Chapter 130: See and Hear

As Richard observed the man, he realized that the latter was completely unaware of their presence.

Compared to the White Ancestor, his father was clearly just a small junior.

"Eh…" He was surprised.

Suddenly, he saw an elegant mature woman with her hair tied up neatly, wearing a light blue dress adorned with dark blue lace around her waist.

The reason for his surprise—was because the woman was Sophia.

Then he saw his father, Edward Skylight, smiling warmly at her.

"Sophia…" he greeted softly, and Richard had to admit—his father's voice carried a magnetic charm that seemed almost intoxicating.

But Sophia's face turned into a frown.

"Are you here just for a short visit?" she asked cynically.

It was clear she held some grievance, but Edward only smiled.

"What if it's only for a while? You'd still be happy, wouldn't you?" he said, reaching for Sophia's hand and pulling her closer.

"You!" Sophia gasped, but because he pulled her in, she fell into Edward's embrace.

The man immediately wrapped his arm tightly around her waist.

"Stop, Edward. Not here—I don't want anyone to see," Sophia said, flustered, her cheeks reddening.

"Don't worry. I've made sure no one's around. But hey, look at you. You're clearly not mad—you want this. Tell me, did you miss me?"

"…"

It was a bit of teasing—and Richard thought it was poor teasing—but Sophia seemed to melt far too easily.

"Quickly, get inside. If someone sees us, don't expect me to be with you again," she said, resting her head against Edward's chest.

The latter grinned, clearly unconcerned by her halfhearted threat.

Then he led her toward the castle behind them, which appeared to be Sophia's residence.

"Let's wait. Give him time to enjoy himself first. I don't like interrupting people's fun," the White Ancestor suddenly said.

Richard rolled his eyes at that.

Still, he had to admit—it was a bit intriguing.

But Richard still had his manners. There was no way he would peek when someone else was beside him, even if that someone was just a bird.

If he used his Red Eyes, the White Ancestor would definitely notice, given his insight.

"Do you want to watch, boy?" the White Ancestor suddenly asked, startling Richard.

Before he could answer, the bird perched atop his head—and to Richard's shock, he felt his Sixth Sense connect with the crow's. It was deeply hidden, yet completely clear.

Because their senses were linked, Richard found himself able to see through the White Ancestor's Sixth Sense.

From what he could tell, the White Ancestor's Sixth Sense could evade detection due to its extraordinary level.

Then, the White Ancestor's perception enveloped Sophia's castle—allowing Richard to see everything within.

He saw Edward and Sophia already on the upper floor after climbing the stairs, Sophia clinging to Edward's body, panting slightly.

"Edward," she said in a soft, spoiled tone, caressing his cheek, while the man's hand traced the thigh revealed by the slit in her dress.

They had clearly just finished an intense kiss.

"Not mad anymore, are you?" Edward chuckled as he opened the bedroom door.

"I want to hate you, but I can't," Sophia replied honestly—no longer looking shy at all, as if her mind held only desire.

Edward smiled at her words, patting her backside before carrying her to the grand bed inside the luxurious room.

Before him, Sophia looked like a cat in heat, yearning for every one of his touches.

Within moments, she was pinned beneath Edward on the bed, and the two began to strip each other's clothes away.

"Hahaha, that's enough for you to see," the White Ancestor said, cutting off Richard's vision.

"This little woman was your father's friend back at the Magic Academy. I think she used to be a virtuous woman. But even though they weren't lovers, Edward managed to make her willingly serve him whenever he desired."

Richard, "…"

In this case, he could only say that Sophia Whitewater was far from what he had imagined. Or perhaps she was a virtuous and wise woman once—but one man made her willing to do anything for him.

'No wonder she doesn't like Rebecca,' Richard thought, realizing it was because she'd lost the rivalry.

She could do anything for Edward, yet Edward could do anything for Rebecca.

"Are you still watching?" Richard asked the White Ancestor.

He claimed to dislike disturbing others' pleasure, but it seemed he enjoyed peeking.

"Why, boy? Have you grown curious about such things?" the crow replied with a chuckle.

"Alright then, just listen to their voices," he added.

Pa! Pa! Pa!

"Ohhh, Edward, darling… Ahhhh…"

"Sophia, you're so sweet…"

"Stop it!" Richard shouted.

He covered his ears, embarrassed—or perhaps simply uncomfortable—listening to it.

"Hahahaha…" The White Crow laughed, but thankfully, he stopped, cutting off the sound.

Richard scratched his head, suddenly feeling uneasy, though he wasn't sure why.

'Maybe it's the same everywhere—lust rules half the world,' he thought.

He then sat down by the roadside, leaning against a wall to wait.

He wasn't sure how long this "game" would last.

He even lost track of time, nearly dozing off as he waited.

"I suppose that boy will die by a woman's hand someday," the White Ancestor suddenly muttered, his gaze fixed on the castle.

The "boy" he referred to was clearly not Richard, but Edward.

"Come on, boy—they're done," he said next, prompting Richard to quickly stand.

He followed the White Crow into the castle.

Apparently, the castle was protected by a magical formation, but the White Ancestor passed through it as if it didn't exist—and so did Richard.

The castle's door was open, allowing them to enter silently.

They climbed the stairs, quickly arriving before Sophia's bedroom door.

Richard immediately saw Edward and the woman lying on the bed, covered by a blanket.

Sophia's hair was no longer neat—it was messy, and she buried her face into Edward's neck.

"Edward, can you stay until morning?"

Richard heard Sophia's pleading voice.

"Alright, I'm not in a hurry to leave. I'll stay with you until tomorrow," Edward replied casually, caressing her slender back.

Then, all of a sudden, Richard saw the White Ancestor fly into the room and reveal his true form.

"Alright, boy, you can stay here—but I'll be taking your Titan Skeleton…" the crow declared.

Both Edward and Sophia jolted upright in shock, though Sophia was quick enough to grab the blanket to cover herself.
