Ming Yao listened to Su Ping's orders and brought the captain over. Staring face to face with the dark scaled demon. The captain felt as if some sort of invisible pressure was pressing down on his shoulders.
" Do you know any healing magic or skills?" Su Ping asked.
" Will you let me go if I tell yo–" The captain pleaded but
" Arrgh!!" The captain screamed when Ming Yao suddenly cut off his left arm in one swift motion.
" Watch your tongue! Only answer when my master tells you to. Your a feeble human yet you dare try to converse with him so casually?!" Ming Yao's dead eyed gaze forced the captain to grit his teeth in fear, no daring to let out a peep though the injury hurt like hell.
Su Ping couldn't help but admire the captain, even when dealt such a life changing injury, the man didn't voice out any complaints, instead adapting to the situation without hesitation.
" I know a little healing magic but even I can't heal the boys wounds." The captain stuttered in fear. Hearing him, Lucinda almost lost all hope.
If the captain couldn't heal her brother, then didn't that mean he would simply die here then?
" Show me the healing spell." Su Ping said.
The captain didn't know if the demon was just stubborn and didn't want tis summoning to end up becoming a waste of time.
The captains remaining hand hovered over Lucius as a magical glow enveloped his hand his hands. The captain didn't dare to pull any tricks, after all, his life was in their hands. He used up most of his magical power to heal the light wounds on Lucius's body but even then, he knew he couldn't stop the boys internally bleeding. Nor could he heal up the deep sword wounds on his body.
To everyone's surprise, as the captain stepped back while gasping for air due to exhaustion. The darkness below their feet, formed a tendril that touched Lucius's body, which enshrouded his figure with darkness.
Lucinda was skeptical but chose to remain. The captain on the other hand was curious as to what the demon was trying to do.
They waited for a short while, when it seemed like it was getting close to half a minute. The darkness that enshrouded Lucius dispersed, revealing him, only this time, his clothes were only stained with blood, while his injuries had completely recovered.
" Huh? What happened." Lucius gently opened up his eyes but.
" Ahh! Demons! Don't worry big sister, I won't let them hurt you!" Lucius was stunned by the sight of Ming Yao and Su Ping.
" Little brother!" Lucinda who couldn't hold back her joy, pulled him into her embrace.
" Arck! Arck! Big sis! Your squeezing too tight, too tight!" Lucius struggled to breath. Lucinda loosened her hold but didn't let go of her little brother.
" Master, how did you do it?" Ming Yao asked Su Ping, feeling curious. Even the captain couldn't help but pay attention, after all, had the demon said that it couldn't use healing magic.
" I knew the humans skill was inadequate so I tried fussing it with a skill of mine." His explanation stunned the captain even more while Ming Yao's expression was filled with awe at her lords power. It seemed his Dark Dragon Eyes had gotten even stronger after his level up.
' I didn't expect it to work though.' Su Ping said to himself while watching the happy siblings in silence. He couldn't help but wonder when last had it been since he'd seen his parents.
" Master, is something the matter." Ming Yao stood beside Su Ping, she felt worried seeing such an expression on her master's face. Her gaze couldn't help but land on the two celebrating humans as a thought crossed her mind.
' Could the master be missing his own brethren.... Is that why he decided to lend them his aid even though their kind are far too weak.' Ming Yao pondered.
" No, it's nothing." Su Ping said before sighing.
" Master, what do you propose we do with the old human male." Ming Yao gestured towards the captain who suddenly turned terrified.
" Oh, I almost forgot about him." Su Ping said as his gaze landed on the captain.
" Please spare my life lord demon! I promise I won't breath a word of what happened here to anyone. Please!" The captain pleaded.
" Despicable human! You still dare to talk to my master so casually?!" Ming Yao's eye's turned livid.
" Ming Yao... don't." Su Ping stopped her just as her claws were a centimeter away from the captains throat.
Su Ping approached the man before picking up his severed arm and reattaching it back to his shoulder, then healing it back in place with his magic.
The captain stared at Su Ping in shock but Su Ping ignored him and reached towards his neck to pull out a locket.
He opened the locket to see the image of the captain standing while raising a young girl upwards while a young boy happily clung to his neck. Su Ping didn't seem to spot any other people in the image.
" These are your children?" Su Ping asked. The captain could only nod.
" Lord demon, please, if you let me go, I promise to offer you anything you desire, anything!"
" lord demon don't listen to him!" Lucinda's harsh voice was suddenly heard from behind, her eyes were filled with burning hatred as she glared at the captain.
" Ming Yao..." Su Ping said again. Lucinda who saw him glancing behind her, froze when she turned her head to meet Ming Yao's fierce look, her claws inches from Lucinda's neck, as if she would've killed just now if not for Su Ping speaking up.
Lucius was terrified, laying in Lucinda's lap, his eyes directly met Ming Yao's bloodthirsty eyes which sent a shiver down his spine. He and Lucinda were once again reminded that they were dealing with demons, not humans.
From the looks of it, the dark scaled demon seemed to have answered her summons on a whim, which meant that he wouldn't mind killing them all and returning to the Abyss if that could lighten it's boredom.
