"No. It can't be possible!". Screams Otzzana, remembering how her female friend died due to the Rätten's Mines and Claymores. "I don't want to fight those things again!".
"You say it like if you did anything useful during their ambush". Remarks Mayrzzya, inhaling deeply from the clean air in the environment. "Ryavd'Yian and N'Ïrk took care of everything".
"My Wifey cook for us those two days". Says N'Ïrk as he observes the surroundings with carefulness. "How wide is the Time Difference?".
Otzzana has a weird digital wrists watch with two distinct hours. One of them glitches for a moment, synchronizing with the local time.
"This place has a ratio of three hours to one, for fifteen hours".
{That means we have to wait 45 hours to get out of here}
"Do anyone think is doable for that Crazy Bitch to make this on purpose".
Inquires Otzzana, just to hear an unison, "Unlikely". From Ryavd'Yian and N'Ïrk.
Both possess Synesthesia, and are aware of how infuriated Coordinator Lycaonia was, especially by the appearance of Rättens in the Fake Zone.
N'Ïrk gives the go ahead to Ryavd'Yian, and she explains how disoriented the Coordinator was, and how grudgeful her aura looked towards the Rättens.
"This «Deviation». Could be related to what happened yesterday?". Suggest Mayrzzya, but Da'Heyliá doesn't agree.
"I don't believe «This Oddity» and «That Calamity» are interconnected. Perhaps, there is another reason".
"Like what?". Protests Mayrzzya, as always, she is fast to draw her own biased conclusion and stick to it until she is proved otherwise.
Obviously, Da'Heyliá loves to triumph over others, but doing it by being at right. "The Coordinator Lycaonia told us that the Fake Zone that all of you entered yesterday, had been tampered. She didn't say how, but it is easy to deduce the most viable, concealed and precise way to do this".
"The Frequency of our Empiric Energy". Is what murmurs Bräzzeya, though Mayrzzya is not happy about it.
"That doesn't tell us much, practically our entire lineup is the same as yesterday. The only differences are Káth'Dria, Yitz'Shiell and you Da'Heyliá".
"Which leaves us with Nine possible candidates". Points out Dyll'Phá. I personally don't think that i have any enemies, aside the douchebag of Barvro Bartolomé. And he is too coward and careless to try an assassination attempt on me. Or on anyone".
"That applies to me too".
"I do not bother others".
"Likewise"
"That removes Bräzzeya, Niveilia and Friggia". Comments Da'Heyliá. "Remaining Otzzana, Å'Vría, Mayrzzya and N'Ïrk".
"I don't think it's me". Confess the young man with nonchalant attitude. "I mean. Who would want me dead?. I barely arrived to the city, and it's not like i have made enemies in the outposts".
Káth'Dria scoffs. "Who is going to be mad at you Meat Mushroom?!. You gave 55 Gold Coins to each person who died in an outpost, so their families could be supported!".
"Damn!. That is crazy!". Screams excitedly and jokingly Ryavd'Yian.
"It's not my fault!". Confess N'Ïrk. "When i arrived at my first Outpost. I was asked if i wanted to donate some of my earnings to help the families of those who died in combat. I didn't know the custom, so i asked, «How much do they need for a year?», and the answer was 55 Coins. Since i only knew about Gold Coins. I said, «Give 55 of the gold ones".
{Thinking about it more carefully, it kinda makes sense now. They asked me several times if i was sure about my decision}
While some are stunned by the wealth, or the stupidity of N'Ïrk. Dyll'Phá kindly imparts a quick lesson to the young man. "55 Silver Coins is enough for a family of four, to survive for a year and a half approximately".
"You are very sick Meat Mushroom!". Mocks Káth'Dria, and N'Ïrk retorts swiftly. "I didn't knew about it!. And you are aware of it Glutton Gobbler. After all, you taught me about White and Silver Coins!".
"We listen to the story". Points Dyll'Phá, having a short snort that cracks momentarily her stern seriousness, regaining her usual bearing a moment later.
"In any case. We only have to be here for 45 hours, and determine what have in common Otzzana, Å'Vría and Mayrzzya".
"It's not obvious?!. They are a delightful feast for the eyes!. For sure they have a long line of suitors!". Teases Yitz'Shiell, but instead of bothering all the three young ladies, two of them look at each other with a lingering doubt that becomes a sparking of insight.
"Maybe someone wants to kill us". Reveals Mayrzzya, and Otzzana simply nods in agreement, looking absent-mindedly to the forest, remembering the time when the two were seduced and deceived by the same young man.
The sound of creaking wood alerts the whole Triquetra. Their Emenelds gleaming with the recognizable gold translucent layer coating their silhouettes.
Simultaneously, a reddened orange bolt is hovering in the student's dominant palms, aiming at the source of the noise, a small, furry and chubby puppy.
The creature's fear is so great, that is petrified in place, urinating right there despite of the youngsters lowering their hands, dispelling the energetic attacks.
«Ew!», «Gross!», and «How cute!». Are the ladies reactions.
Surprisingly, Niveilia reduces the distance, grabbing firmly the puppy's nape. "Hubby, Can we enter in the cabin?. I would like to bath, and feed her".
"Sure thing Wifey. But don't forget to boil the water". N'Ïrk warns, they may not be in the Fake Zone they were supposed to enter. Still, there is no need to disregard Hayden's advice, especially as they don't know for how long the cabin has been abandoned.
Splitting into their respective Trinities, the youngsters move from the terrace, checking the rooms of the cabin, noticing the necessary level of technology to craft the furniture, far exceeds what the village and fisher's port prowess showcase to them.
Securing the interior, and encountering a CCTV room after pinpointing the wiring layout, using the still functional system to establish and maintain a peripheral view of the perimeter around the property. Sealing windows and doors to prevent the fog from entering in the cabin…
