SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 668: Blood Domain Rises

Before ManaDaddy999 could respond, or even process what was happening, a burst of poisonous miasma detonated outward like a blooming flower of death.

And blood tendrils erupted from the cobblestone beneath him, long, elegant, and impossibly fast like hungry serpents lunging for prey.

"Wha… W-WAIT!" ManaDaddy999 squeaked. He didn't get to finish.

The tendrils wrapped around him and his friends in a heartbeat, lifting them into the air like dolls caught in a hurricane. Gasps turned to chokes. Chokes turned to silence.

Players around them screamed and scattered. Some tripped over each other. Some jumped off the wall. Some simply froze, too slow, too shocked, and too stupid to move.

[Ding! You have slain Players x37]

Soon, Thunder City finally realized what had arrived. Alarm bells wailed throughout the city. NPC troops rallied in panic. Players sprinted for their lives. World Chat exploded into a meltdown of biblical proportions.

Damon rose slowly into the air, wings unfurling behind him in a massive, blood-soaked arc. His presence alone silenced an entire district. A wave of poisonous miasma spiraled outward from him, shimmering, beautiful, and deadly.

And then Thunder City fell.

A once-thriving metropolis was now nothing but a poisoned grave, claimed effortlessly by a single man who treated its destruction as casually as breathing.

The world once again erupted into chaos. At the same time, Blood Domain guild members cheered triumphantly. The whole guild was celebrating in a rowdy fashion, like lunatics who had just won the lottery, ascended to immortality, and gotten free premium mounts, all at the same time.

Some players jumped off rooftops and landed in victory poses. Others spammed emotes until the server lagged.

Those who quit the guild before the siege started wanted to curl up and die. They had all missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It looked like if they quit the guild once, they would be unable to join the guild again as regular members.

If someone still really wanted a second chance and to join the guild again, then they would have to join as contract workers for extremely low pay. Only after they earned enough reputation by slaving away for days and weeks would they meet the requirements to be promoted to regular members.

On the other hand, those who did not quit after being asked to participate in a siege with no chance of victory were giddy with joy. They had all earned a shit ton of reputation points, especially those who actually fought and killed other players.

There were also a lot of points rewarded by the guild for random things like sharing quest details related to the main storyline, depositing precious materials to guild vaults, and so on and so forth. If one became a vampire, even more reputation points were awarded.

Not even a single day has passed since Blood Domain was officially created and established, but the guild's popularity had already skyrocketed. Members were multiplying like rabbits on a berserk potion, flooding into the guild application page so fast that Kate's head was spinning.

People were losing their minds. Those who stayed in Blood Domain were acting like they had just secured generational wealth. Those who left were crying into their pillows. Those who never joined were screaming into the void, desperately trying to understand how a meme-tier guild had become the single most powerful guild in the entire continent overnight.

The hype, the chaos, the madness, the guild exploded. The Guild chat was a warzone of joy.

"Blood domain riseeeeees! We own four cities!!! Four!! Cities!!"

"I swear I only joined because of Goddess Aurora but its the best decision I ever made!"

"Bro, my friends are begging for invites!"

Meanwhile, outside the guild halls, the rest of the world trembled.

Light Faction cities scrambled. Dark Faction cities celebrated. And neutral players tried to migrate out of Light territory so fast that the teleporter crystals overheated.

"Blood Domain owns four cities, wtf!"

"I sneezed, and another announcement popped up!"

"I want to join Blood Domain. Please, someone, adopt me!"

"Is there a refugee camp for Light Faction players?"

Guild headquarters across the Light Faction were in full panic mode. Emergency meetings were held. Strategies were rewritten. Players were quitting left and right and joining the dark faction. And in the midst of all of this…

Blood Domain members were basking in fame, wealth, and more free loot than they knew what to do with. Players who earned reputation were already getting early access to city housing, reduced taxes, special vampire quests, blood Domain-exclusive store items, and even temporary buffs from living in their own territory.

Meanwhile, those who quit earlier were suffering the worst psychological damage Earth Online had ever inflicted. Watching their ex-guild skyrocket into legendary status within less than 24 hours was mental torture.

In the midst of this pandemonium, Damon tossed another bomb into the chaos. He casually disclosed the presence of the Dark Faction continent to the entire world and even revealed the gateway to the Dark Faction continent, which was in Niera City.

He had already instructed Varnyx to build something around the portal, and the whole place looked different now. It was no longer in some abandoned corner and hidden from public view. Instead, it was a bustling teleportation spot. Of course, one that collected entry fees and exit fees.
