SSS Ranked Dragon King: My Innate Ability is Unbelievable.

Chapter 103: You're a Genius!

" Mel, Sal, why don't you two play with this while mommy and daddy talk with uncle for awhile." Su Ping conjured a small dark sphere in his hand, which he tossed to the both of them. It was light to the touch but slightly elastic after he added wood magic into it.

" Ok daddy."

" Thank you daddy." Su Ping smiled watching the both of them move a few meters away while playing with the dark sphere as if it was a toy ball.

" Like I said, If anyone comes here I can just kill them. Why should I be forced to leave because of some humans?" Su Pings expression turned cold once more when he turned to face Rugard.

" B-But honey... Couldn't we just leave. I'm sure the children wouldn't mind. It'll be safer for them if we found somewhere else to live." Melinda pursed her lips, staring at her husband.

" I'm afraid that's not possible... No matter where we go, We won't be able to avoid it." Su Ping said but Melinda only looked worried and confused.

Su Ping realized she couldn't understand what he was trying to say. He knew that one way or the other, he would have to keep playing the Kings Game as a player, he didn't want to find out what the system would do if he decides to drop it all of a sudden, after all, billions were killed just because they refused to pick a card, if that was the case then what sort of wicked fate would await those who didn't want to continue playing.

" I'd like to discuss with my wife in private." Su Ping glanced at Rugard before he found himself trapped in a dark sphere.

" Annoying bastard..." Rugard snickered, not minding the pitch black space. Su Ping didn't make any attempts to suck out his magical power so he decided he might as well wait for him to say whatever it was he wished to say.

With Rugard out of the picture, Su Ping tried explaining to Melinda about the Kings game, though he obviously didn't tell her everything to risk arousing suspicions. He just told her what she needed to know, like how the system required him to amass land and territory while also recruiting subordinates.

" And that's why I don't think moving will change anything." Su Ping said with a sigh.

Melinda was silent after hearing what he had to say, her lips pursed, with her brows furrowed, as if she was contemplating something.

" Honey, you said you had to gain land and territory as well as worker's right." Melinda's eyes suddenly brightened as she asked.

" Yes?" Su Ping answered skeptically, wondering why his wife was suddenly so excited.

" Wouldn't it be better to just purchase all those instead of killing others for it?" Melinda chuckled while smiling triumphantly.

"..." Su Ping suddenly froze as if something within his mind had clicked all of a sudden.

' Wait...she's right! Why didn't I think of that before.' Su Ping's pupils dilated in shock. As far as he could remember, there wasn't anything amongst the systems rules and info that said he couldn't just acquire those things legally.

' Subordinates are not completely loyal to you once inducted, so I don't see the difference. If I first purchase them then induct them, wouldn't that increase the chances of them becoming absolutely loyal to me?!' Su Ping's body began to tremble from the possibilities.

Besides buying and such, he realized that there were several other ways to acquire territory and forces without having to put his life on the line.

' If I gain lands through legal routes, I'll need to have a way to protect them, after all, not all players will be willing to resort to legal means to acquire territory. Meaning I'll have to create another force specialized in protecting those territory's while I'll create another force specialized in acquiring funds I can use to fund any and all operations I might have in mind.' an excited chuckle was soon heard from Su Ping's mouth.

" Sweetheart your a genius." Su Ping pulled Melinda into his embrace before she could react. Lifting her with his hands and twirling her around in the air before dropping her.

" Darling I don't think I did anything special." Melinda blushed from the sudden show of affection.

" Nonsense! You've done more than you know." Su Ping slicked back her hair before giving her a kiss on her forehead. To this, Melinda's expression turned even more rosy, yet her eye's were filled with warmth and love as she lay'd on her husband's warm chest.

" I take it your done chatting now." Rugard who was sitting down, stood up and stretched his muscles the moment Su Ping undid the dark sphere.

" So, did you finally decide on leaving."

" Not quite. We've come to an agreement but it deviates slightly from what you suggested." Su Ping hugged his wife's waist while eyeing the human man with a squinted gaze.

Rugards eyelids twitched as he thought to himself that this irritating demon never passed off the opportunity to make sure he knew what was his.

" If you wish to come with us, you'll need to enter a contract with me." Su Ping waved his hand and a parchment similar to a burnt red and black paper that looked ethereal, emerged infront of Rugard.

Su Ping had already prepared the contract before undoing the Dark sphere, the act of creating a contract seemed to come naturally to beings from the Abyss, plus, he had Zhen Qi to teach him, so he didn't have any hindrances while making it but, the contract had a troublesome flaw.

if the signing party was significantly far stronger than the contract creator, the contract would be subject to breaches so long as the breacher could withstand the backlash.
