The old man charged at the mysterious figure, moving lightly and swiftly, like a nimble Immortal Crane.

His Magical Treasure cut through the air with dazzling rays, carrying immense power, and rushed toward the mysterious figure. The mysterious figure hadn't anticipated the old man's arrival and hurriedly dodged, but the old man's attack was too fierce, leaving marks on his body.

The mysterious figure was forced to retreat by the old man's attack, his eyes filled with anger and unwillingness. He glanced at the old man and shouted loudly, "Who are you? Why meddle in others' affairs?"

"You must leave quickly; leave this to me," the old man shouted, as if issuing an order that could not be disobeyed.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue knew that staying would only be a burden to the old man. They nodded, filled with gratitude. Shen Jingqi looked at the old man and said, "Senior, you must be careful; this mysterious figure is very powerful."

The old man smiled slightly and said, "Don't worry, I will be fine. Hurry and leave, find a safe place."

Lin Yue also said, "Senior, thank you for saving us. Once we're safe, we'll definitely come back to help you."

The old man nodded and said, "Go quickly, don't waste time."

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue, with the Chaos Spirit Pearl, struggled to leave under the old man's protection.

As they walked, they kept looking back at the old man. The old man and the mysterious figure were locked in fierce combat, each attack imbued with great strength, each defense exhausting his efforts. Though the mysterious figure was very strong, under the old man's attacks, he was gradually losing ground.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue quickened their pace; they knew they couldn't let the old man down. They had to find a safe place quickly and then find a way to return to help him.

They ran quickly along the forest path, the surrounding trees flashing by them rapidly. Their hearts were filled with tension and worry, uncertain if the old man could prevail against the mysterious figure.

Suddenly, they heard a loud noise, like an explosion. Their hearts tightened; they stopped hurriedly and looked toward the source of the sound. A dense smoke rose in the forest, covering the skies, as if trying to swallow the whole forest.

"Could something have happened to the old man?" Shen Jingqi's heart tightened, and his eyes were filled with concern. Lin Yue also looked at the smoke, full of fear.

"We must go back and see."

Lin Yue hesitated for a moment, then said, "But the old man told us to leave quickly; going back might only be a burden to him."

Shen Jingqi said, "We can't just leave the old man like this; he saved us, so we must save him."

Lin Yue nodded and said, "Okay, let's go back and see."

They turned and ran toward the source of the sound, their hearts filled with tension and worry. When they reached the battlefield, it was a scene of chaos: trees broken, land overturned. The old man was standing there, bearing marks of injuries, but his gaze remained resolute.

The mysterious figure was nowhere to be seen; no one knew whether he was defeated by the old man or had fled.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue rushed to the old man's side, nervously asking, "Senior, are you alright?"

The old man shook his head and said, "I'm fine, just a minor injury. I chased the mysterious figure away, but he's very powerful; I fear he might return."

Shen Jingqi said, "Senior, you are amazing. Without you, we would have been at risk today."

The old man said, "No need to thank me; it's our duty to protect the Chaos Spirit Pearl. Do you know why the mysterious figure sought to seize the Chaos Spirit Pearl?"

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue shook their heads and said, "We don't know; he only said that the Chaos Pearl does not belong to us."

The old man frowned and said, "It seems there's a powerful force behind this mysterious figure, seeking to seize the Chaos Spirit Pearl for some secret purpose."

Lin Yue said, "Senior, what should we do? We can't let the Chaos Spirit Pearl fall into their hands."

Suddenly, they heard a strange sound, like a beast's roar. Their hearts tightened; they stopped abruptly and looked toward the source of the sound. A huge beast burst out of the woods, rushing toward them.

The beast was enormous, covered in black fur, its eyes shining with viciousness. Its claws were extremely sharp, as if capable of tearing everything apart.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue quickly swung their weapons, engaging in an intense battle with the beast. Their moves were agile and quick, each attack carrying great power. But the beast was equally strong, its attacks very fierce, making it difficult for them to withstand.

In the intense battle, Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue gradually fell into a dire situation. Their bodies were hit by the beast's attacks, leaving scars. But they did not give up; clenching their teeth, they continued fighting the beast.

Just as they were about to give in, suddenly, a ray of light shot out from the Chaos Spirit Pearl, striking the beast. The beast let out a miserable cry and then fell to the ground.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue felt a surge of joy; they knew it was the Chaos Spirit Pearl's power that helped repel the beast. Looking at the Chaos Spirit Pearl in their hands, their hearts were filled with gratitude.

They continued heading deeper into the forest; as they ventured further, the surrounding environment grew increasingly eerie. Trees twisted and appeared strange, a foreign aura permeating the air.
