SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 672: Somebody stop him

After Dawnspire City, it was Glory City. Then it was Radianthelm. Then Silverwood. Then Moonfall Citadel. Then Ironvale Fortress, a city so proud of its impregnable defenses that players once joked it would survive an entire dark faction assault.

City after city fell like dominoes in a blood-soaked line, each one collapsing faster than the last. By the time Damon was done, the Light Faction map, once filled with bright, cheerful cities, looked like a toddler had taken a red marker and scribbled all over haphazardly, except with poison.

The world stared in horror, watching the broadcast updates roll in like a doomsday countdown.

[Ding! Glory City has fallen to Blood Domain.]

Players screamed, guild leaders cried, top guilds spammed emergency war horns. It changed nothing.

[Ding! Radianthelm City has been annihilated.]

Radianthelm, home of the Holy Academy, birthplace of half the server's paladins, was reduced to a crater of poisoned crystal within minutes.

Clips showed Damon walking through the sacred plaza while paladin NPCs rotted and died just by being within ten meters of him.

[Ding! Silverwood Stronghold has been conquered!]

[Ding! Moonfall Citadel has entered Corrupted State.]

This one hurt. Moonfall, beloved for its beautiful night sky and iconic moonlit lake where couples took screenshots together, was now a twisted nightmare realm glowing sickly red.

One heartbroken player lamented. "My girlfriend dumped me, and the lake is destroyed. Blood God, what more do you want…"

[Ding! Ironvale Fortress has collapsed. Territory conquered.]

Ironvale lasted exactly ninety seconds. By now, panic had evolved into religious fear. Light Faction leadership was in complete shambles. Top guilds formed emergency alliances. NPC councils declared continent-wide martial law. High priests hurriedly prayed to their gods and insisted that everyone do the same.

"He's clearing cities faster than we clear level 10 dungeons. Does anyone know how many cities we even have left?! Why is he still going?? Who is letting him do this???"

The guild leaders could no longer ignore Damon's message. Many started paying up gold coins left and right. Some claimed that they would never do something so shameful, but secretly they emptied their coffers and sent it all to Blood Domain.

Whether they liked it or not, Damon's ransom message had become the gravitational center of the entire server. No matter how bravely guild leaders screamed about pride, honor, or dignity, every single one of them heard the same ticking bomb behind those words, pay up… or your city dies next.

And now that Damon had erased half a dozen cities in the span of a few hours, even the densest guild leader on the continent understood one thing clearly. It wasn't a bluff. It was a countdown.

"We! Will! Never! Kneel! Before that bastard!" one guild master roared during an emergency meeting. Ten minutes later… He was quietly sending 480 million gold to Blood Domain, sweating like he was committing high treason.

Another guild master shouted, "My dignity is priceless!" That same man, moments later, was frantically messaging Damon, hoping that he would see his message. "Hi, yes, I would like to transfer 200M. The guild name is Batallion, and our base is in Hope City."

Others tried to pretend they didn't care. "Hah! Who cares if Blood God comes to our city?! We'll fight!" Three minutes later… Guild Notice: All raid funds have been liquidated. Please stop asking where the treasury went.

Another guild forged fake logs claiming "a hacker broke into our vault" to hide the fact that they themselves had emptied it to pay Damon.

The funniest part? Damon wasn't even checking who paid. He wasn't tracking the senders. He wasn't ranking them. He wasn't judging them. In fact, after sending that single message, he did not even care to look at the world chat. He was just minding his own business and doing his own thing.

However, the top guilds couldn't behave so nonchalantly. Damon's few words carried an enormous weight to them, and they were throwing gold at his guild like they were paying tribute to a dragon in a cave, and Damon simply let the numbers roll in.

The Blood Domain treasury began to swell at a rate so ridiculous that guild members started thinking the number was bugged.

"Is that… is that really… billions?"

"Bro, it's still going up. Who the hell keeps donating??"

Damon had already asked Kate to alter the settings so everyone could only look now, and no one could really touch anything. Well, to access even the first vault of the guild bank, one needed an enormous amount of reputation points.

At the same time, reputation points were being awarded for anything and everything. So the two sides were evened out.

Sylvara also joined Kate, and the two of them, together with Damon's last follower, Malia, worked overtime to maintain some form of structure in Blood Domain, which was growing by the second at an explosive rate.

At the same time, Riven, Kaelthorn, Ellora, Mallana, and Lirae busied themselves with collecting the loot and the gold from the fallen cities.

Most of the loot was already collected by the shadow beasts and Damon's shadow clones, but Damon made sure to leave the city's treasuries and auction houses only slightly damaged.

Damon opened up temporary teleportation portals using Blood Gate, and with Ellora's help to these places. The rest of the team made sure to loot and plunder every little thing, not leaving a single gold coin behind.

Everyone worked fast and moved fast. Damon had already warned them that this poison spree wouldn't last long, so everyone pitched in with all they had. Of course, there were exceptions to this.

Aurora and the little cat were once again missing, and from what Damon gathered last, one was fleeing from the other. He did not know or had the time to care right now which one was doing what. He simply let them run wild to their heart's content.

Meanwhile, he hurriedly teleported to the next unsuspecting city when suddenly a profound feeling of danger filled him, his senses screaming in alarm.
