Reborn with Infinity Skill Points, I Enslaved All Universes

Chapter462-The Skill That Makes One Drool with Envy

[Infinity Convergence]

[Effect: Grants the user all God Rank Skill effects except for the No.1 ranked one, and allows the user to hide the release effects.]

???

Daniel froze the instant he read the description of the skill.

Wait a minute—was this [Infinity Convergence] even remotely balanced? Its effect was outrageous.

"All God Rank Skill effects except for the number one?" he murmured in disbelief.

Didn't that mean he would never again have to worry about the number of skill slots he could use?

And that wasn't even the best part. It also meant that from now on, he only needed to focus on one thing—synthesizing [Infinity Convergence]. Once he had it, there would be no need to synthesize any other God Rank Skill. Every other skill would become redundant!

But then his gaze drifted to the required materials section…

Daniel's mouth twitched violently.

Yeah, no. He had been far too optimistic.

The list of materials was absurd, completely beyond his current means.

In other words, synthesizing this thing was a dream that would remain distant—very distant.

He exhaled and forced his eyes away, scrolling through the rest of the God Rank Skill Compendium.

Everything ranked within the top 30 was utterly monstrous in its own right.

Take, for instance, [Ultimate Guardian Shield].

Its description was brutally straightforward—it allowed the user to merge with space-time itself, rendering them immune to all forms of damage.

Even if the entire time-space continuum were destroyed, the user would be reborn an instant before its collapse. As if that weren't terrifying enough, it even inflicted rule-based reflection damage to any attacker.

"With that kind of ability, even a god would have trouble killing me…" Daniel muttered, half in awe, half in despair.

Unfortunately, the synthesis materials were—again—utterly unreachable.

Then there was another ridiculous one: [Wrath of the Emperor].

Its effect? The power to erase—literally erase—any existence weaker than the user, without any resistance or defense being able to block it.

For enemies of higher level, the rule bent differently: they would be forced down by one entire rank of power when facing the skill's user, and the caster themselves would become unkillable for the duration.

A true "cheat skill" in every sense of the word.

Daniel started to notice a pattern.

Every God Rank Skill ranked within the top 30 touched on rule manipulation—the very fabric that governed reality itself.

Whether it was [Time Stream], which he already possessed, or these newer ones, they all played within that same league of law-defying power.

Of course, that also meant that their synthesis difficulty was astronomical.

Daniel had once thought that [Time Stream] was one of the absolute pinnacles among God Rank Skills.

But seeing the rest now, he realized it wasn't that simple.

Once you entered the rule-manipulating tier, comparing which was stronger or weaker became meaningless.

Still unwilling to give up, Daniel started reading through the synthesis requirements for some of these skills, just to see if there was any hope.

Take [Soul Substitution], for example—a God Rank Skill that allowed the user's soul to replace the soul of whoever killed them.

Its materials?

One thousand souls that had undergone ten reincarnations each.

One hundred god-level souls.

One hundred inner god souls.

Plus, the skill scrolls for [Psychic Perception], [Mind Control], [Soul Surge]… and several other God Rank Skills.

Daniel stared blankly at the screen.

Was this even something a human—or anything below godhood—could possibly gather?

He sighed bitterly. "Just those god souls alone… where am I supposed to get them?"

At his current level, he was still only a demigod.

He'd be lucky not to die if he even crossed paths with a single true god.

As for inner gods, he didn't even dare to imagine it.

"Forget it," he muttered, rubbing his forehead in frustration.

"These things aren't meant for mortals."

The conclusion was simple—God Rank Skills were far beyond his current reach.

The stronger the ability, the more impossibly complex its synthesis requirements became.

For now, all Daniel could do was look.

Dreaming about them was meaningless; it would only waste time.

Just as he was about to close the compendium, something else caught his eye—

a skill that wasn't ranked particularly high but had a peculiar description that immediately drew his attention.

[Infinite Possibilities]

[Effect: Upon activation, opens a gateway to the realm of Infinite Possibilities. Through it, you may gain access to Infinite Possibilities. However, this skill causes severe negative effects. Use with extreme caution.]

"Huh…"

Daniel frowned and rubbed his temples, deep in thought.

Could [Infinite Possibilities] be the key to breaking free from determinism itself?

Could this be the path toward true freedom—away from fate, prophecy, and time's constraints?

And yet… something about the description didn't sit right.

The wording was strange—"gain access to Infinite Possibilities."

Access how? Through what means?

The so-called "gateway" could lead to anything—or nothing.

And that line about negative effects?

Yeah, no need to guess.

Anything involving rules or possibility-space traversal was bound to have consequences—severe ones.

Daniel could almost guarantee that this skill was not something he could handle at his current level.

It was the kind of power one could only use after reaching a completely different tier of existence.

He sighed again. "Figures. Nothing on the top thirty list is ever simple."

And to make matters worse, these effects he was reading weren't even fully unlocked yet.

Every God Rank Skill had levels of completion—"not yet maxed out," as the compendium reminded him.

Which begged the question—

What kind of effects would emerge once these skills were maxed?

Just thinking about it made Daniel's pulse quicken.

But he quickly calmed himself down.

There was no point in fantasizing. Without the materials, without the power, all of this was just empty speculation.

He shut the compendium window and turned back to his status panel.

After his latest rank-up, not only had his overall power increased, but the damage output of all his God Rank Skills had skyrocketed as well—

by at least tenfold, in some cases even more.

Still, Daniel wasn't particularly excited about that.

What truly interested him were the utility-based God Rank Skills—the ones that affected the world in non-direct ways.

Take God of Thieves' Dagger, for example.

Its slicing capability had now reached 128x amplification.

Meaning he could now create 128 combat clones, each with tangible, physical combat strength equal to himself.

In other words—his overall combat power had literally doubled.

Then there was [United Strike].

Previously, the fusion effect required mutual consent from both parties.

Now, it no longer did—Daniel could forcibly merge another being's skill with his own.

It wasn't perfect—the replicated version only retained about 70% of the original's damage potential.

But that hardly mattered, because the real strength of [United Strike] was its fusion synergy—multiple skills stacked into one devastating, rule-fused assault.

The more he thought about it, the more versatile it seemed.

Next was [Soul Extraction].

Its old version required killing the target to capture their soul.

Now, Daniel could directly pull out a living soul and seal it separately, without killing the host.

The [Mass Resurrection] skill had also improved—it could now affect a wider range of power levels, restoring even demigod-tier entities.

Even his [Reflective Shield] had evolved—it could now withstand full-blown attacks from god-level beings.

Before, it would have shattered instantly under such power.

And then there was the [Corridor of Time]—one of his most enigmatic tools.

Previously, anything trapped inside it would remain sealed indefinitely, beyond his immediate interference.

But now, he could briefly release the imprisoned targets into the real world.

Of course, the longer they stayed released, the weaker his control became.

If he overdid it, the corridor's grip would eventually collapse, freeing them entirely.

Still… this was huge progress.

A faint, confident smile crept across Daniel's lips.

It seemed that someone—Isabella, in particular—was about to become useful again.
