"It should be a very powerful entity, but I can't be completely sure," Daniel replied.
Upon hearing Daniel's response, a helpless expression appeared on Isabella's face. "Little brother, you really don't make things easy for me!"
"Why is it that every time you get into trouble, the enemies you face are always so powerful?" she sighed. "If the enemy is a Fake God, maybe you wouldn't need my help. Even if it's a demigod, it's really not such a big deal."
Isabella expressed a high level of confidence in her own strength, but deep inside, she was also quite astonished. From the time Daniel had first approached her until now, only a day had passed. In just this short span, Daniel's strength had grown immensely. When they first met, he was too afraid to even look her in the eye, but now, not only was he able to look at her directly, he had even become immune to her charms!
The speed at which Daniel's strength was growing was terrifying. Perhaps, she thought, she should consider joining forces with him.
These thoughts rushed through her mind in an instant, and in the blink of an eye, Isabella's expression softened, and a faint smile appeared on her face.
"Come on, tell me, who did you offend this time?" she asked. "If it's a demigod, I might be able to pull some strings for you."
Isabella instinctively thought that Daniel must have offended a demigod. However, on the other side, Daniel was deep in thought. After a brief moment of contemplation, he made a decision. He decided to tell Isabella the truth.
After all, this time, the ice shard might have attracted the attention of a true god. He needed to prepare Isabella mentally. If a god-tier entity really did arrive, the first strike might very well determine life or death. Daniel hoped that Isabella would be ready, and at the very least, if they encountered a god-level opponent, she could help him escape in an instant.
As for defeating a god-tier entity, Daniel knew that even if he and Isabella worked together, it was impossible. The difference in strength was simply too great. Even if they analyzed their strengths on paper, there was no possibility of winning.
So Daniel spoke calmly, "It might be a Moon Rank or a Sun Rank."
Upon hearing these terms, Isabella froze for a moment. She had never expected Daniel to speak about creatures at such a terrifying level. Neither the Sun Rank nor the Moon Rank entities were something that had ever appeared in the world—these were legendary ranks, and such beings were the stuff of myths.
Isabella stroked her delicate chin in thought, astonished. She never expected Daniel to have encountered such a powerful monster.
"Little brother, you're talking about monsters, aren't you?" she asked, her voice soft.
Daniel nodded slightly, and then looked at Isabella with an expression of expectation.
On the other hand, Isabella's face darkened visibly. Her expression turned grim as she fixed her gaze on Daniel.
"Crossbridge, I need you to tell me seriously. What level of strength have you reached?" Isabella rarely used Daniel's name, and this was enough to show that she was very serious.
Seeing Isabella's seriousness, Daniel felt a sense of relief. However, he didn't plan on hiding anything about his strength. "Right now, I've basically reached the peak of Fake God," he said. "Against a Demigod Rank opponent, I'd be able to put up a fight. At least against an average demigod, I could go toe-to-toe with them."
Upon hearing this, Isabella's pupils widened in shock. Although she had expected Daniel's strength to have grown, hearing the actual level of his power still left her breathless.
Peak Fake God? Capable of fighting against an average demigod?
Isabella couldn't help but take a sharp breath. She knew that the gap between Fake Gods and demigods was like an insurmountable chasm, and yet, to hear Daniel speak of it as if it didn't exist was unbelievable.
Moreover… if Daniel could contend with a demigod, then the monster he had encountered was at least Moon Rank or above!
With this thought, Isabella's gaze toward Daniel became more complex. She was genuinely perplexed. Even she, with her considerable strength, felt a headache coming on when facing an opponent of such immense power.
"Crossbridge, I really don't know what to say," Isabella murmured, the shock evident in her voice. "I know you're strong, and your talent surpasses everyone's imagination. I can even understand you being able to fight above your level, but I really want to warn you—Moon Rank and Sun Rank monsters are not as simple as you think."
"Such powerful beings— even I wouldn't dare offend them lightly."
"Crossbridge, my little brother, have you thought about what you'll do if it's really a Sun Rank monster?"
"Creatures of that level are beings that even gods struggle to defeat. Do you really think that, just the two of us, you and I, would be able to take them on?"
"Also, you need to tell me how you got involved with such a powerful monster. Honestly, in my thousands of years of life, I've never encountered a creature of that tier."
If the enemy were at the Demigod Rank, Isabella wouldn't be as worried. With her own strength, even if she were at a disadvantage, there would be no real life-threatening danger.
But Isabella had never imagined that the creature Daniel needed help with wasn't just a Fake God, or even a demigod, but possibly a god-level entity!
"What do you mean... little brother, have you overestimated me?" she asked, almost incredulously. "I'm just a regular demigod, and now you want me to face a god-tier monster?"
Isabella took a deep breath, then slowly exhaled. She looked at Daniel seriously and spoke again.
"Crossbridge, if you can, would you consider temporarily avoiding such a powerful entity?"
On the other side, Daniel nodded lightly, though his expression remained grave. "If I could avoid it, I would prefer not to face a god. But there are some things beyond my control. I think you understand that, Isabella."
Hearing this, Isabella sighed again, her voice tinged with frustration.
"Little brother, this time, you really want to push me to my limits, don't you?" she said, her voice soft but still with an underlying edge. "Don't you have even a little bit of compassion? Are you really willing to throw me into such danger?"
However, despite Isabella's words, Daniel remained as cold as ice, his voice unyielding.
"Isabella, I need you to understand something."
"If I die here, you won't survive either."
"Of course, if you help me, I'll make sure to resurrect your sister afterward."
