Lucien, New Captain Of Silver Pegasus, was well-known within Dragonhold. He had the Crowley hair, and the Crowley face.
It was a symbolic gesture, meant to show that the transition of power was not a complete erasure of the old order. That those who cooperated would be rewarded.
Oberon also made sure of one other thing. He made Xathia an extension of Dragonhold.
Every other thing seemed to be normal. Especially the events of the day at Ravens Grave.
"BERNARDDD!!!!"
Yeah, that was the yelling voice of a very pissed off Captain Katherine, and she was currently in search of him.
Someone had to answer for that Pot of meat she had been waiting for, all morning, now covered in black soothe
Thankfully for Bernard, he had finally mastered the invisibility supplementary spell.
A skill he used while hiding in one of the ten rooms at the top floor of the guild's building.
That was how scared he was.
"Hehehe," Piers chuckled from his bed. He'd been lying there the whole time and saw Bernard dart into the room like a hunted rabbit.
"How long are you going to keep hiding from her?" Piers asked
"As long as my mana holds" Bernards replied, without undoing the supplementary spell.
Piers shook his head in amusement.
Meanwhile in the training room, was Kayden sparring against one of the new members of Ravens Grave, Innis.
She was a senior ranked mage from one of the three dragonhold guilds that were disbanded.
They had both momentarily stopped to cover their ears gruntingly from Katherine's yelling.
Then she laughed for a second after it passed, "that is one hell of a captain"
"You don't know the half of it" Kayden replied
Then she returned into a fighting stance and beckoned at Kayden, with a devious grin on her face, "Let's continue fancy feet!"
"I told you, stop calling me that!" Kayden yelled in frustration as streaks of lightning coursed through his body once more, before diving back in at Innis.
She was as pretty as she was cunning and derived the most joy in taunting Kayden who had grown to be a consistent sparring partner.

When Elena and Oliver who were carrying a few books from the library reached the doors of the guild's building, they heard the Captain's furious yelling. Then stopped for a moment and glanced at each other…
Elena then said, "Perhaps we'll be back in two hours"
Oliver nodded in agreement, "Fine with me"
And with that, they both turned away and walked back to the library. They weren't about to get caught up in the Captain's trouble.

Aiden stepped out into the sunlight, brushing dust from his coat.
Behind him, Laela stretched her arms over her head, rolling her shoulders. "That was a new clearing top speed," she said.
Arianna followed, brushing dirt from her sleeves. "You were just showing off," she said, grinning.
"Maybe a little." He grinned right back
They walked in silence for a while, with the A-ranked dungeon structure slowly receding into the ground as it had just been cleared under 5 minutes
The road back to the city was quiet, and felt pleasant. Aiden could have easily teleported them all back to the guild's building, but they somehow preferred it this way.
It was a way for all three of them to spend time together.
It had been like this for the past month.
The three of them, moving together. Fighting together. Living in this strange, tentative balance that none of them had quite put into words.
It had started after the conversation laela and aiden had within this pocket domain. Right after the end of the war that day
As they walked back home, A faint smile tugged on his lips, with a flashback of the conversation coming to mind.
"…And so that was why the kiss happened that day with me and Arianna…" Aiden had just finished giving her a breakdown of how he became a dragon, the system and the curse meter.
Laela had been silent for a long moment, trying to wrap her head around everything she had just heard.
"Say something…" Aiden had that worried look on his face
"I just heard you're a growing dragon who would think other women as treasures for the keeping. The least you can do is let me actually think…" she said with a straight face as she looked into Aiden's eyes.
Aiden sighed and moved back a bit, letting her some space.
But in the end, Laela had said something that surprised him.
"Xathia has always been a polygamous nation," her arms were crossed as she stared at the floor. "I grew up seeing it. Nobles with multiple wives. Merchants with multiple partners. It's… not uncommon."
Aiden had a shocking stare, "Wait… you're getting it wrong. I never said anything about polygamy or multiple wives, or even considering the idea. I was only trying to explain why that kiss happened with Arianna"
Laela scoffed, "by what you say Aiden. This is your nature." She sighed.
"This is all confusing right now but there's one thing I know for certain and that is the fact that I love you, Aiden. So much that I don't want to lose you for any reason. So if the Dragon in you likes to take multiple women, i guess i'll have to live with that."
"Laela—" Aiden whispered again, with a sad face, unsure of what next to have said.
Aiden shook his head amusingly as he snapped away from the flashback, glanced at both women, then looked forward as they continued on their way back to City Of Dragonhold.
A few days after Aiden had explained his rather peculiar situation to Laela, and in between the moving to Dragonhold, The pretty elf had found it in her to confront Arianna about what happened.
Arianna had been feeling miserable ever since until laela approached. Then they had a conversation, where Laela explained Aiden's rather peculiar situation.
The elf made it clear she didn't to be at what felt like bad terms with her over Aiden and if truly Arianna cares for him, then she was fine with it.
It was a rather awkward conversation, and Arianna was silent most of the time, only nodding when she had to and apologizing once again to Laela.
And although the Greystone accepted that they both could care for Aiden in their ways, a part of her had this lack of satisfaction regardless.
This lack of satisfaction stemmed from wondering if Aiden would ever see her as anything more than a fanciful treasure or an item of worth that he had to have.
