Divine Awakening: My Game Drops Increase Infinitely

Chapter 72 : God Domain

Notifications chimed left, right, and center in response to Axton's devastating kills.

The sound was like a relentless rain of achievement bells, each one marking his overwhelming dominance over the swarm of locusts.

Only after the noise began to die down did he realize something shocking.

He had even killed the leader of the swarm, the boss monster, without knowing it.

He blinked in surprise.

"…Huh. So that's why the others fell apart so quickly."

The message log in front of him was filled with Exp gains, coins, and rewards that piled higher and higher until it almost became absurd.

Among them was one prize that caught his eye immediately — a Grade 5 gift box.

It wasn't ordinary loot by any means but his joy dimmed when he realized his current bonus couldn't push the gift box beyond grade 5.

"Tch. Painful." Axton clicked his tongue, rubbing the side of his head in mild frustration.

It wasn't often he came across something like this, and to waste the opportunity stung.

He decided it would be wiser to upgrade his bonus hit first before tampering with the gift box… but that was where the problem lay.

He didn't actually know how to upgrade the bonus hit.

So far, the only clue he had was tied to the demon realm — a place he intended to explore sooner rather than later. Still, it gnawed at him. Power was within reach, but he had no idea what step to take to grab it.

Before he could linger too long on the thought—

[+1 Level up!]

[You have gained 10 free stat points]

A grin tugged at the corner of Axton's lips.

"Finally, some progress."

The enormous amount of Exp he had gathered allowed him to skyrocket in growth.

He immediately began investing in his assets, making sure no part of his arsenal lagged behind.

His Doppelganger advanced to level 15.

His Terra Dragon surged up to level 17.

Even his newest companion, the Great Bear, was now at level 10.

Axton smirked in satisfaction. "Perfect. I'll need all of them sharp when things get serious."

The rewards didn't stop there.

After annihilating the swarm and its leader, he gained a staggering 500 reputation points and another Mythical Point that morphed into greater rewards.

[500 reputation → 50,000 reputation points.]

[1 mythical point → 100 mythical points.]

The moment his reputation surged, a world announcement echoed across New Eden.

*Ding*

[World Announcement]

[Player Khan has completed a mythical dungeon in Hell Mode. Contribution rating: 100%.]

The system's words blared across every city, every village, and every corner of the game world.

As expected, the reactions were immediate.

"This guy again…"

"He soloed a mythical dungeon? In hell mode? No way."

"I thought leaving the Novice Village would slow him down, but apparently, he's still breaking records."

"Tch. Always Khan this. Khan that."

Everywhere, players buzzed with disbelief, envy, and admiration.

His name had once again been carved into the global stage.

Axton, however, frowned.

*Ding*

[You have completed the mythical event.]

"…Huh? That's it?" He tilted his head in disbelief.

After all that buildup.

After all the struggle.

The so-called mythical event turned out to be just killing a swarm of locusts?

"No way," he muttered. "There has to be more! That can't be it."

He clenched his fists in frustration, waiting for the system to prove him wrong.

And it did.

[Evaluating your contribution to the dungeon raid.]

[Contribution score: 100%]

[Distributing rewards…]

[You've gained a new skill.]

[Skill: Foresight]

Axton blinked twice, unsure he read that correctly.

"…Woah! What… the actual… fuck?"

He impatiently opened the description.

[Skill: Foresight]

[Description: Grants the ability to see into the future for five seconds in your current city. This skill is a blessing from the Goddess of Fate.]

[Limits: 0/50]

The moment his eyes scanned the description, Axton's heart skipped a beat.

"Five seconds… into the future?" He let out a low whistle.

It was an absurd cheat, plain and simple.

With such a skill, he could predict enemy attacks, dodge unavoidable strikes, even tilt entire battles in his favor before they began and the best part… there wasn't even a restriction on what kind of future he could see.

But one line stood out to him.

"Goddess of Fate?" he muttered under his breath.

"What's that supposed to mean? Is she the one behind this dungeon?"

He rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

"It does explain those flies predicting my movements. Maybe… they had this skill too."

Just as he pondered how broken [Foresight] truly was, another chime came.

*Ding*

[Skill: Foresight → Mystic Eyes of Fate]

[Description: Grants the ability to see the future for 10 seconds anywhere in New Eden. Every scenario lays bare before your divine eyes.]

[Limits: 0/1]

Axton was stunned into silence.

"…You've got to be kidding me."

Seeing ten seconds into the future, anywhere in New Eden, wasn't just powerful… it was divine.

An ability of that scale could reshape entire wars, alter the balance of kingdoms, and expose every hidden plan before it even happened.

"What sort of god… no, what sort of monster is this Goddess of Fate to hand me something like this?" His voice was laced with awe.

He couldn't fathom what he had done to deserve such a blessing.

All he had done was slaughter a swarm of insects.

Could that really be enough?

As he calmed down, possibilities bloomed in his mind.

'If I use the mystic eyes of fate… maybe I can finally locate the divine bracelet.'

It was a tantalizing thought. The kind of cheat that could make the impossible suddenly very possible.

Before he could test the idea, however, the world around him shifted.

A blinding flash enveloped him.

When his vision cleared, he was no longer in the dungeon.

Instead, he stood in a vast realm of pure white.

It stretched endlessly in all directions, empty and featureless.

Every word he spoke echoed back at him, multiplying until it thundered in his ears.

Axton's brow furrowed.

"...The hell is this place?"

He was utterly alone.

No monsters.

No allies.

No prompts guiding him forward.

It was just himself and the suffocating silence of the blank domain.

Should he move?

Should he stay?

His body grew tense as his mind raced.

*Ding*

[Welcome.]

[You have entered a God Domain.]

Axton froze, his pulse quickening.

"...God Domain?" he whispered.

For the first time since he entered New Eden, he felt a weight pressing down on him, not from monsters, not from players, but from something higher.

Something divine.

And he had no idea whether to feel honored… or terrified.
