Upon Pearl's suggestion, everyone decided to see how much Pearl had changed. They let Pearl rest for a bit and make sure everything was fine post-evolution before leaving their outer palace to find one of the many training grounds in the White Tiger palace.

Because Pearl was not part of the White Tigers' main branch anymore after having failed, he would have to pay just as much as any other beast that wished to make use of these training grounds.

Thankfully, Bai Jingshen was present with them, allowing them to enter with not just a lower entry fee, but also a guarantee of privacy.

As soon as they entered, Pearl warmed up for a few minutes and then started attacking the training puppet in his beast form. He mostly stuck to White Tiger techniques, testing his strength for now.

At Immortal Transcendent 1st realm, Pearl was now dealing Immortal Transcendent 8th realm damage with just his Qi. That meant that after evolution, Pearl's battle power had grown to 7. Previously, it had been 6, so it wasn't that big a jump, but it was a jump nonetheless. And the improvement in strength of a single level was worth a lot when one really thought about it.

It could become the difference between life and death in the future.

Pearl turned toward Bai Jingshen and asked if they were really private. When he was given an affirmative nod, the mark of King appeared on Pearl's forehead, additional power flowing through his body.

In this next attack, the strength of his Qi reached Immortal Spirit 2nd realm. If Pearl did use an appropriate technique, it could easily reach nearly the 3rd realm.

Alex watched with a blank expression on his face. Even he could only reach the Immortal Spirit 1st realm as he was now, 2nd if he pushed it. This meant that Pearl had now somehow gained a strength beyond what Alex had.

"A battle power of 10," Alex thought, the number unfathomable to him. There was a mixture of pride and envy within him, but one more than the other.

Alex smiled in the end.

Scarlet and Whisker hardly knew what else to do but watch. Pearl's strength had baffled the two. Scarlet at least had a battle power of 4, but Whisker didn't even have that.

Whisker started to believe that he had made the right choice in not wanting to become a fighter. It would be difficult to justify being a fighter given how weak he felt after watching this.

Pearl stopped for a bit and began testing the techniques he had received from the Azure Dragon's bloodline. For a while now, he had felt his instincts trying to tell him something. Now that he gave it his attention, he could feel an understanding growing within him.

Pearl looked in the distance and merely willed it. Teleportation energy filled him in an instant, transferring him from one location to the next. When Pearl arrived at the other location, he froze there for a good few seconds, staring at the situation in surprise.

"There was no delay," Pearl said, staring at the group. "This is… incredible. I merely thought of teleporting and it happened almost instantly."

"That's the power of the blessing," Bai Jingshen said. "It likely uses a lot less intent as well."

Pearl nodded and teleported around a bit more. He quickly got a hang of it, coming to understand just how much better it was. There would be situations, such as the ones where others tried to restrict his teleportation, where the Dao would assist him a lot more. But without it, this was a lot better.

"What else did you get from your bloodline?" Bai Jingshen asked, prompting Pearl to go search into his bloodline.

There were four primary techniques that one received from the Azure Dragon's bloodline. After searching around, Pearl was surprised to find all four of them.

The Azure Dragon's Lightning Strike allowed Pearl to charge his entire body with lightning energy and shoot it at his enemy. The massive bolt of lightning did unimaginable destruction on a single target, making it one of the strongest attacks among the entire four families, tied only with the Vermilion Bird's Shard of the Primordial Sun.

The Azure Dragon's Wind Talons was an attack that caused numerous wind slashes to attack numerous enemies at once. It was the one technique that allowed the Azure Dragons to contend against numerous opponents all by themselves.

The Dance of the Azure Dragon was a mental technique that allowed the Azure Dragons to create a music with their dance that dulled the minds of their enemies.

Finally, the Azure Dragon's Verdant Binding was a technique that allowed vines, branches, and wood to grow from them, constricting their opponent in a strong bind. It was a rather strong technique if the opponent didn't have a way to dodge it or get out of it quickly.

Pearl tested each technique and couldn't help but be overjoyed at the fact that he had all four techniques. He had assumed, just like all the other Azure Dragons, that he would only receive a few of them at best. But thankfully, he was wrong.

Because Alex had created the Azure Dragon's bloodline using all bloodline elements found in the Azure Dragons' blood, the final bloodline that Pearl evolved through was one of the strongest.

Pearl was jumping in excitement by the end of the test, giving Alex a big hug in return. "It's all thanks to you, brother," he said. "Without you, I wouldn't have any of it."

Alex smiled, patting him back. "I'm just happy that you're happy."

"I should improve my bloodline soon too," Scarlet said. "I hope the matriarch leaves her closed cultivation soon."

"She can stay there for much longer," Alex said. "I doubt I will have the time to help you anytime soon."

The decision had to be made at any time now, so now was as good a time as any.

"In one month, we leave for the Sun's Talon realm."
