Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 1122: 1119: Insect!

Corey was not surprised by the appearance of a god, but he didn't expect that the voice of a god would contain so much power.

It was not surprising if one thought about it. A god was an unfathomable being even to Immortals, and who said a mortal could listen to the true voice of a god with ease?

Corey knew this but he also knew that if the god wanted, he could control the power in his voice. He could speak while minimizing the power in his voice so as to not hurt him because he was a mortal.

However, the god did not care about him in the slightest.

If he was not strong enough and died from hearing a fraction of the god's true voice, the god would not care in the slightest.

The god raised an eyebrow when he saw that Corey was alright after hearing his true voice. Although it was a fraction of his true voice because he was possessing an incarnation, he could not use all his powers, even his true voice.

"Hmm. You're not dead."

The god spoke with his true voice again, but this time around, Corey did not even flinch at the god's true voice.

The god's eyes flashed with surprise. When he first spoke, Corey clenched his teeth and veins could be seen on his neck. However, there was no such reaction in Corey this time around.

What the god didn't know was that the reason why his true voice had worked on Corey was because Corey was not prepared for it.

His mind had passive defenses that could protect him from many mind attacks of even a Tier 7 or a Tier 8.

However, once he was actively defending himself, a mere fraction of a god's true voice could no longer affect him.

"You-"

The god stopped speaking and looked to his right. A frown could be seen on his face.

Space rippled in the skies above, and in the blink of an eye, thirteen figures appeared.

The moment these thirteen figures appeared, the Black Sea violently trembled and waves churned on the surface of the Black Sea.

The clouds in the skies also darkened, and the sky emitted different hues.

Thirteen gods appeared above the Black Sea and looked at Corey with different gazes.

The appearance of the thirteen gods put immense weight on New Earth as a whole, and it placed even more weight on Corey who was the subject of the gazes of thirteen gods.

However, despite being under the gaze of thirteen gods, Corey's expression was extremely calm and unfazed.

His breathing, his heart, his gaze were extremely calm as he looked back at the incarnations of the thirteen gods.

"This is the mortal?" A god spoke, and just like the first god, he also used a fraction of his true voice.

But Corey's expression remained the same.

"He's the one. His aura is the same and the weapon is in his hands."

A female god spoke, also with her true voice, and Corey's expression was still the same.

She raised an eyebrow in surprise and intrigue.

"I noticed that he was fine ever after hearing the God of Martial Arts and the Storm God's true voice. I thought he was faking it or I somehow saw wrong. But turns out he's not faking it."

The goddess's lips curled up slightly, and a flash of interest flashed in her eyes.

"Mortal. Answer me. How are you able to withstand the true voices of not just one god, but three gods? How are you able to withstand my true voice?" The goddess spoke once again with her true voice, and Corey felt his mind being attacked by the goddess's true voice.

The power in her voice was more powerful than when she first spoke, but Corey did not even flinch despite the increased power in her voice.

"Ohh. You really are interesting, mortal. I-"

"Goddess of Ice. We didn't come here for the boy. We came for the weapon."

The Goddess of Ice was cut off by another god, and the Goddess of Ice scoffed.

"Old man, you're a God of Blacksmiths. Of course YOU didn't come for the boy but the weapon he crafted."

The God of Blacksmiths did not refute the Goddess of Ice words. Instead, his attention was completely on Primus who was in Corey's hands.

"Mortal insect. You have no right to hold or even touch such a masterpiece. Give it to me and cut off the arm you're using to hold it, and I'll spare you from suffering a life worse than death."

Corey calmly looked at the God of Blacksmiths, then he tilted his head slightly.

"And who said you have the right to even breathe in the same space as Primus?"

The God of Blacksmith's eyes flashed with fury and he coldly laughed.

"Primus? Primus? Primus?! You unworthy mortal insect dare to name it?! HOW DARE YOU?! Do you know what you've done?!"

Corey calmly raised an eyebrow despite the overbearing weight and changes to the world due to the god's fury.

"I created Primus. So why can't I name him? Primus is a boy, not an 'it' by the way. Get it right."

The gods and the God of Blacksmiths were extremely stunned when they heard Corey's words.

A mortal talking back to a god?

They couldn't believe it

Utterly incomprehensible!

"Why do I find myself liking this boy? I want him for myself."

"Back off, snake. You better know what's good for you." The Goddess of Ice scowled and glared at the Goddess of Serpents, causing the Goddess of Serpents to chuckle.

"Little girl. You should know better that I always get what I want."

The Goddess of Ice was about to snap back at the Goddess of Snake's words, but the God of Blacksmith suddenly released a loud laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! A MERE MORTAL INSECT DARES TO INSULT ME?!"

"A MERE MORTAL?!"

"HAHAHAHA! YOU WILL DIE INSECT!"
