The ruined city of Anarnia had once been the jewel of these lands. Now it was a graveyard riddled with all manners of undead creatures.
The wind carried the smell of smoke and rot as the earth trembled beneath the march of thousands of undead.
The once-grand marble walls were half-buried under corpses and fire. Crumbling statues of ancient figures stared blankly across the chaos, as if mourning the living who fought and fell beneath them.
Everywhere, there was only war.
[World Event Active: The Undead Uprising]
[Objective: Eliminate all Undead Commanders in Anarnia]
[Warning: Enemies will scale with player levels.]
Light flared. Blades clashed. Magic screamed through the air.
The entire battlefield burned with fury and mana.
"Frontline, hold steady!" a voice roared through the player channels. "Archers, target the Bone Mages! Healers, prioritize the tanks. Don't let them drop!"
A guild known as Silver Fang had formed a defensive wall at the northern square, dozens of shield bearers locking into formation. Behind them, fire and lightning spells exploded into the horde of corpses swarming through the streets.
The undead came in every shape and horror imaginable — Zombie Knights in rusted armor dragging broken swords, Bone Beasts crawling on six limbs, Corpse Mages floating above the ground with hollow skulls for heads.
Each time one fell, two more rose in its place.
"Dammit, they keep respawning!" a player shouted.
"They're using the graves!" another yelled back.
"Destroy the summoning stones!"
A group of mages redirected their attacks, sending waves of fire toward the glowing red stones scattered across the battlefield. One by one, the stones shattered, releasing bursts of black smoke.
The horde slowed, but only slightly.
There were simply too many.

At the southern side, a different banner flew — black and crimson, shaped like twin blades crossing through a circle.
It belonged to The Parliament, led by their guild master, Sword_SaintX.
He stood at the front lines, his twin swords glowing faintly, cutting through the undead like a storm through tall grass.
Every swing of his blade was precise, clean, and devastating.
His movements were so fast that most players could barely see the arcs of light he left behind.
Beside him fought the other members of The Parliament, their attacks complementing each other in perfect synchronization.
"Left flank is collapsing!" someone shouted.
Sword_SaintX didn't even look. "I see it."
He dashed forward, crossing several meters in a blink.
His blades slashed in an "X" pattern, cleaving through a row of zombie knights. Their bodies crumbled instantly, dissolving into light.
[Critical Hit - 535 Damage!]
[Combo Chain x14!]
"Keep your lines!" Sword_SaintX commanded.
"Everybody, regroup and advance twenty meters. We clear this section now!"
"Yes, leader!"
The guild moved as one. Each player trusted his commands without hesitation. Their coordination and discipline turned the tide wherever they went.
Sword_SaintX smirked as he flicked blood off his sword. "Guess the undead aren't so tough when we stop playing nice."
His eyes were already fixed on the east, where a darker energy pulsed in the distance.

Meanwhile, at the eastern edge of Anarnia, a different kind of battle unfolded.
Black shadows rippled across the ground as ArashiKage, master of the Storm Shadow Guild, stood at the center of a ring of undead.
His presence was calm — eerily calm — as his cloak of living darkness fluttered behind him.
A dozen assassins and shadow users moved in sync around him, their daggers glinting faintly.
"Keep your distance from the Bone Golems," ArashiKage said, his voice low but steady. "Their explosions will wipe you if you crowd them."
As if on cue, one of the hulking undead beasts slammed its massive fists into the ground, sending waves of dust into the air. Players scattered.
"Now," ArashiKage whispered.
The shadows beneath the golem rippled — and spikes of darkness erupted upward, skewering it from below.
The creature howled before collapsing into dust.

His guild cheered briefly before another wave of undead surged toward them. This time, they were Corpse Casters — skeletal sorcerers muttering curses in ancient tongues. Their eyes glowed sickly green as they began casting area spells.
"Interrupt them!" ArashiKage ordered.
His body dissolved into smoke and reappeared behind one of the casters. A single strike to the neck — clean, silent, deadly — and the skull was rolling across the ground in minutes.
ArashiKage stood, exhaling quietly. His shadows crawled back into the earth.
All around him, players fought tooth and nail, coordinating through guild chats and voice commands. Fire met frost, light clashed with darkness, and mana surged so heavily that the air itself hummed.

Hours passed.
The streets of Anarnia were littered with bones and fading fragments of light.
Gradually, the number of undead began to thin. Every commander killed weakened the rest, and with each death, the tide receded.
By dusk, only a few stragglers remained.
Sword_SaintX wiped his blades clean and sheathed them across his back. The once-terrifying horde was now nothing more than scattered piles of ash and cracked skulls.
"Report," he said.
A Parliament officer approached, giving him a quick report of what was happening around them.
Sword_SaintX nodded. "Good."
He looked toward the sky. .
"This event's not over," Sword_SaintX muttered. "But at least, it looks like we are done here."
For the first time all day, Sword_SaintX allowed himself a small smile.

Across the city, ArashiKage walked among his guild members as they collected loot and healed the wounded. The air was quiet now, filled only with the sound of crackling fires and distant voices.
He glanced down at a broken stone tablet glowing faintly beneath the rubble. Strange runes pulsed weakly across its surface before dimming out.
He crouched, touching the dust.
"…Whatever woke the dead here," he said softly, "wasn't natural."
One of his lieutenants looked over. "Sir?"
"Nothing," ArashiKage said, standing again. "Let's move. We've done our part."
He turned toward the moonlit sky, his cloak of shadows trailing behind him as he walked.
All around Anarnia, the living began to breathe again.
The world event had not ended but for tonight, at least, they were safe.
And the dead… they had finally gone silent.
