Yandere Levelling in Her World

Chapter 118: Weak Angel

Ren didn't argue. He knew that look in Luxy's eyes, the calm before a storm that didn't need witnesses. So when she said, "Go back," he did exactly that.

He stepped back, boots crunching over burning wood and shattered glass. The monkey spirit stood a few meters away, its golden fur shimmering faintly under the flickering streetlights.

The heavy iron pole in its hands rested on its shoulder like a reaper's scythe. Even at a glance, Ren could feel the pressure radiating from it — not divine, but wild, chaotic, untamed.

The Great Sage grinned, baring fanged teeth. Then, in a blur of motion, it kicked off the cracked pavement with a laugh that sounded like it was having fun.

The ground exploded beneath it.

Ren's vision blurred for a moment as the monkey's figure turned into a streak, accelerating toward Luxy with terrifying speed.

Luxy didn't move.

She simply turned her head slightly, her golden eye and blonde hair glowing faintly while her remaining wing unfurled like a blade of light.

The iron pole came down with a thunderous boom.

Luxy raised her wing.

The impact rang like a church bell splitting apart. Sparks and feathers flew in every direction as metal met divine bone. The sheer force of the blow sent ripples through the air, toppling nearby walls and shattering windows. Yet Luxy didn't flinch, she held her ground.

"You're not the Great Sage Equal to Heaven," Luxy muttered, her voice steady, cold. "You're just a cheap imitation."

She twisted her wrist, her fingers tracing the air. Light rippled around her wing, and with a single flick, she swung.

The air split.

The imitation Great Sage went flying backward, smashing through the wall of a nearby building. The structure collapsed on impact, a deafening roar echoing through the block as dust billowed up into the night sky.

Ren shielded his face with his arm, his coat whipping in the shockwave.

When the dust cleared, Luxy was still standing exactly where she had been, her single wing folded halfway, dim light bleeding from its edges like dying embers.

Lan Ning's mouth fell open. "That's… impossible."

Her fingers trembled. She had always believed the Great Sage was her power's hidden trump card — a spirit sealed and waiting for the right person who was her.

She had spent years training, preparing for the day she would summon him to prove herself worthy of the Lan name and overshadow real Lan children. And now, in a single clash, her trump card had been sent crashing through concrete like a broken toy.

No.

It couldn't end like this.

Her throat tightened. Her vision blurred with rage and desperation.

"Get up!" she screamed, voice cracking. "Great Sage, get up!"

The rubble shifted. Then a low growl echoed from within the smoke.

The imitation stood again.

Cracks lined its fur-covered body, golden sparks leaking from within like magma under the skin. Its eyes were no longer calm — they burned with something unstable, something that wasn't entirely conscious.

Lan Ning bit her lip hard enough to draw blood. Her fingers trembled as she raised her hands in a seal.

"Great Sage… unlock — Heavenly Aura!"

A surge of power erupted from the imitation's chest.

The street shattered. Dust turned to wind.

Its golden fur now blazed like molten metal, and its aura flared outward, shaking the air like thunder. Lan Ning started laughing high, hysterical laughter that bordered on madness.

"This is it!" she screamed. "You're finished, woman! This is the end for both of you!"

Ren's heart dropped. "Luxy…"

Luxy didn't even look worried. Her eyes stayed on the imitation. Her expression was unreadable not fear, not excitement. Just faint disappointment.

"You really are useless," she said quietly. "The real Great Sage would never let himself be summoned by a human much less take words of a human and follow them."

The imitation roared in fury.

Then it vanished.

In an instant, the pole came down again, faster, heavier, louder. The impact lit up the street like lightning.

Luxy met it with her bare hand this time.

Her fingers wrapped around the metal mid-swing.

The ground caved under her feet, cracks spreading like a spiderweb for several meters. The force alone would've crushed a tank, but Luxy didn't budge. Her one wing unfurled behind her, glowing faintly, light particles shedding like falling petals.

She raised her knee and slammed it into the monkey's chest.

The imitation shot backward again but this time, it twisted midair, slamming its pole into the ground to stop its momentum. Sparks scattered as it launched back at her, this time aiming higher, swinging wide, faster than before.

Luxy blocked again, her forearm catching the strike.

Then she twisted, slammed her elbow into the monkey's jaw, and sent it spinning upward into the air.

"Come," Luxy said softly.

Her wings flared, and she shot upward after it.

The battle left the ground behind. In a single instant, both of them broke through the air, disappearing into the clouds. A thunderclap followed as their collision echoed through the night.

From the ground, Ren could only see flashes, bursts of light and golden streaks cutting through the dark sky. Every clash sounded like an explosion, every shockwave tearing apart more of the surrounding buildings.

In the air, it was chaos.

The imitation swung its pole like a raging storm, each strike leaving a golden trail that split the clouds apart. Luxy weaved between them, her one wing propelling her with bursts of dim light. Each movement she made left glowing afterimages that looked like falling feathers.

