As the sun began to set on the third day after the Heavens unleashed its fury on New Earth, Corey who was laying on a bed in the Forge slowly opened his eyes.

The sight of a metallic ceiling appeared in his vision, and at first it was blurry, but it eventually became clear.

He blinked and looked at the ceiling with a blank gaze, then a few seconds later, he looked to his right.

He saw the familiar work bench and work equipment of the Forge. He stared at the equipment for some seconds before he raised his right arm.

He saw that it was bandaged, and when he looked at other parts of his body, he realized that nearly every part of his body was bandaged.

'I really damaged my body, huh.'

A wry smile appeared on his lips, then he released a soft sigh.

He could not remember the last time he ever suffered such grievous injuries that left him unconscious.

'I think the last time I went unconscious after a battle was when I fought the bastards from the Temple of Flames.'

'That was such a long time ago... And on that day, I lost and fell unconscious. But this time around... I won.'

'I've become a lot stronger haven't I?'

A light smile appeared on his lips, then he looked to his left.

He saw Pamela sitting in a meditative position with her eyes closed. Runes of different colors swirled around her, and with each breath she took, the runes experienced a change.

As Corey stared at her, he was lost in the beauty of her face and shape of her body. No thought appeared in his mind as he stared at her, but he just could not help but stare at her.

A minute later, Pamela's left eye twitched and she opened her eyes and looked at Corey with a slight narrow of her eyes.

"Are you done staring?"

Corey blinked with a blank expression, then he shook his head slightly.

"No."

Pamela's lips twitched, and she had the urge to smack the shit out of Corey.

"I wonder if all that energy you absorbed has affected your brain, cause you weren't like this before."

Corey glanced at her, then he looked at her eyes.

They looked normal, almost like her eyes were not unique, but this was all an illusion Corey could see through.

He could see her true eyes... Her silver eyes with the mark of Infinity.

They were utterly beautiful and mesmerizing to look into.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with me. I'm just appreciating beauty."

Pamela scoffed and stood.

"Yeah. There's definitely something wrong with your brain. I don't think I properly healed your brain. Let me set it right."

Pamela gave a devilish smile while raising the sleeves of her right arm, and golden healing runes swirled around her arm.

With her smile and the threatening aura she radiated, she looked like a demonic healer.

Corey smiled lightly. "Don't worry. I'm all good."

Pamela approached him, and with the same devilish smile, she grabbed his chin and looked straight into his eyes.

"You're certain?"

Corey nodded slightly with a wry smile and a drop of sweat on the side of his head.

"Good."

Pamela stared into his eyes, and a complicated light flashed in her eyes for a moment before she left him.

The moment she did, a voice called out.

"Papa!"

"Papa!"

Corey and Pamela turned to the entrance of the Forge, and they saw Primus and Prima enter.

Although Pamela should have been used to it, it was still strange seeing a walking armor holding a glass rod.

Not only could both the armor and the weapon move on their own, they could talk.

'Their voice is what unsettles me. They sound like kids... Extremely powerful and terrifying kids.'

As Pamela had this thought, Corey had a surprised expression when he saw Prima and Primus.

"Primus? Prima?"

Woosh!

Primus flew out of Prima's hand and instantly appeared in front of Corey.

"Papa! You're finally awake!"

Corey blinked and nodded slightly as he looked at Primus who was moving from side to side.

Corey could sense Primus' joy and relief, and he could not help but smile lightly.

He slowly sat and rested his back on the headrest and wall, but the moment he did this, Prima suddenly hugged him.

"Oof."

Corey felt a stinging pain in his insides, and he hissed softly.

"I was afraid, Papa. I was scared you were not going to make it. I'm sorry I failed to protect you."

Corey looked at Prima who was hugging him, and although it was a strange sight seeing an armor hug a man made out of flesh and blood, Corey smiled warmly at Prima.

He patted her back.

"Don't worry about it. You did well."

"Hmph."

Primus suddenly scoffed.

"You're such a baby. Who do you think Papa is? A weakling like that could never kill Papa."

Prima suddenly let go of Corey and glared at Primus.

"Who's a baby?! You're the immature one! You always want to fight, fight, fight!"

Primus shook to the sides multiple times, almost like it was shaking its head.

"And you always want to stay beside Papa like a baby. Grow up."

Prima pointed her finger at Primus angrily. "We're always meant to be around Papa! That's our duty and destiny!"

Primus moved closer to Prima and also 'pointed' at his sister.

"I know, but you're still a baby. I almost died listening to you mumbling for days about Papa. "Is Papa alright?" "Will he be angry at me?" "I failed him." "I want to kill myself."... I almost went crazy listening to your shitty talk!"

Prima trembled furiously as Primus mocked her and exposed all the embarrassing things she said.

"You! You! You! Primussss!!! I'll kill you!!!" She roared.

Primus scoffed. "Try it little sis who's a big baby."

Golden lightning crackled across Prima's body, and she said with an extremely cold voice.

"I'm more mature than you, so I'm the older one."

Primus scoffed and golden lightning also crackled across his body.

"Weren't you born a few days after me? You're younger than me, so accept it lil sis."
