Mythical Era: My Evolution into a Celestial Beast

Chapter 1075: The Mythical Era Sixth Evolution (II)

At the edge of Blue Planet's atmosphere, Chen Chu stood tall in the void. He turned his head toward the beauty beside him, her long hair flowing freely. "Feitong, I'll be going into seclusion next. I won't have time to accompany you. Do you need me to play tour guide first?"

Shi Feitong shook her head. "No need, Big Brother Chen. I'll be fine on my own. Once you've entered seclusion, I plan to inform my sister about the situation here. If she can spare the time, she may come over as well."

Her lips curved slightly with interest. "After I've finished my business, I want to properly tour the Blue Planet. It's been so many years since I've seen a civilization as modern as this one."

The six divine regions were powerful, and their civilizations highly advanced, but their advancement was transcendent, not technological. The progress of civilization was always shaped by chance. With transcendent strength in play, and the divine regions blessed with abundant energy and resources, no one gave much thought to things like improving crop yields. All of the elites and geniuses devoted themselves to cultivation and seclusion instead.

As a result, the scientific foundation of modern civilization was naturally weakened. Even when someone did seek to raise productivity, they relied on runes and transcendent power to do so. The Heavenly Feathered Race's golden warships and energy cannons were prime examples.

Parting from Shi Feitong, Chen Chu's thoughts stirred, connecting to an unseen power.

Boom!

The blazing sun suddenly flared brighter. Its surface erupted in titanic flames, forming dozens of solar prominences a hundred thousand kilometers tall and spewing countless rays into space.

Deep within, hundreds of thousands of kilometers below the surface and near the core, a colossal golden-white mech slowly opened its eyes, azure-white radiance spilling forth.

Before the mech's massive head, azure light gathered, forming Luo Fei's figure. She looked delighted as Chen Chu appeared within the blazing sea of fire. "Chen Chu, you've recovered."

"I have." Chen Chu smiled faintly. His gaze fell on Mech No.1, whose aura had grown even stronger, and a thoughtful look appeared in his eyes. "Luo Fei, are you planning to fuse that 'heaven' as well?"

Behind the hundred-thousand-meter mech, azure light spread outward, transforming the ever-fusing, energy-raging interior of the star into a realm of ethereal brilliance.

As No.1 refined the Primordial Azure Sky, drawing upon the Solar System's power, its aura grew increasingly ancient.

Luo Fei's phantom nodded slightly. "During the mythical surge, when I summoned a fragment of the Primordial Azure Sky, I touched its core. The sky's creator has long vanished, either fallen or departed, which leaves it masterless. If I use the Solar System's origin to cleanse and refine it into No.1, not only can I erase every trace of that ancient lifeform's imprint, but I may also push beyond and break past my current shackles."

Having merged with No.1 and gleaned information from a true spirit's remnant soul, Luo Fei's understanding of power was already no less than that of an ancient-titian-level powerhouse, perhaps even higher in some aspects.

Chen Chu nodded slowly. "It's worth trying. But remember, if anything goes wrong, call upon the Solar System's Heavenly Dao to suppress it at once."

Since Chen Chu had willingly ceded authority, with her role in supporting the heavens, the newborn Solar System world had accepted Luo Fei without resistance, making her its perfect Heavenly Dao executor.

"Mhmm." Luo Fei nodded.

Then Chen Chu's eyes glimmered. "By the way, Luo Fei, you sensed the person who came back with me, didn't you?"

Luo Fei blinked. "You mean that very strong woman who went with you to visit Auntie?"

As executor, she had immediately sensed both Chen Chu and Shi Feitong when they entered the solar system's world. She simply hadn't been able to leave the sun to investigate.

Chen Chu nodded. "Yes, that's her. But you'll never guess that she's from the Ancient Civilization."

"The ancient human race!" Luo Fei froze.

"Yes. Those ancient expeditionary powerhouses still exist. They've established six divine regions in the distant void..."

Chen Chu then told Luo Fei everything: the divine regions, the true emperors, the many true spirits beneath them, and the lands beyond the chaotic heavens.

After a long while, Luo Fei finally returned to herself. The shock in her expression faded slightly. "I never thought those ancient emperors were still alive, let alone that they had all broken through to the primordial level... Wait. Chen Chu, weren't there seven emperors on that expedition? Why are there only six divine regions and true emperors? Did one of them fall?"

