The Martial Unity

Chapter 3696: Protocol Abyss

[And so it has begun.] Nova watched the battle from afar.

She had predicted that there was a very high chance that the Kandrian Empire would deploy the Martial Artist known as the Omni-Martial to fight against the Suneater. Almost no other Martial Artist would even be able to pose a problem to the giant giant. Their attacks would simply become meaningless in the face of a titanic lifeform.

[With that, I have managed to tie up the top combat asset of the Panamic Alliance.]

The forces of the Panamic Alliance had been extremely stretched, dealing with enemies across the entire globe. The allies of the Panamic Alliance had also been tied up with corresponding enemies. A tight deadlock at each and every single battlefield across the entire world.

There were nearly a dozen major battlefronts across the entire world and many dozens of minor battlefields involving lesser forces around the entire world.

Three major battlefronts were in the Great Nam Ocean near the Kandrian Empire, featuring the giants, some portion of the tekvore army, and the Evolutionary Army.

There were several major battlefields inside other continents, like between the West Moridian Alliance and the Evolutionary Army inside Moridia. There was also the anti-Panama Faction that had formed within Kiriket that waged war against Lord Vakratunda's Faction.

Within Sirinwel, there was a battle between the Bournyvrne Empire and the recalcitrant dwarven states that had sided with NOVA.

And then, of course, there were the battles that NOVA herself faced.

North of Acherialis was Sentinel Island, home to none other than the Sentinels and their leader, Sentinel Prime, who had formed an alliance with the Panamic Alliance.

To the west of Acherialis was the Kiriket Front, where she faced invasions led by none other than Lord Vakratunda himself, who had decided to replace Amare after she returned to the Panamic Alliance.

The two warfronts had been the biggest thorn in her side, impeding her ability to mount an effective invasion against the Kandrian Empire.

[Now is the time.]

It was the moment she had been waiting for for an entire year.

The moment when the Panamic Alliance was at its most vulnerable.

She activated a series of protocols.

[Protocol Abyss]

[Protocol Chimera]

RUMBLE!!!

In North Acherialis, a war waged between the tekvores and the sentinels. The war had similar themes on either side, with one side filled with tekvore pathwalkers with cybernetic bodies and the other side filled with sentinel pathwalkers with large cybernetic bodies.

RUMBLE!

"ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!" One tekvore commander bellowed. "Do not let them advance to Acherialis! Do not let them advance to Greater Tekvoria! Do not let them advance to our goddess NOVA!"

The tekvores fought fiercely against their larger enemies.

Each sentinel could fight against three tekvores, on average. Even if sentinels weren't as large as their giant ancestors, they were still much bigger than tekvores and could fight multiple tekvores due to their larger enemies.

Of course, tekvores could easily compensate with much greater numbers. Acherialis was much larger than Sentinel Island, making the tekvore army that faced off against their northern cousins much more numerous.

This resulted in asymmetric war, as far as numbers went, yet a war that was somehow even.

The tekvores gritted their teeth as they fought with grim expressions against their enemies. It wasn't pleasant to be reminded of how powerful sentinels were, and how powerful their genes were. Sentinels had the strengths of tekvores, but none of the weaknesses due to their giant heritage.

Their bodies were much greater in volume, allowing for much greater technology to be spread across their entire bodies. At the same time, the machine-like rationality canceled out the irrationality of their giant side.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

The tekvores had always refused to acknowledge the superiority of the sentinels, but this war made it increasingly difficult. Greater Tekvoria was still much superior due to its size as a state, but what if Sentinel Island had been the size of Greater Tekvoria?

Would they still be inferior?

Not a single tekvore could bring themselves to believe that. The sentinels had managed to produce a top-ten powerhouse despite having such a small population.

"You are inferior, and you know it."

Argenton, Transentia, and Nanonaut bristled at those words as they glared at Sentinel Prime with fuming expressions. Yet, they couldn't bring themselves to shout vain and empty words of bravado. They simply charged at the powerhouse with their combined might, hoping to trounce him once and for all.

Sentinel Prime sharpened his cybernetic eyes as he balled his fist. The cold fusion reactor within his chest brimmed with power as he unleashed a blast of plasma that threatened to annihilate the entirety of the tekvore army.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!!!

The three most powerful tekvores combined their might with their avatar of light, their quantum chisels, and their growing nanite armies to contain the attack. Even with NOVA's predictions on their side, they barely managed to grasp the right timing, evading complete destruction.

"I shall end this battle right here…" Sentinel's glowing body sent shivers down their cybernetic spines. "And right now."

RUMBLE!!!!!

He created a tremendously enormous ball of plasma that boiled heaven and earth, unleashing light so bright that it completely banished the darkness of night.

[Now.]

WHOOSH

Sentinel Prime's eyes widened as a strange, black MECHA teleported before him right before the attack could go off.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

He barely managed to defend against the premeditated attack with his passive defenses as the black MECHA aggressively unleashed an ocean of attacks against the leader of the Sentinels.

Each attack was, in and of itself, not beyond him, even though they were extremely powerful.

Yet, his instincts warned him of an impending danger.

Not a physical danger, but something beyond a material threat.

'I need to crush this strange mech right away.'

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!

Strangely enough, the pitch-black MECHA seemed content with allowing the powerful sentinel to whaling on with plasma-infused blows.

BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM BOOOM!!!!!!

Each blow lightly crumpled the powerful invintium-laden armor despite the tough dwarven craftsmanship, causing the MECHA to lightly deform in the face of the unfathomable offensive power of the top-ten powerhouse.

And yet, the MECHA remained strangely passive.

"It's over now." Sentinel Prime unleashed a powerful blow aimed at crushing the energy reactor of the machine.

Then, he froze.

He froze as his body refused to listen to his commands.

Chills crawled across his cybernetic skin. 'What… what is happening?'

Suddenly, his body shifted, loosening up as it adopted a strangely feminine posture. His body gazed at his hands as a cold smile emerged on his face.

"Well done, Sage Ieyasu. Now then…"

Sentinel Prime turned towards the sentinels who gazed at their leader with horror.

"Let us get on with the rest of them."

Sage Ieyasu's pitch-black cybernetic eyes sharpened. "Very well."

RUMBLE!!!!!
