"Where...where is this?" Lin Yue asked in surprise.

Shen Jingqi looked at the scene in the mirror, a thought stirring in his heart. He said, "Perhaps this mirror is guiding us to that place. Maybe there lies the answer to our mystery."

They decided to take a chance, following the guidance in the mirror. They resisted the attacks of the dark shadows while moving in the direction shown by the mirror.

The dark shadows seemed to sense their intent and attacked more frantically. Their claws grew sharper, and their movements more swift. Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue accumulated more wounds, their clothes stained with blood.

But they didn't give up. They supported each other, tightly leaning together, and took step by step forward. Finally, under the guidance of the light in the mirror, they found a hidden passage in the woods.

The passage was filled with a pungent smell, and the walls flickered with eerie light. Without hesitation, they rushed into the passage, and the shadows behind them seemed wary of the passage and did not follow.

They walked forward along the passage, which was very quiet, with only the sound of their footsteps and breathing. Suddenly, a door appeared ahead in the passage. The door was covered with runes exactly like those on the box.

"These runes..." Shen Jingqi muttered to himself, his eyes filled with contemplation.

They walked inside and found a huge room. In the center of the room stood a massive stone platform, on which lay an object radiating intense light. It was the Divine Artifact they had been searching for.

"The Divine Artifact!" Lin Yue exclaimed excitedly, her eyes filled with surprise.

Just as they were about to step forward to take the Divine Artifact, a voice suddenly echoed in their ears: "Hoo, west."

They looked around in terror but saw no one. The voice seemed to come from all directions, making it impossible to pinpoint its source.

"Who are you? Show yourself!" Shen Jingqi shouted loudly, his eyes revealing anger and vigilance.

At that moment, a figure slowly emerged from the shadows of the room. It was a mysterious figure dressed in transparent fog-like clothing, with a mask concealing their face.

"You shouldn't have come here. This Divine Artifact is not something you can lay your hands on," the mysterious figure said coldly, their voice low and hoarse, as if coming from Hell.

Shen Jingqi held his sword tightly and said, "We've been through so much to uncover the secrets of the Jade Pendant and the Divine Artifact. This Divine Artifact is crucial to us, and we must obtain it."

The mysterious figure let out a cold laugh and said, "Just you? You have no idea how much danger lies behind this Divine Artifact. Once it's awakened, it will bring forth a catastrophic disaster."

Lin Yue said, "We only want to unveil the secret and protect the Divine Artifact, ensuring it doesn't cause a disaster."

The mysterious figure shook their head and said, "Once this Divine Artifact appears, it will attract the coveting eyes of all evil forces. You cannot protect it."

Shen Jingqi said, "No matter what, we have to try. We will not give up easily."

The mysterious figure stood silently in the center of the room, the dim light casting a mysterious outline of their form.

The mysterious figure watched them, silent for a moment, as if lost in thought. Every passing second felt like a heavy hammer, pounding on Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue's hearts.

Finally, the mysterious figure spoke, their voice low and cold, "Since you are so persistent, I will give you a chance. If you can pass my test, I will allow you to take the Divine Artifact."

Shen Jingqi slightly frowned, a hint of doubt rising in his heart, but it was quickly replaced by determination. He stepped forward and asked loudly, "What test?" The voice echoed in the empty room, full of fearless courage.

The mysterious figure did not answer, only slowly waved their hand. In an instant, the floor of the room began to shake violently as if a giant beast was awakening underground. Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue clutched each other's hands tightly, their bodies swaying with the trembling ground. Suddenly, the ground cracked open, revealing a massive abyss. The abyss was filled with a black mist, like a demon baring its fangs and claws, constantly churning and surging. Faintly, terrifying monsters could be seen swimming in the mist, emitting low roars that sent chills down one's spine.

"You have to jump into this abyss and find the three keys hidden at the bottom. Only with those three keys can you open the chest beside the Divine Artifact and obtain the real way to control it. If you die in the abyss, you have only yourselves to blame," the mysterious figure said coldly, their eyes devoid of any compassion.

Shen Jingqi and Lin Yue exchanged a glance. Lin Yue bit her lip gently, a little worried, but seeing Shen Jingqi's resolute expression, her worry instantly turned to bravery. "Fine, we accept the test," Shen Jingqi said, his voice not loud but full of strength.

They held hands and slowly walked to the edge of the abyss. With every step, they could feel the trembling of the ground beneath their feet. The terrifying aura from the abyss felt like countless invisible hands trying to pull them down. But they hesitated not at all, exchanged a single look, then without hesitation, leapt into the abyss.

The mist in the abyss instantly swallowed them, and they felt their bodies continuously sinking, as if plunging into an endless dark abyss. The roars of monsters echoed around their ears, the sound like sharp blades piercing their eardrums. Shen Jingqi held Lin Yue's hand tightly, silently vowing, "I must protect her, find the keys, and leave this cursed place."

Suddenly, a giant tentacle extended from all directions, carrying a stench, reaching towards them. The tentacle was as thick as a water barrel, covered with sharp barbs, making one shudder at the sight.

Shen Jingqi's heart jolted, but he quickly reacted. He pulled Lin Yue behind him with force, then swiftly drew the dagger from his waist and slashed fiercely at the tentacle.

As the dagger stabbed into the tentacle, a spray of black liquid burst out, splattering Shen Jingqi's face. The tentacle recoiled in pain, emitting waves of agonizing howls.