Chen Chu shook his head. "I asked Feitong. She doesn't know what became of the seventh emperor, only that he didn't fall. Clearly, the matter is a top-level secret even within the divine regions."

The two talked for a while longer before Chen Chu finally extended his hand toward the ancient seal held in No.1's palms.

Hum!

The Heavenly Dao Seal radiated pure white light, appearing soundlessly in Chen Chu's hand.

Boom!

The instant he held it, the entire Solar System trembled. A vast tide of energy surged outward from the sun, sweeping through the world. Every cultivator could sense that the world itself had changed. It felt as though a supreme god had returned to its throne, suppressing all beneath heaven.

Within the blazing heart of the star, Chen Chu stood cloaked in the Heavenly Dao's brilliance, his aura vast and majestic. He nodded lightly to Luo Fei before descending deeper into the sun. Where he passed, crushing heat and pressure that could have torn apart ancient titans parted silently, forming a clear path, and he easily reached the core, over six hundred thousand kilometers deep. Here, the density of matter was monstrous. Blazing temperatures and magnetic pressure twisted all things into a forbidden zone, one even Luo Fei couldn't enter.

However, as Chen Chu arrived at the core region, his sharp senses picked up something unusual. As endless chaotic void energy poured in, the sun also began to change, as if it had been imbued with life.

Beneath the sun's surface layer, Chen Chu saw a vortex ten thousand kilometers wide, where boundless scorching energy converged into a massive fireball. Within that fireball, like rolling magma, faint mythical-level life fluctuations stirred. Out of nowhere, an image surfaced in Chen Chu's mind: a golden three-legged bird, wreathed in flames.

In the chromosphere above, the sun's high-temperature atmosphere, some fiery energy nodes had gathered. Within them, faint traces of weaker life auras were also being nurtured.

Chen Chu fell into thought. So, the Great Golden Sun Crow[1]and perhaps other flame-born lives are incubating here as well.

The Faeries, the Heavenly Feathered Race, East Xia's martial arts, West Meng's mechs, North Lin's genetic beastification... Chen Chu had a strong sense that a true mythical era was approaching. With the divine regions soon to intervene, bringing communication, the exchange of knowledge, and their own form of technological development, the Federation's growth would become unimaginable. What would normally require centuries or millennia could now potentially be achieved in mere years.

Chen Chu exhaled slowly, his breath shaking the entire sun. Suppressing the surge of emotion in his heart, his gaze settled on the ancient seal floating in his hand. With the Heavenly Dao Seal in his grasp, Chen Chu possessed power equivalent to the beginning stage of the true spirit level, able to command the principles of the entire Solar System's world. In effect, he was almost invincible within this realm.

This was why he didn't worry much about the approaching envoys from the divine regions. No matter if they were at the late stage or the peak of the true spirit level, they could not set foot in the Solar System's world without his permission, much less shift its coordinates to another region.

The only thing that gave Chen Chu pause was the true emperor's decree. According to Shi Feitong, it contained a strand of the primordial-level true emperor's power, capable of summoning energy from the outer heavens to unleash a strike equal to a primordial being's.

Thousands of years ago, when she had faced the Purgatory True Demon, she had invoked the power of such a decree, summoning the might of a true emperor. Even though the decree had barely a tenth of its strength left, and was weakened further by the principles of the vast world, the strike had still nearly slain the Primordial Ancestor in one blow. The only reason it survived was because it had devoured all of the souls of the true demons present at the time, merging them to block most of the attack. Otherwise, it would have perished on the spot.

The decree held other powers as well, not only for combat. For instance, it could shift the Solar System's coordinates and position with the force of a true emperor.

Now, however, with the Solar System having undergone its second surge and its Heavenly Dao restored, the decree could no longer forcibly move the world without Chen Chu's consent. Under normal circumstances, the envoys of the divine regions also wouldn't dare to summon primordial power to injure or kill Chen Chu, for that would ignite a war without end.

Still, though the Heavenly Dao Seal was powerful, it remained a dead object after being severed from him. Without someone to wield it, its strength couldn't be fully unleashed. Even Luo Fei could only draw upon part of the world's power through it.

Looking at the floating seal, Chen Chu pondered. Then, behind him, a transparent river three thousand meters long appeared, upon which stood a hazy, translucent figure.

