Aiden stared at his hands in amazement at the sort of power flowing through his body. It wasn't like this when he hit the scaleborn rank.

Then his enhanced hearing picked up different sounds from everyone in the guild.

"Where did that magic power come from?" One voice said.

"Was that Aiden?" Another asked.

Aiden sighed. He could tell that the sudden surge of his magic power had mounted this pressure on everyone, and even still, he hadn't been able to curb how much of that magic power had been flowing out.

"Well, I guess it's time I checked that Pocket Space."

He chose to leave the immediate vicinity for now so that the effect of his magic pressure would lessen on everyone.

With a single thought, space warped around him and instantly he disappeared away from sight, warping straight into his pocket space.

The first thing he saw were huge rectangular blocks of stone floating in the air, suspended as though gravity didn't exist in the space.

The ground was made of cracked platforms stretching into the distance, leading toward a glowing pink light on the horizon.

Tiny cube fragments of earth drifted lazily through the air, and the whole space was bathed in shades of purple, pink, and blue, giving it an almost surreal glow.

"I thought… I thought you said this place was as small as a room?" Aiden questioned, looking entirely astonished at the expansive space that could size an entire town.

[When you received the skill, you were only a scaleborn]

[As a Wyrm, your skills have undergone qualitative change and have evolved]

"That's interesting," Aiden said, nodding to himself. "I don't suppose I go through this type of change only once?"

[You'll undergo another qualitative change at the level of an Adult Dragon and the final change at Dragon King]

"Good to know."

The system then continued with its notifications.

[The System commends you on achieving the next step in your progress as the Future Dragon King]

[You will now receive the following upgrades and Rewards]

[All General Dragon skills have been upgraded to the next level]

[Ranges for General Dragon skills have been increased by 5x]

[Dragon's sight now grants predictive capabilities as host will now be able to anticipate an opponent's next move based on the slightest muscle tension in their body]

[Dragon Transformation will now give draconic wings to the Host]

[All ranges for the authority skills have increased by 10x]

"Okay, that's really good," Aiden said, rubbing his jaw.

[All Copied spells have been upgraded to their original strength. The Magic Spells Copy Skill will now copy spells at their original strength]

"Yesssss!!!!" Aiden yelled and lifted his clenched fist with joy. "Yes! Yes!" He yelled again and again.

That particular reward screen made him really happy and put this smile on his face.

[The Host can now make up to 20 avatars. This effect also applies to when the avatars use the skill of duplication]

[The other limitations remain the same until certain level ups trigger their upgrades]

[Dragon's sense passive has been upgraded to include spatial awareness]

[The rest of the host's passive skills have been made better and even more effective now]

Now it was time the system gave him new authority skills for reaching a new Dragon rank.

[You have gained a new Replication Authority Skill: Swordsmanship Copy]

[Swordsmanship Copy → Host is able to replicate any style of swordsmanship seen once before]

"I haven't gotten anything on martial arts yet. I should probably travel to Zahka one of these days," Aiden laughed a bit at his joke.

[You have gained a new Space Authority Skill: Banishment]

[Banishment → Host can forcibly send anything within a 3000 meters range into his Pocket Domain. This target or object must be within his field of view]

[You have gained a new Destruction Authority Skill: Zero Effect]

[Zero Effect → Host is able to destroy the effects of magic]

[The Host has been granted +1,000,000 XP for making it to Wyrm]

[All stats have been raised by +40 as those are befitting of a Wyrm]

[A total of 23 stats points accrued from leveling up has been awarded to the Host]

[Dragon curse meter has increased by +10]

[Host has gained access to Syra's consciousness and spirit. You will now be able to interact with her and seek her guidance]

Aiden's eyes widened at that screen. "What? I was under the assumption she was dead."

[The Souls of the Previous Hosts live forever within the system. Only their bodies perish forever]

"Hm…" Aiden muttered, nodding his head in understanding. His mind drifted to the day at Thyrak's Lair, where his life had changed for the better, and he smiled remembering all that thought.

"Show my current requirements," Aiden asked, waiting to see what to expect next.

[System Upgrade is Required before a display of requirements]

[System Upgrade is Required before a display of new permanent quests]

[System Upgrade is Available and awaiting Host's confirmation to begin Upgrade]

"System Upgrade? That's new, but okay you have my confirmation," Aiden said with a shrug.

[System Upgrade Processing… 2%… 55%… 99%]

[System Upgrade has begun. Host is advised to wait one second]

[System Upgrade Complete]

[New Updates]

- Host's Innate Magic has been upgraded to Deity Rank

- Host's Dragon Skills have been raised to the next level

- The Authorities have been upgraded to Deity Rank

- A new exp requirement system has been made

[The System will now send new Exp Requirements]

[Exp Requirements]:

- 2,500,000 xp required to go up to Level 4 Wyrm

- 150,000xp required for Dragon's Sight Lv.8

- 120,000xp required for Dragon Transformation Lv.7

- 90,000xp required for Dragon's Fear Lv.6

- 400,000 XP required to raise Host Magic to Deity+ Rank

- 500,000 XP required to raise Destruction Authority to Deity+ Rank

- 500,000 XP required to raise Replication Authority to Deity+ Rank

- 500,000 XP required to raise Space Authority to Deity+ Rank

Aiden had a puzzled expression looking at the new requirements, and most part of him felt like he was being swindled by the system. "Excuse me, what in the hell are these requirements?"

[The System is in charge of setting what experience points it considers fit, and will give host the commensurate rewards for these requirements, when he merits it]

[The System will from time to time require an upgrade at any point in time it considers proper]

[System upgrade will not halt any other functions of the system]

[The System will however compensate for inconveniences, as seen when it upgraded your existing skills and authorities to the next level]

"Tsk," Aiden clicked his tongue in annoyance. He shook his head and decided to deal with the last thing.

"How many points do I have available?" He asked.

[You have 73 points in total available]

"And what do my current stats show?"

The system then replied by bringing forth his stats.

[Strength: 122] [Agility: 109]

[Intelligence: 135] [Endurance: 105]

He assigned 19 points each to strength and intelligence, 18 points to endurance, and 17 points to Agility.

[Strength 122 → 141]

[Agility 109 → 126]

[Intelligence 135 → 154]

[Endurance 105 → 123]

"Alright," Aiden said, then took his status window away with a thought.

His body had also adjusted to the overflowing magic power, and he could now bring it under his control.

Now that he was done with the system, there was now one thing left for him to devise about.

The incoming war.
