Magnum One was lively when they entered. A few dormmates waved at Orion and Caelum as they passed through the common lounge.
"Back already?" one asked.
"Just getting supplies," Caelum replied.
Orion stored his purchases neatly before settling into the lounge again. The room buzzed with light conversations—some cheerful, some stressed, most simply curious about what tomorrow would bring.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Timetable should arrive soon," Caelum said, glancing at his bracelet.
"Six on the dot," Orion agreed.
They sat among the others, the atmosphere comfortably noisy but not overwhelming.
Orion leaned slightly back into the couch.
By six pm sharp, their bracelets chimed.
Orion immediately clicked his and checked it.

(A/N: I need your feedbacks, so far I've been giving a lot of details, I want to make it a proper academic experience but I don't want it to be overwhelming, are the amount of details I'm giving just right or is it too much? Or even worse, is it too small? Lemme know.)
(A/N: I've been avoiding naming the days, thinking of giving them a unique one for Velastra, but I feel its going to get too confusing. I'll keep avoiding it till I get a proper system, but for now, manage with the above)
(A/N: Too make it easier

Orion let the holographic timetable fade and leaned back into the couch, exhaling through his nose.
Three back-to-back classes on the very first morning.
Of course.
He rubbed the bridge of his nose once, then chuckled quietly to himself. "Great start."
Not that he minded. If anything, a small spark of excitement flickered in his chest. Magical medicine as his second course… it felt oddly nostalgic. A strange blend of familiarity and curiosity. He'd get to study biology again—but this time tied to mana, cores, and magical physiology. It was different. New enough to intrigue him. Old enough to feel natural.
Still… three consecutive lectures.
His Monday mornings were going to be brutal.
He turned his head slightly. Caelum was staring at his own timetable with a contemplative expression—one eyebrow raised, lips tugged upward like he'd just remembered something amusing.
Orion raised a brow. "What?"
Caelum finally looked at him fully and smirked. "I'm sure Seris is laughing at you right now."
Orion chuckled under his breath. "Let her laugh. She's dead on Tuesday."
Across the lounge, the rest of Magnum One had collectively descended into mild suffering. Students compared schedules, bemoaned early classes, and questioned their life choices with the shared sense of doom only an academic timetable could instill.
In the girls dorm,
Selene was studying her screen with a small sigh, mumbling something about "dense course overlap."
Seris, seated on a nearby couch, was dramatically face-down on a pillow. "I have no break on Tuesday, I literally have no break on Tuesday."
Someone else in the room lamented having practical combat right after a spell theory course.
Even Orion could see the pattern now:
None of them were getting as much time for personal training, sparring, or mana absorption as they'd hoped.
A long and stressful ride ahead.
He wasn't bothered, but he definitely noted the shift.
A familiar presence approached. Heavy but controlled footsteps.
Erevan.
He stopped beside Orion and Caelum, holding his own timetable projected above his wrist. His expression was… annoyed. Not angry—just deeply unimpressed.
Orion glanced at him, amused already. "What's wrong?"
Erevan frowned down at the hologram. "I thought there'd be more space and time. It's like everything is jammed together." He pointed to the cluster of afternoon classes. "How am I supposed to get stronger than you if they don't give us enough time?"
Orion smiled faintly. "We're meeting our class instructor tomorrow. I'm sure you can pitch that in."
Erevan blinked. "Really?"
Orion stared at him with a perfectly straight face. "No, bro."
Caelum looked away, covering a smile.
Erevan stared at Orion for a long, betrayed second. "…I walked into that."
"You did," Orion agreed.
Erevan flopped onto the couch beside them with an exaggerated groan. "This academy hates us."
Orion simply sat and watched the room settle.
Tomorrow, everything started.
New instructors.
New classes.
New pace.
An actual academic rhythm—it felt almost strange after a week of free exploration.
One by one, the lounge slowly emptied as students retired to their rooms.
Eventually, Orion stood too.
Caelum followed. Erevan trailed behind, still muttering about time management.
They exchanged brief goodnights with the others before heading down the hall toward their rooms.
Orion opened his door, stepped inside, and glanced once more at the timetable now hovering silently above his desk.
Tomorrow at nine.
He let it fade.
Then lay down, closed his eyes, and let sleep take him.
