The [Non-Entity] skill was truly broken.
It didn't just make Axton invisible.
It erased his existence entirely, as though he had never been created in the first place.
He had no form, no shadow, and no presence whatsoever.
It was the perfect ability for situations like this, when there was no other way but to phase through an obstacle.
Axton slipped through the massive barrier and materialized inside the demon armoury.
The instant he appeared, his body reformed from the nothing.
He exhaled softly. "Made it…"
He was lucky to have arrived in time, just a few seconds later and he might have found himself in an uncomfortable situation.
Axton looked around, and for a moment, he forgot to breathe.
The armoury was vast… unfathomably vast.
It stretched farther than his eyes could see, a museum of steel and blades.
Rows upon rows of weapon racks, towering stands, and ornate cases filled the space. The air thrummed faintly with power, humming with the energy of thousands of items in this place.
He had never seen anything like it before.
Weapons of every kind imaginable were displayed.
Swords, scythes, halberds, bows etc.
Some glowed faintly, others felt like they were alive.
He recognized a few of the designs from New Eden, but most were completely alien to him.
"This place…" he muttered under his breath. "It's like a treasure vault of nightmarish items.'
Everywhere he looked, there were armaments of unimaginable grade — Unique, Epic, Legendary, and even several of Mythical grades.
The sight made his fingers twitch with desire. He could feel the urge to touch them, to claim them, to see what kind of power they held.
But he forced himself to focus. He wasn't here to loot.
He was here for one thing only. The bracelet.
He could fantasize later.
Silently, Axton moved between the towering weapon racks, his steps soundless against the dark, rune-carved floor.
His eyes darted between displays until finally, in the distance, he saw what he was searching for.
A stone podium standing alone in the center of a large circular hall.
Atop it rested a small, open box.
Inside the box lay a bracelet carved with ancient runic symbols that shimmered faintly with divine energy.
The sight made Axton's heart quicken.
"That's it," he whispered.
It looked identical to the one he already possessed.
His instincts confirmed it instantly.
This was the divine bracelet he had come for.
Relief washed over him like a tide. He stepped closer, his eyes never leaving the prize.
For a brief second, he allowed himself to grin.
"Finally…" he murmured, his voice barely audible.
He reached out, fingers trembling slightly, and lifted the bracelet from its box. The moment his skin made contact, a faint golden light flared beneath the runes, and a system notification appeared before his eyes.
Axton checked the item's details and confirmed it was indeed the real thing.
With that, his most longed for mission was now a success.
Without hesitation, he slipped it into his inventory and prepared to leave.
Turning from the podium, he exhaled a quiet sigh of relief.
However, his [Stealth] skill was still on cooldown. He couldn't risk leaving just yet. The last thing he wanted was to walk into a demon patrol on his way out.
"There's still a few more minutes," he muttered, glancing around. "I'll move once stealth resets."
For now, he decided to wander through the armoury, both to kill time and to take in the marvel of the place.
The deeper he went, the more unbelievable the treasures became.
Weapons forged with dragonbone, staff radiating with elemental essence, and even relics that seemed to project the echoes of divine power.
Some of these weapons could probably level an entire city if used carelessly.
It now made sense to him how Quiala glaive was that strong.
Axton couldn't help but imagine what kind of power the demons wielded to possess such things.
"Tsk."
As Axton was feasting his eyes inside the armoury, he was completely unaware that the moment he had taken the bracelet, he triggered something.
…The alarm of the armoury.
Every weapon and artifact in the armoury was bound by magic that could sense theft.
If something was removed without proper authorization, it would send a silent signal to the guards outside and even beyond them.
The one who took it would never even notice until it was too late.
Axton, oblivious to this, continued to stroll casually through the armoury.

Meanwhile, deep within the Ox Demon Empire's central hall, the massive demon king abruptly rose from his throne.
The floor trembled beneath his hooves as his grip shattered one of the throne's stone handles.
"What did you just say?!" he thundered, his voice echoing through the chamber.
One of his aides fell to his knees, trembling. "M-My Lord, a treasure has been taken from the royal armoury!"
The king's eyes flared red, rage boiling within them. "Impossible! No one has access without my seal! Find it now!"
He rose to his full towering height, muscles bulging like boulders beneath his armor. His aura filled the hall, crushing everyone present to their knees.
"Everyone under the sound of my voice," he roared, "head to the armoury and find the thief! Bring me their head!"
Even before he finished speaking, the demons were already moving. The hall erupted into chaos as elite guards, commanders, and lesser demons stormed out in every direction. The sound of their wings and footsteps filled the corridors like an oncoming storm.
The Ox Demon King gritted his teeth, his tail slashing through the air with a crack.
'Could it be… the human invaders?'
He shook his head almost immediately. "No… impossible. A human wouldn't even know the armoury's location, much less breach its seal."
Nevertheless, the doubt lingered.
His expression hardened, fangs grinding together.
Whoever was responsible would pay in blood.

Outside the armoury, the two demon guards were already on the verge of panic.
They stood before the massive entrance gate, their hands glowing as they tried to break the spell that sealed it shut.
But no matter how much magic they poured into it, the door wouldn't budge.
At this point, they were sweating buckets, knowing full well what their fate looked like.
