The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 340: 340 - Iron-shelled turtle

Linyue spun elegantly in the air, her claws leaving nothing but sharp marks on the turtle's shell.

Her feet hit the damp floor of the cave without making a sound and she watched that turtle coldly, a spear appearing in her hands.

Despite not having any wounds, she was panting, her fair sun-touched skin drenched in sweat, her tits rising and falling with each breath.

The beast gradually revealed its head to Linyue, a powerful black metallic Qi surrounding its body.

Slowly, small holes appeared in its shell and it hid its head again, sharp spines emerging from these small holes.

In the next moment, the giant steel-shelled turtle released all the thorns in an explosion, each one made of powerful metallic Qi.

Linyue gritted her teeth as she dodged, her face focused on the turtle, her body twirling elegantly in the air, her feet stepping on nothing and using it as momentum to dodge the attack.

After exactly fifteen seconds the attack stopped and Linyue was finally able to let a sigh of relief escape her full rosy lips, although she still didn't let her guard down.

Her short orange hair fluttered and her beautiful green eyes sparkled as she threw her spear, aiming for the small gap where the turtle's head had disappeared and its paws had failed to protect.

The attack was accurate, drawing a big smile from Linyue.

"Gotcha, you iron-headed nyan!" She gave an excited squeal as the iron-shelled turtle showed its head again, Linyue's spear lodged exactly in its right eye.

A heart-stopping roar escaped the turtle's open jaw as it thrashed about in pain, its Qi distorting violently, sending out powerful shockwaves and making the whole cave tremble.

Linyue already had another spear in her hands, ready to strike another blow, an even more powerful one this time.

But the voluptuous cat girl stopped at the last moment, noticing the turtle stalling, its remaining eye focused on her.

Suddenly, the turtle roared, its bestial face filled with rage as it threw itself towards Linyue.

The cat-girl could only dodge, her body turning into a blur before the place where she was standing was hit by the turtle's huge body, more than thirty tons of flesh and steel hitting the walls of the cave, which shuddered, collapsing on top of the turtle.

"Nyan... is it dead? How can I show this prey if I didn't kill it?" Linyue spoke, her face filling with panic.

She had known about that turtle in her father's private hunting territory for a long time and she was sure it would be better than any other prey her opponents could even imagine.

But if the turtle had died in the collapse... how could she claim the kill?

Of course, there was nothing to stop her from simply taking the turtle one way or another, but that wasn't what she had learned from her father.

Suddenly, an explosion echoed, filling Linyue's face with relief.

The turtle was intact, the stones covering it being thrown into the sky as its huge body re-emerged from among the rubble, still as crazed as before, throwing itself at Linyue again.

The voluptuous cat-girl could only keep dodging, occasionally picking up a spear from her spatial ring and hurling it towards the turtle, which was getting more and more tired, its huge reserves of Qi soon beginning to fail.

However, the moment before Linyue struck the final blow, something changed.

The turtle's Qi suddenly exploded, changing from a silvery black to a reddish, putrid black, a horrible smell spreading throughout the cave.

At that moment, Linyue couldn't react in time, her body overcome with shock.

She threw her spear to the ground, raising her arms and forming a thick barrier of Qi between her and the steel-shelled turtle.

Yet it wasn't enough, her body being thrown backwards like a cannonball, hitting the cave walls with a thud.

She was barely able to avoid an internal injury, her eyes focusing only to find the turtle advancing towards her again, seeking to crush her against the wall.

She closed her eyes, the fur on her tail and ears standing up in terror of an impact that never came.

When she opened her eyes again, she realized something; the turtle had stopped and right between her and the turtle, there was a figure.

It was a young man of incomparable beauty, his feet sinking into the ground as his powerful arms stopped the advance of the thirty-ton beast, his long black hair fluttering with the impact.

It was Long Qingyi, the same young man who had caught her eye in the stands.

The handsome young man gritted his teeth, his muscles burning as he threw the steel-shelled turtle backwards, immediately reaching out his hand, a lance of flame appearing in his grip.

The turtle was almost flipped onto its back, landing violently a few dozen meters away from Qingyi.

Before it could even hide its head again, the lance of flame was already falling on it, hitting its open mouth and exploding.

Even though the turtle hadn't suffered much external damage, the explosion still spread to the inside of its body, tearing its innards and causing it to violently vomit blood.

Qingyi walked over to it in slow, light steps, jumping on its head and wielding the heaven-defying thunder sword.

Without hesitation, he plunged it into the turtle's head, using his lightning Qi to slowly melt the thin steel plates that protected even that place.

They were resistant, although incomparable to the armor of its shell. Fortunately, Qingyi's lightning Qi was still much stronger than enough to get through it, the heaven-defying thunder sword reaching the turtle's brain, killing its body and destroying its soul.

Sighing, Qingyi turned his face, observing the crimson-black energy leaving that turtle, smelling that terrible odor.

That Qi was strangely familiar, crimson, putrid and corrosive, something that shouldn't exist.

That was, or at least looked very much like, demonic Qi.

Naturally, such a possibility made Qingyi's blood run hot. Those bastards were even there?

Well, it was kind of obvious, the immortal heaven was much closer to the celestial heaven, where true demons dwelled.
