In the cave inside the inheritance site, Lin Feng finally completed the teleportation array. It was an array which would require spirit stones to activate.

He didn't waste time and inserted the nodes of the array with the appropriate amount of spirit stones and activated it.

The array immediately created a small spatial tear beneath his feet and he got pulled in, when he opened his eyes, he was between trees floating a few meters above the ground.

It was random teleportation and Lin Feng was happy that he wasn't somewhere underground.

To return inside the cave he had to create another teleportation array, the range shouldn't be far from a hundred miles too, so he would have to search for a good place nearby.

He landed on a dense tree and wore his mask and robes back, before flying away to search for it.

There were no mountains nearby so he had to find a good location in the forest itself. Just as he was flying he heard a faint clanking sound.

He stopped and looked towards the direction of the sound. He decided to see what this was about.

When he came near he saw seven alive cultivators and two dead cultivators near them. Among the alive cultivators, four were from different factions, while two were from the Crimson Flame Palace and one from the Yin Yang Harmony Sect.

The two dead cultivators were from unknown factions too. It was pretty obvious what was happening here, when he looked towards the small pond he became even more sure about his guess.

There was a white lily growing alone inside it, it was giving an unnatural brilliance. It was a Soul Nourishing Lily. An early-stage grade 4 spirit herb.

There were a lot of spirit herbs of early stage inside this inheritance site so fighting for one seemed quite illogical but he could also understand their desire for this herb.

All of them were peak stage of Core Formation realm and it seemed like they had broken through recently which wasn't surprising.

They might try to break through to Soul Sea realm before the opening of the main ruin but reaching mid-stage was impossible even inside this dense spirit qi environment.

So for them entering the main ruin would depend on their resolve to take risk which could cost them their lives.

Everything could change if they got their hands on this lily, not only did it help in breakthrough to Soul Sea realm but also helped in strengthening the soul sea of the cultivator which decreased the amount of time taken to break through to mid-stage.

They didn't even need to have it created as a pill, soul-type spirit herbs were very delicate and could be consumed directly. They were easily absorbed into the body.

Not to mention creating a pill from a soul-type spirit herb was much more challenging as these herbs were really very delicate.

He looked at the group of cultivators, they were standing in a stalemate, although it seemed these cultivators from different factions tried to group together against these three cultivators from top sects. It was obvious from the way they were standing in two groups.

Lin Feng who had been moving around the inheritance site for the past few months decided it was time to visit the main ruin.

He was already very close to the center so it wasn't far from here.

In the last five months he had gone back to his cave on the small mountain only once in the first month. He just went there to meet the disciples once, it was just to show his face.

They all were present other than the person that had died. Nobody knew what had happened to that disciple, nor did anyone know about the other disciples he had killed.

Well it wouldn't affect his protectors as they wouldn't know since they wouldn't be coming to the main ruin.

After half a day he finally crossed the forest in which he spent five months. He was a little stunned looking towards the main ruin, it wasn't like other ruins he had seen, it was in fact a city with a mountain inside it.

Large walls were surrounding the city and Lin Feng didn't have any clue what they were protecting against.

There were no beasts inside the inheritance site so they weren't needed. Maybe this was a real city which the senior had brought from the real world. It was quite possible for someone of his stature.

The entrance gates of the city were closed shut but he could already see many cultivators inside the city, so it meant that entry inside the city wasn't restricted.

So why were there a few cultivators who were still standing outside the entrance? He flew a little closer and came down at the entrance...