Their weapons, light and iron clashed again and again, lighting up the sky.

Luxy's fist slammed into the imitation's ribs, sending it crashing downward. It hit the ground, carving a crater into the street. But before the dust settled, the imitation was already leaping back up, roaring, pole spinning at blinding speed.

Luxy descended slowly, her long hair fluttering, eyes narrowing as she raised her hand.

"You don't even understand what you're imitating, you're supposed to be the most annnoying person to fight because every single second Great Sage adapt to his or her enemy...but you just stay same." she said, voice echoing faintly through the air. "Power without soul is nothing but noise."

The imitation landed in front of her, swinging wildly.

Luxy dodged the first strike. The second grazed her shoulder, tearing a few feathers from her wing. She winced slightly but didn't falter. When the third came, she ducked low, palm glowing faintly, and drove it straight into the imitation's abdomen.

A shockwave erupted.

The imitation howled as its golden aura flickered violently.

Luxy twisted her hand and unleashed a pulse of light. The blast sent the imitation flying again, crashing into a half-collapsed building that immediately crumbled.

Lan Ning screamed, "No! Get up! I command you to fight!"

But the imitation didn't rise.

It was breathing heavily, cracks spreading deeper across its skin. Golden aura poured out uncontrollably, melting the street beneath it.

Luxy landed gently on the ground, her bare feet touching the cracked asphalt with her clothes fully burned leaving her fully naked. She looked up at the imitation, her expression softer now.

"You were forced into this," she murmured. "You should've stayed sleeping."

The imitation stirred. Slowly, it pushed itself up on its pole. Its head tilted, and for a moment, it almost looked… confused. Then it let out a guttural roar and leapt again.

Luxy sighed."So be it."

She raised her hand, light gathering around her fingertips. The dim aura surrounding her wing suddenly flared brighter not pure white like before, but pale gold tinged with gray. The light of a fallen angel, imperfect yet resolute.

She vanished.

In less than a blink, she appeared above the imitation and struck downward. The impact sent a column of light shooting into the sky.

Ren shielded his face again as the blast wave rolled over him, knocking him back a few steps. The clouds above twisted, parting like torn cloth, revealing the moon for the first time that night even though it was supposed to be a moonless night.

When the light faded, Luxy stood in the center of a massive crater. Her breath was shallow. Her body trembled slightly. The imitation lay sprawled at the edge, motionless. Its fur had lost its glow; its pole had cracked in half.

Lan Ning stared in disbelief. Her lips moved soundlessly.

"N-no… no, that's not possible…"

Luxy looked at her calmly. "Just so you know that is not the real Wukong," she said, voice quiet but cutting. "That was just a fraction of his power not even 0.01 of his power burrowed or probably stolen and using that a imtiation was made."

Lan Ning stumbled backward, falling to her knees. "Shut up! You don't know anything! I was supposed to be the one — the heir to the Lan throne, the one who would show them—"

"Is that so?" Luxy said simply. "Without your summon you're nothing."

Lan Ning froze.

Her breath hitched. She looked around at the shattered streets, the flickering lights, the motionless imitation lying like a corpse and for the first time, she looked small.

The imitation's body twitched once more. Luxy turned her gaze toward it. Its golden eyes met hers one last time. Then, slowly, the glow faded entirely, and the body crumbled into dust.

Lan Ning screamed not out of rage this time, but loss. The dust scattered in the wind, leaving nothing behind but the broken staff.

Luxy stood silently, her expression unreadable. Then she slowly folded her one wing back, the light around it dimming until it was no brighter than candlelight.

Ren approached cautiously. "Luxy… you okay?"

She gave him a faint smile. "I've gotten lot weaker."

"If that's called weak, I don't know what I am."

"It's not that Ren. That thing is not even as powerful as Lan Xinyue yet It took me several strikes to finish that."

He looked at the crater again, then at the shattered skyline where the two had fought. "That was like watching gods fight."

Luxy chuckled softly. "He wasn't a god. Just a imtiation of one. And I'm not an angel anymore."

Ren looked at her. The faint light from her wing flickered, reflected in his eyes. "You are one to me. You saved me several times."

She didn't reply.

She just looked up at the moon, her expression somewhere between sorrow and serenity. "Can we really defeat my mother?"

Ren didn't know how to answer her question, so he just hugged her naked frame as he promised Luxy. "I will do everything to show her what it means to face Luxy's wrath."

The city was quiet now. People had started to peek out from the places they were hiding, drawn by the light and noise. Distant sirens echoed faintly, getting closer.

Lan Ning still sat on the ground, silent, staring at her trembling hands. The arrogance in her eyes was gone replaced by something else. Fear. Maybe understanding.

Luxy looked at her one last time. "Should we kill her?" she asked softly but ren shook his head. "I'm quite interested in her power. Let's see wait and see if she will be our enemy or friend."

Then she turned and walked away with Ren to Daichi who was still burned, but Ren had a plan to heal him.
