Summoning Players into My Game

Chapter 224: Extraordinary Martial Technique Divine Power

In a stretch of continuous mountains, the mercenary trainees finally discovered a modest hideout in the mountains after tracking for over an hour.

The entire hideout was nestled in a natural small cave, with only some iron railings and wire mesh set up outside, and several makeshift houses formed from carriages, with a few Feather Race squads patrolling the surroundings.

It wasn't until the Feather Race youth delivering a message entered the hideout that the trailing mercenary trainees finally sat down to rest, regaining their energy.

"I really don't know what that devil instructor is thinking, letting us use an NPC for training. This training is way too easy. I was even somewhat looking forward to the training class when I first signed up," said a youth named Fence-Sitter Six, glancing at the Feather Race youth inside the distant hideout reporting to someone, feeling that this task was entirely unchallenging.

"I also think the instructor underestimated us. We are professionally trained elites, after all. This level of counter-tracking and tracking is something even those who barely get a mercenary certification can handle easily," nodded a bald youth beside him named Moonlit Charmer. "And this NPC is too unintelligent, with no counter-tracking awareness at all. It just led us straight back to the hideout without even taking a detour. This game is just too fake."

The other four in the team also nodded in agreement.

Although everything in the game was made very realistic, with many monsters along the way that needed to be cautiously avoided, by now they were feeling quite hungry, a hunger that felt all too real.

But the NPC's intelligence was really lacking. If it were replaced by regular people, they would have left some simple traps on the road long before, and their whereabouts would likely have been exposed already.

And their ability to discover they were being tracked by so many was because they instinctively left many simple warning traps along the way.

"Since we've discovered the hideout, we should report back," suggested Fence-Sitter Six after observing the Feather Race hideout.

But just as Fence-Sitter Six spoke, a flying transport vehicle quickly approached from a distance, landing in front of the Feather Race hideout like a gust of wind.

"Is this a new storyline?"

The team watched as more than thirty people disembarked from the flying transport vehicle. These were not Feather Race but looked similar to the Human Race, yet they had three eyes and belonged to the Three-Eyed Race.

Moreover, these three-eyed individuals were fully armed, all wearing B6 level battle armor. Even hundreds of meters away, they exuded an extraordinary presence.

As more than thirty people disembarked, a Feather Race man in a black cloak emerged from the carriage in front of the cave, respectfully approaching a two-meter-tall, imposing Three-Eyed man.

"Lord Galon, why have you come personally?" Mans looked at the arriving Three-Eyed man with utmost astonishment.

Because the man named Galon in front of him was none other than Celestial Eye Galon, one of the three monsters of the Defense Corps, not at the Bone Forging Realm, yet as capable as a master of the Bone Forging Realm.

"I heard the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall sent a lot of personnel out of the city, which is a rare opportunity, so I came to ask what's happening, and whether the two masters who killed Steel Bone and Sharp Fang are also present," Galon asked with anticipation.

"We don't know that," Mans said nervously. "We know that the Hall Master of the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall also went along, and based on the news just relayed by our people, they are heading towards Death Valley."

"The news just relayed by your people?" Galon turned to look towards a forest a few hundred meters away. "So those people are not yours?"

"Our people?" Mans, taking out binoculars and looking to where Galon glanced, saw a few figures in silver-gray outfits resembling the Human Race in the forest, his face turning pale. "Oh no, those are Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall's people. They've discovered us!"

The White Feather Gang was no match for the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall now, and once discovered secretly tracking and investigating by the Hall, it wouldn't bode well for them.

"Interesting, so they're from the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall," Galon, watching Fence-Sitter Six and others begin to flee, calmly remarked. "It's just as well; let's capture them and ask."

Hearing this, Mans was about to order a chase, but saw Galon already holding a B6 level longbow, swiftly shooting six arrows.

Six piercing sounds echoed as six arrows embedded into the forest. Galon put away the longbow, motioning for several Defense Corps captains beside him to bring the people over.

"This!"

Viewing through binoculars, Mans was utterly shocked.

Seven to eight hundred meters away, Fence-Sitter Six and the others had all been shot through the leg by arrows, unable to escape, and the control over the arrow's force was exquisite to the peak. A meter-long B6 level arrow, under normal circumstances, could obliterate their entire leg with a single shot, yet the arrows merely pierced their legs, rendering them immobile.

Six arrows in a second, with each arrow carrying a different force, Mans could hardly believe this level of physical strength control was humanly possible.

The six struck in the distant forest were equally astounded.

"Damn! Are the NPCs in this game really this strong?" Fence-Sitter Six, looking at the arrowed knee, was awed by Galon's prowess.
