Summoning Players into My Game

Chapter 283: The Prisoners' Cultivation Grounds

Mist Mountain Prison, Lower Level Area.

In a dilapidated cluster of buildings entirely constructed from mysterious metal, a team of dozens of high-tier martial artists at the extreme Bone Forging Realm was cautiously exploring each room, their every move indescribably gentle. Meanwhile, more than ten others were stationed outside the buildings, fully focused on guarding the surroundings.

"Brother Fan, our luck is really something this time. The teams that entered the Lower Level Area before us suffered quite a few losses, giving us the perfect opportunity to enter. If we can find some training techniques or martial arts left behind by the prisoners here, our strength might even secure us a spot in the top ten at the Four Domains Youth Tournament next time," said a young man of the Feather Race with two pairs of pure white wings, looking delightedly at the buildings before him.

"Indeed. I've heard that the prisoners held in the Lower Level Area are quite exceptional. Though they are detained, their living conditions are far superior to those in the Upper and Middle Levels, with large houses and recreational areas, simply restricted to this place. Surely, they must have left many good things behind," Fan Sen said, his eyes also shining as he gazed at the building complex.

Originally, their team's strength wouldn't have qualified them to enter the Lower Level Area, but they happened to find the access path unexpectedly open at the entrance.

This presented them with a chance, and without other teams from the Middle Level noticing, they rushed in at the first opportunity.

The Mist Mountain Prison's Middle and Lower Levels were entirely different.

If the Upper and Middle Levels still resembled a standard prison, then the Lower Level was more like a small city built for the prisoners' lives, albeit with no exit allowed.

Given such preferential treatment differences among the prisoners, it was clear that those in the Lower Level held significant statuses. The likelihood of finding good stuff was immensely higher compared to the Upper and Middle Levels.

"Still, we must be cautious. I've learned from the information I gathered that just ahead lies the Core Region of the Lower Level. Normally, many prisoners are active there, and if they find us, our only option would be to retreat back to the Middle Level," Lan Yu, the Feather Race young man, warned cautiously as he looked at the towering cylindrical buildings, over a thousand meters tall, in the distance, with a mix of apprehension and deep longing.

The most valuable place in the entire Lower Level Area is undoubtedly the massive cylindrical buildings before us, which not only serve to recharge the guard robots but also used to be a training ground for the prison's inmates.

Even though the prisoners' spirits and wills have now been transferred to the guard robots, over 80% of the prisoners still reside there long-term.

Just imagining a place where prisoners trained indicates that there must be numerous training techniques and martial arts within. Unfortunately, the large congregation of prisoners makes it impossible for the two thousand individuals who ventured into the Lower Level from various forces to make any headway.

Of course, there are some fortunate ones who managed to survive and emerged with training techniques surpassing the Blood Coagulation Realm, or inherited extraordinary martial skills, hence becoming prodigies of the era, unmatched by any genius.

But such occurrences are mere fantasies.

Because among the thousands who venture into that place, scarcely one survives. Their best hope outside is to find traces of training techniques and martial arts that prisoners learned in life, or perhaps some records.

The battle records, especially, are invaluable. In the prisoner-filled prison, fighting was their sole form of amusement, and some prisoners recorded these battles for reference and study.

By obtaining these records, they might learn directly from them, significantly enhancing their strength.

Fan Sen nodded, carefully on alert.

Exploring the Lower Level is entirely different from the Upper and Middle Levels, as the presence of prisoners requires them to avoid every prisoner to conduct a better exploration. They must detect the prisoners early to evade them before they are detected.

As Fan Sen and Lan Yu attentively surveyed their surroundings, a series of explosive sounds suddenly erupted in the distance, clearly indicating a battle was underway.

"Such formidable battle fluctuations. Which top team is fighting with a prisoner to make it this far without giving up?" Lan Yu marveled as he looked toward the increasingly loud commotion.

In the Lower Level of the prison, many top teams targeted prisoners. Compared to the riskier training chambers, capturing prisoners to obtain inheritances promised higher chances of success and safety.

Once a prisoner is captured, although current technology can't yet probe their memories, they can still obtain crucial information stored in the guard robots with certainty.

Fan Sen also curiously gazed toward the source of the battle fluctuations.

In seconds, a group of humans in silver-gray attire came into sight, besieging a guard robot brandishing two great swords.

This guard robot with two great swords was enveloped in intensely concentrated energy within a two-hundred-meter radius. Just a swing of its sword split the gray-clad intruders in half within two hundred meters, the Sword Qi too swift to react to.
