Chapter 312: The Battle Begins

Zhang Chunman and Jiang Qiemo were initially evenly matched, fighting until their Primordial Energy was nearly exhausted, neither able to get the better of the other.

Jiang Qiemo activated his One Thought Ghost God, which enhanced his Attributes in every aspect.

The enhancement of Attributes was one thing, but the key was that once One Thought Ghost God was activated, Jiang Qiemo had to win. It's either invincible with me or nonexistent with the enemy. A desperate fight where you only survive by facing death.

One staked his life, while the other didn't have such resolve, and the scales of victory immediately tilted.

Seeing the aura emanating from Jiang Qiemo, a trace of surprise flashed in Zhang Chunman's eyes. He almost instinctively retreated, wanting to charge off the martial stage to forfeit.

Jiang Qiemo was the kind of person who could risk everything for battle, while Zhang Chunman was not that kind of person. He wouldn't gamble his life for such a battle.

However, his retreat wasn't nearly as fast as Jiang Qiemo's advance. Seeing Jiang Qiemo's fist coming like a storm, Zhang Chunman extended his palm to punch Jiang Qiemo's fist.

This palm strike wasn't to fight desperately with Jiang Qiemo but to use the force to accelerate his retreat and fly out of the fighting stage to concede.

But when his palm struck Jiang Qiemo's fist, it felt hollow, unable to borrow any strength, and he was instantly shocked.

In mid-air, he immediately prepared to withstand the blow, his body curved like a defiant shrimp.

Boom!

The fist that Zhang Chunman couldn't leverage exploded with terrifying Power, smashing Zhang Chunman's hand and then striking his chest, sending him flying off the martial stage.

Zhang Chunman finally flew out of the fighting stage, where Zhang Huacai, seeing the situation was dire, had already rushed to the spot where Zhang Chunman was flying. He leaped and caught the flying Zhang Chunman, his feet landing outside the stage, diverting the Power from Zhang Chunman's body into the ground.

After Zhang Chunman landed, a streak of blood oozed from the corner of his mouth.

"Jiang Qiemo truly lives up to his reputation. No wonder he's the man who can make all flowers bloom." Instead of getting angry, Zhang Chunman praised Jiang Qiemo.

Gu Nanquan looked at Jiang Qiemo with a somewhat peculiar expression.

He knew Jiang Qiemo was strong and likely to defeat Zhang Chunman, which is why he set up this scheme to pave the way for Zhang Chunman's championship.

But he didn't expect Jiang Qiemo to be this strong.

"It's a good thing I was prepared in advance, or else it would have been a big problem," Gu Nanquan thought to himself.

"Aren't you going to take a look?" Chen Guan turned to Zhang Chunxiang and asked.

He had heard Zhang Chunxiang and Zhang Chunman were twins, siblings as close as blood could be.

Zhang Chunxiang, however, nonchalantly said, "Our Zhang family's Elixirs are famous throughout the world; as long as there's still a breath remaining, they can be brought back to life. Besides, his minor injuries don't even require medicine. What's there to look at?"

Zhang Chunxiang's gaze was on Jiang Qiemo, who had already won and stepped down from the stage, thinking to herself, "I originally thought Jiang Qiemo was only famous, and his strength was at best on par with Chunman. Who knew he was so formidable, with an enigmatic aura that seemed to transcend to another Realm? Such Talent is indeed rare in the world."

After Jiang Qiemo returned, he smiled at Chen Guan and said, "I was a step ahead."

Chen Guan nodded without saying anything. He knew what Jiang Qiemo meant.

He and Jiang Qiemo had an agreement to see who could control the One Thought Ghost God first. Jiang Qiemo re-entered it, thinking he had surpassed Chen Guan, which is why he said so.

"What do you mean, a step ahead?" Zhang Chunman didn't understand and curiously asked Jiang Qiemo.

"He and I had similar insights, but neither of us fully mastered them. So we made a bet to see who could completely master it first," Jiang Qiemo said casually.

Upon hearing this, a look of astonishment appeared in Zhang Chunxiang's eyes, and she involuntarily looked at Chen Guan, not expecting that Chen Guan could also enter such a transcendent Realm.

"You've also entered that Realm?"

"This was Jiang Qiemo's insight. I just imitated it. At the time, under the pressure of death, I accidentally got into it. Since then, I haven't made any progress," Chen Guan sighed.

"You'll definitely master it; it's just a matter of time," Zhang Chunxiang quickly comforted him, not wanting to upset someone she saw as a cash cow, worried about the impact on her earnings.

"I don't mind, as I'm not skilled in combat anyway," Chen Guan said truthfully, as his Lifebound Talent was of an auxiliary type.

Jiang Qiemo looked at Chen Guan with a peculiar expression, thinking, "Is this something a human would say?"

"Right, right, making money is our priority. What's the point in fighting and killing? That's for the uncultured," Zhang Chunxiang felt that Chen Guan's words made sense.

Gu Nanquan had already stepped onto the martial stage, not hearing their conversation.

At that moment, Gu Nanquan and Zhang Huacai were looking at each other across the stage, with Zhang Huacai exuding a more composed aura.

Zhang Chunman had a calm mindset, but Zhang Huacai had more than just a calm mindset; he also looked mature, appearing like a man in his thirties or forties, despite being younger than Zhang Chunman.

The two of them stared across at each other, unmoving like mountains.

Gu Nanquan gripped his sword hilt, waiting for Zhang Huacai to charge, but Zhang Huacai was even more patient; if the enemy didn't move, he wouldn't either. They were stuck in a stalemate on the stage.

Gu Nanquan felt a surge of frustration. He wanted Zhang Huacai to come over, then unleash a storm of acting, let Zhang Huacai ascend to challenge Jiang Qiemo.

He himself would then go down to block Chen Guan, preventing him from ascending.

However, Zhang Huacai just stood there, refusing to make the first move, thwarting Gu Nanquan's plans for a dignified defeat.

Finally, it seemed Gu Nanquan couldn't hold back and rushed toward Zhang Huacai, drawing his sword fiercely upon reaching him.

Unfortunately, his Blinking Blade Technique was ineffective against Zhang Huacai.

Zhang Huacai didn't even blink, so Gu Nanquan's Blinking Blade Technique couldn't exert its full potential, and his full-force strike was blocked by Zhang Huacai.

Taking advantage, Zhang Huacai struck Gu Nanquan with a palm, forcing him to concede by vomiting blood.

Previously, he stood close to the edge of the stage and could choose a more dignified way to lose by being pushed off the platform. Now, he was forced to perform embarrassingly.

Gu Nanquan returned to Jiang Qiemo and the others, gritting his teeth, "I was careless. I'll rest and challenge him again; I'll win next time."

Chen Guan stood up, ready to sign up for a challenge, having only Gu Nanquan in front of him to challenge.

"Comrade, give me another chance; I can win," Gu Nanquan made a last-ditch effort, hoping his words might stop Chen Guan, so they wouldn't have to turn hostile and fight now.

"You have a rest first." Unmoved, Chen Guan directly signed up, challenging Gu Nanquan.
