning red?"

"Bro… BRO! THAT'S BLOOD GO-"

They didn't finish their sentence. A crimson shockwave erased them. More notifications appeared as more blood essence happily flowed into Damon.

[Ding! You have slain Players x12.]

Not a single attack came his way. Not a formation was activated. Not a city-wide warning sounded. He was a lone hostile entity walking into a city and treating it like a training ground.

Damon smirked. "That's why surprise is the best weapon."

He raised his hand casually, and dozens of blood tendrils erupted from the ground, dragging screaming players into the air like captured prey. They dissolved into essence within seconds, which he was more than happy to use for training purposes.

Thanks to the sheer volume of blood essence all around him, he was making a lot of progress in both his blood manipulation skills and his poison research. It looked like war was the best training montage for him. It was literally tailor-made for him.

He landed lightly on a marble walkway as terrified NPCs scrambled away. He lifted his hand. Venomous lotus petals formed around him, swirling into a blooming ring of death. "Let's get started," he whispered, stepping forward as another wave of screams erupted behind him.

And finally, sirens wailed throughout the city. Barriers flickered awake across rooftops, magic circles flared at dormant guard posts, and the city's automated defenses finally lurched into motion.

Damon rolled his shoulders. "About damn time."

A formation of elite NPC knights burst onto the main causeway, their armor shining with holy enchantments. The moment they spotted him atop the marble walkway, their captain roared:

"Enemy sighted! all units, advance!"

They didn't finish. A single wave of Damon's hand sent a burst of poisonous miasma forward. Lotus buds all around him bloomed and exploded on everyone's faces. There was poison everywhere. Blood tendrils appeared to finish the task and in the matter of seconds, all the units were wiped out.

Damon inhaled, savoring the shifting textures of energy inside him. His avatars were hard at work analyzing the poison all around him while he himself focused on the blood manipulation skill. He still had to put in some time for the poison analysis, but he was pushing his mental strength and doing it all.

Then all of a sudden, a massive mana cannon unfolded from a tower ahead, glowing blinding white. Its barrel locked onto him. Damon's eyes lit up. "Oho? Now we're talking."

The cannon fired. A sun-bright beam roared down the street at him, burning reality in its path. Buildings shattered. The air screamed. Players watching from afar shouted in excitement.

"That's it! We got him!"

"No way he survives this!"

"Blood god is finally-"

The beam tore through the walkway, through the air, through everything, and revealed Damon standing there. He calmly erected a blood barrier, one that was fortified by shadow, ice, and earth.

The barrier and the beam shattered and exploded together, creating a massive shockwave. Damon was completely unaffected by it, but the players who commented before were swiftly wiped away.

Before the cannon could recharge, a tendril of blood shot up the tower, slicing it cleanly in half. The structure groaned, split, and toppled into the street.

[Ding! You have destroyed: Skyfall City Defense Tower]

All across the city, players began screaming in area chat, unable to stomach what just happened.

What level is he?!?!?!

How did one barrier block a city's weapon?

Who let this man exist?

Skyfall is screwed! Evac! Evac!!

A squad of high-ranked player elites teleported in next, landing in a perfect formation.

"Blood God!" their leader shouted. "You are surrounded! Surrender or -"

Poisonous miasma surged forward, and at the same time, shadow claws erupted from beneath them, shredding their bodies before the sentence could finish.

[Ding! You have slain Players x19.]

Pieces of armor rained down like confetti which his shadow clones and shadow beasts meticulously picked up and brought over.

Damon dusted his hands. "Surround me more. I dare you. It only makes my life easier."

The poisonous miasma thickened, spreading outward block by block. Skyfall City, once serene and radiant, was now a dying jewel under a blood-soaked sunset.
