Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1104: 1101: Forging (4)

As Corey watched the dismantling of these four weapons and a pair of growth gloves that any Immortal would desire, he could not help but wonder if he was being too mad in what he envisioned for his weapon.

When Corey thought of all the abilities he wanted for his weapon, he did not blindly choose those abilities.

Making his weapon to have those abilities was not an easy feat, and Corey knew this, but he had a way of getting what he wanted.

For the shape shifting effect of his weapon, he planned on using the Dawnsplit Fang.

The Dawnsplit Fang had the ability to transform into a dagger, a short sword, or a whip.

To have an understanding and an idea of how to make his future weapon to be able to shapeshift, he needed to thoroughly study the Dawnsplit Fang.

He needed to know why the Dawnsplit Fang was able to transform into another weapon.

Was it because of the materials that were used in the creation of the Dawnsplit Fang?

Was it because of a special rune that made the Dawnsplit Fang to have this effect?

Or was it because of something else entirely?

Corey asked himself these questions when he began studying all his weapons, and he realized that it was a result of a unique metal and a formation.

The metal was called a shapeshifting metal. Just like its name, it was a metal that could shapeshift into object by a blacksmith as long as the blacksmith had a lot of knowledge regarding what he or she wanted the metal to transform to.

The shapeshifting metal was an extremely rare metal. However, it was not so sought for by many powerful individuals.

And the reason for this was because not many people had the ability, time, and energy to try and master one weapon.

A swordsman who has devoted his entire life to the path of the sword would not want his weapon to be able to transform into a dagger or a spear.

It was not feasible to many individuals which was why the shapeshifting metal despite being rare was not sought by so many people.

As for the rune, it was a transformation rune that allowed the owner of the Dawnsplit Fang to instinctively choose which of the engraved forms he or she wanted.

Both the metal and the formation were crucial in allowing the Dawnsplit Fang to shapeshift into other forms, and Corey was able to get both the formation and the shapeshifting metal.

He got the formation over a year ago through his Eyes of Omniscience. As for the shapeshifting metal, he got it from dismantling the Dawnsplit Fang.

Corey still planned on making changes to the shapeshifting metal and the formation so that it would be better suited for him.

Aside from the shapeshifting ability, he also wanted several other abilities, and he had his ways of getting them for his weapon.

He wanted to be able to increase the length and weight of his weapon, and this was not a minor or easy ability to get in the slightest.

He would never have wanted this ability if he had not seen it in the Ancient Spear.

After Corey removed 80% of the seals of the Ancient Spear, he was intrigued by the abilities the spear possessed.

It had abilities like increased piercing power, a high affinity for lightning, nigh-indestructibility, andd the ability to manipulate its weight and length.

There were more, but Corey had no plans in delving into that.

It was because of the Ancient Spear Corey had the idea of having such an ability, and Corey had been thoroughly studying the Ancient Spear for years now.

And as expected, his efforts bore fruit. But he was slightly surprised by what he found out at the end of the day.

The manipulation of the Ancient Spear's weight and length was a result of the metal and the formation engraved on it and inside of it.

Back then, he was surprised when Tessa told him she recognized the metal and the spear. He had asked her if she recognized both just in case she did, and she did.

She knew the metal, the spear, and even the owner of the spear.

According to her, the spear was owned by a god called The Lightning Spear God, and the Lightning Spear God was not a man but a woman.

A very powerful woman that was extremely close to the realm beyond the True God realm.

Tessa had nothing but praises for her, and Corey was also able to learn more about the Lightning Spear God.

However, that was not what mattered at the moment. According to Tessa, the metal that was used by the Lightning Spear God to make her spear to grow infinitely was called Compliant Gold or Compliant Golden Hoop by the gods of the universe.

It was an extremely rare metal, and wars were fought over it once enough of it was found.

The Compliant Gold was a metal that was alive, very responsive to intent, able to shrink and grow without breaking its density, and it was nigh-indestructibile.

It was a metal Tessa believed to have originated from outside their universe, and Corey believed it too.

Aside from the Compliant Gold, the formation on the Ancient Spear was an important reason for the spear's ability to change its weight and length.

And the formation was an extremely complex formation he could not grasp. It was called "As You Wish."

It was a formation he was not able to fully grasp even after all these years. It sounded simple on the surface but it was not.

It was a formation that allowed the wielder to transmit his intent and Will to the Ancient Spear, and the stronger a person's Will was, the greater the resonance and response of the Compliant Gold.

There was more to the "As You Wish" formation, but Corey could not understand all of it. Maybe if it were Pamela, she would, but Corey knew that he could not replicate the formation no matter how much he tried, so he stored it separately unlike the formation on the Dawnsplit Fang.

Before getting numerous blueprints and also the method to craft growth items from the Silver Elves, one of the methods Corey came up with in the past was to completely study and understand his own weapons and armors.
