" You said that there are too many livestock to take along?" Su Ping suddenly asked. Rugard gave him a skeptical look but nodded in the end.
Getting his affirmation, a dark grin creeped onto Su Ping's lips, scaring Rugard a bit.
Su Ping led Melinda and kids to Aunty Finley's house. He told Melinda to wait with the kids there while he and Rugard worked together so that they could leave the village quicker.
" Daddy needs to do something important, can I trust the both of you to look after your mommy till I get back." Su Ping patted the heads of Mel and Sal.
" Daddy, you won't take long, will you." Sal smiled, enjoying his father's touch.
" I don't want Daddy to go." Mel held onto Su Pings hands, her lips trembling as she stared at her father with her adorable, big round eyes.
Su Ping sighed before lifting Mel into his arms. Only after consoling and reassuring her that he wouldn't take long, did he pass her to Melinda.
" No matter what happens, make sure the children don't come outside." Melinda froze for a moment when Su Ping whispered that I to her ears, but when he kissed her the next moment, a warm smile emerged on her face.
" Ok honey..." Melinda nodded before closing the door. With them gone, Su Ping's demeanor turned cold once more.
[Dark Sphere]
For added measure, he casted a Dark sphere in the form of a dome over the entire house.
" Let's go." Su Ping said as he walked past Rugard.
" Go were exactly?" Rugard asked with a look of annoyance, he felt like this demon just wanted to boss him around at every opportunity it got.
" To the free meat of course." Su Ping said before instantly shifting into his Dark Wyvern form, breathing out white steam.
Rugard stared at the large demon Infront of him. No matter how much he thought about it, he still couldn't get used to Su Pings, large, true form.
Several animalistic cries began going off from different areas in the village when the livestock saw Su Ping's towering figure that stood higher than any village building.
Su Pings size was too big for him to easily maneuver his way around the village without causing some chaos, so he opted to have the undead help him gather the livestock throughout the village.
The animals were filled with dread as several undead broke down their enclosures and captured them before dragging them all towards the frightening creature within the village.
Su Ping devoured several creatures in single mouthfuls, blood and meshed flesh dripping down his jaws.
Rugard was silent as he watched the horrific scene. The animals cries became louder and louder as they struggled to escape the undead but non of them could amount to anything, in the end, the village was engulfed in a horrific melody of crunching bones, splattering blood, dropping flesh and beastly cries of terror and anguish.
After several minutes of gruesome gorging, Su Ping finally sighed before shifting back into his draconian form. He picked up a blood stained fleece of a sheep and used it to wipe his mouth before flinging it aside.
' Even after eating so much, I still didn't undergo the evolution to adolescent stage...'
' Looks like the requirements for evolving within a Dark wyvern, are far more higher than when I was a Dark drake. Or is it that since I'm level 2 now, Lvl 1's aren't going to cut it?' Su Ping didn't know which was right, in the end he decided to put the matter aside for now.
Since they were done with the only thing that had been holding them back, Su Ping and Rugard went to where the remaining undead where stationed to receive the stuff they'd stolen.
Su Ping stared at the 5 carts, 4 of them were filled with goods and resources, all 5 being pulled by 2 horses each.
" And how do you propose we manage them all without multiple coachman." Su Ping asked.
" There's nothing to worry about, the undead can manage the carts on their own." Rugard said, with an order, he had 2 skeleton solider's each, man a respective cart.
' So in the Lion heart Kingdom, it's not unnatural for undead to be used as labour staff?' Su Ping seemed skeptical by the idea.
" I know what your thinking but yes, it's not strange for undead to be used in the open. Dark mages aren't hated here in the Lion heart Kingdom but that doesn't mean we're welcomed in with open arms either."
"Though in some cases, A necromancer dark mage like myself are actually sought after by most because of the versitile nature of our undead."
" If that's the case, then why do you insist on coming along with us."
" Didn't you hear what I said before, because of reasons known to me, I became a wanted dark mage..." Rugard sighed as if recalling a memory he wished he could've undone.
" To avoid attracting too much attention, The rest can be resummoned at a later time." Rugard snapped his fingers and the wandering wraiths he summoned, as well as skeleton solider's, all vanished with a flash of light.
" How did you do that?" Su Ping asked, his voice lased with genuine curiosity.
" Oh? Looks like the great and mighty dragon king can only copy others but can't dispell spells." Rugard smirked at Su Ping with a teasing gaze.
" Should I invoke the contract..." Su Ping said as his expression darkened, his face showing his annoyance.
" Go ahead. I actually don't know how. To use a spell you must comprehend how it works, how to cast it etcetera etcetera..."
" You'll need to learn how everything about it works. But since you didn't do any of that, I'm afraid I can't help you."
' I just need to comprehend how it works?' Su Ping ignored the humans obvious taunting and tried imagining an undead summoning vanishing.
The undead skeleton solider, sensed it's summoners gaze yet it couldn't understand why it's summoner was staring at it so intently.