This was the time clone that had fought Tyretis for a full day. After exhausting all of its time power, it had returned to him. Now, Chen Chu was considering merging this time clone into the Heavenly Dao Seal.

The essence of the time mark lay in extracting an imprint from a past segment of his life, using time's power to project it into the present. Since it was drawn from the past, once its time power ran out, it would dissolve, unable to defy the foundational principles of the world.

However, as a power of the world's origin, the Heavenly Dao was beyond the jurisdiction of those foundational principles. If the fusion succeeded, Chen Chu would gain a true-spirit-level Heavenly Dao clone, one that would grow stronger alongside the Solar System itself.

Besides, this beginning-stage ancient time mark could no longer keep pace with his current cultivation. Keeping it thus served little purpose; after all, his future opponents would all begin at the true spirit level.

The only reason he hesitated was because once the time mark fused with the Heavenly Dao Seal, his Temporal Reincarnation divine ability would become incomplete. He would be able to condense only eight time clones instead of nine, and would be unable to unite them fully and unleash its most powerful strike.

However, after a brief pause, Chen Chu made his decision. At his current rate of progress, he had no hope of gathering all nine temporal true forms in the short term. The Temporal Reincarnation's ultimate strike was, for now, unnecessary. Unless he secluded himself for ten years and joined forces with the Little Purple Dragon, the technique would remain out of reach anyway.

The transparent river behind him trembled. The phantom upon it stepped forward, crossing time to descend from the past, and dove toward the floating deal.

There was no resistance. The Heavenly Dao Seal itself was born of Chen Chu's physical strength and soul will, fused with the Solar System's principles. It joined seamlessly with the phantom.

Boom!

Light burst forth from the seal, dazzling white brilliance piercing through the sun and illuminating the entire world. None could tell if the radiance bathing them came from the sun's rays or the Heavenly Dao's radiance. Countless people instinctively lifted their heads, and faintly, upon the blazing sun, they glimpsed a phantom figure holding a great seal.

No.1's eyes shone with a bluish-white radiance, a trace of doubt flickering within. In Luo Fei's perception, it almost felt as though a second Chen Chu had appeared.

Sensing the Heavenly Dao Seal reshaping a true form within, along with a faint, elusive connection, Chen Chu was a little surprised. He hadn't expected the fusion to succeed so easily. Only then did he turn his focus inward, seeing the mysterious force that carried the intent of world creation.

Boom!

A brilliant white radiance erupted from within Chen Chu, flooding even the solar core with its brilliance.

Amid the dazzling light, the phantom of a vast planar world, over a hundred thousand kilometers across, manifested.. Space and time around it endlessly collapsed into Chen Chu. Space, matter, transcendent energy, laws, even the supreme principles themselves began fusing with him.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Every cell in his body seemed to explode in that instant, releasing an indescribable power, like the detonation of countless stars. As the true plane merged, Chen Chu's already unmatched body was further awakened, unleashing an overwhelming surge of vitality.

Roar!

A majestic, ferocious dragon cry thundered through the void. The invisible force shook the entire sun, startling countless beings across the world.

"His strength has increased again!?" Luo Fei's eyes widened in awe.

Beyond the Blue Planet's atmosphere, gazing toward the sun, Xie Chen sighed. "Such a monstrous genius would appear only once in a million years."

Chen Chu, already at the late stage of the ancient titan level, was not slowing in cultivation speed. He was still soaring at a breakneck pace, as if without limit. At this rate, he could reach the true spirit level within two years. For Xie Chen, who had struggled at the mythical level for decades and only recently touched upon a breakthrough, such progress was unimaginable, incomprehensible. He could only attribute it to Chen Chu's talent.

In Tiannan City, on a bustling street, Shi Feitong looked up while eating an ice cream, a smile and admiration in her eyes.

On Saturn, Venus, and Mars, three chief gods and over a dozen mythical-level powerhouses also looked toward the blazing sun, their faces filled with dread and shock.

"That human powerhouse is terrifying!!"

"Born sacred, with the potential of the primordial!"

1. More commonly known as just the Golden Crow in ancient Chinese myths. The Golden Crow is a three-legged crow, closely associated with the sun. It's a powerful symbol of the sun and its vital energy, often depicted with a radiant golden glow. The Golden Crow is frequently featured in stories alongside other mythical creatures and deities, playing a significant role in ancient Chinese cosmology and folklore. ☜
