At the center of the Vajra Temple, the main hall is square, resembling a fortress.
The hall is surrounded by eighteen Lotus Buddha Pagodas, with the Four Great Vajra Warriors holding Demon-Subduing Pestles, giving off a fierce and evil presence, appearing even more menacing at night.
Each floor tile beneath is engraved with lotus patterns and inscribed with Tibetan script, seemingly hinting at Lotus Steps.
Sun Yan cautiously approached the main hall. Upon reaching the threshold, he gazed at the three vermillion wooden doors, feeling a moment of puzzlement.
The hall didn't appear particularly large, but the three side-by-side doors seemed conspicuously out of place, giving an inexplicable sense of discomfort.
Sun Yan pondered for a moment, randomly choosing the door on the far left, stepped forward, and pushed it open to enter.
Inside, the hall was unusually dim, illuminated by only a few lamps hanging from the ceiling.
Sun Yan focused his gaze and felt his heart tighten slightly; these lamps were made from human bones, with each leg and arm bone clearly recognizable, causing a chill to creep into his heart.
Sun Yan knew very well that these Tibetan temples wouldn't bother with fake bones for decoration.
These bone lamps had to be genuine.
Furthermore, the layout of the hall was also particularly strange, as the interior space seemed smaller than it appeared from the outside, clearly partitioned with walls.
This meant that the monks of the Vajra Temple had divided the original hall into three rooms, implying a significant secret may be hidden behind this.
"Who are you? The monks in the temple don't dare come to this place."
Just as Sun Yan stepped into the hall, a voice suddenly came from a couch inside.
Sun Yan looked towards the sound to see an old monk, wrapped in red cloth, sitting cross-legged on a golden cushion, his slouching form and long brows shading his narrow eyes.
It seemed as though he was scrutinizing Sun Yan, the outsider.
Sun Yan's Celestial Eye opened at his brow, and he instantly saw a surge of black mist erupt from the otherwise ordinary old man, swirling behind him.
The old monk appeared on the verge of death, like a decaying log, as if he already had one foot in the coffin.
"Greetings, Master. I arrived here unintentionally, merely searching for a friend," Sun Yan said calmly, his hands together in a salute.
Although this elder appeared human, Sun Yan's Celestial Eye revealed he wasn't human at all.
The presence of such a strange being in the Vajra Temple's Buddhist Temple was both ironic and indicative of serious underlying issues with the place.
"Looking for a friend, that's good. Here, all are friends, certain to satisfy you."
In an instant, the red cloth dropped from the elder's body, revealing him adorned with various gold and silver ornaments, descending the couch with a jingle, trembling as he approached Sun Yan.
The black mist enveloping this character intensified, shrouding the entire hall, with faces of men and women occasionally surfacing, staring venomously at Sun Yan.
Ordinary humans wouldn't detect such occurrences but could distinctly feel the chill permeating the hall.
Sun Yan remained unfazed, quietly gripping his Golden Halberd, knowing that a Buddhist Hall harboring malevolent spirits deserved no mercy once encountered.
"Come, I'll lead you to your friend!"
The elder, with a sinister grin, reached towards Sun Yan, who swiftly countered with a blow from his axe.
The elder's arm fell to the ground as he let out a painful scream, his skin cracking open as an exceedingly ugly, horned creature emerged from his skin, resembling a Buddhist Sect's Evil Ghost Yaksha.
"This Vajra Temple truly has issues; it seems Dorje's disappearance is indeed related to you."
Sun Yan removed the Mountain-Opening Fierce General Nuo Mask from his head, concealing his face entirely, his eyes revealing a glint of cold light: "Tell me, where is Dorje now?"
"You mean the child who escaped death from the Suffering Bodhisattva?"
The Yaksha's dark green pupils were filled with coldness: "Don't worry, he should still be alive, but this matter no longer concerns you. I didn't expect you to be a Spirit Communicator.
In Tibet, Spirit Communicators like you, untainted, are becoming rarer. I want you to lend your body to me, to assist in cultivating the true mysteries of Shambhala, and attain the Pure Land Buddha Position."
Suddenly, the candles in the hall were extinguished, and Sun Yan felt a sinister wind arise behind him.
Without any hesitation, he swung the Golden Halberd backwards.
A golden light flashed as the axe slashed through a shadow, followed by a scream.
A large amount of hot blood spilled onto the ground, releasing a foul stench; just a whiff made Sun Yan's head faintly dizzy. He held his breath, refusing to underestimate his opponent.
"These Tibetan demons possess some skills indeed."
Looking around and seeing nothing but blood, Sun Yan realized that the demon was merely injured and not fatally wounded.
Facing such a strange being, Sun Yan immediately raised the Nine Dragon Five Thunder Seal in his hand.
With the infusion of Incense Ash Magical Power, the Great Seal shimmered in lavender light, exploding with countless arcs of electricity, illuminating the entire hall.
"Ah!!"
At the same time, a scream echoed as arcs of electricity struck a shadow, which fell onto the ground, revealed to be the black Yaksha that had crawled from the elder's skin.
