As the hidden realm collapsed under the unbearable weight of destruction, the battlefield was pushed into a grander and far more terrifying stage. What once was a confined domain had now been consumed by raw devastation, and the veil between realms shattered like thin crystal. The galaxy itself became their new arena.
Stars pulsed in the distance like silent witnesses, planets drifted in shattered orbits, asteroids spun out of control, and ancient comets streaked by like ethereal blades across the black canvas of space. Every celestial body moved on its own accord as though the laws governing them trembled in reverence and fear.
Then, without warning, an all-encompassing pressure descended upon everything. Space groaned. Celestial bodies quivered, their trajectories faltering for a heartbeat, as though the galaxy itself held its breath.
With a single wave of the Second Supreme Monarch's wrist, the drifting cosmic dust clouding his vision dispersed instantly. But as the dust parted, clarity struck him, and he saw it.
A foot.
At first, it seemed distant, almost insignificant, but with every passing fraction of a moment, it grew larger in his vision, tearing through the cosmic air faster than thought itself. It descended toward his temple like the judgment of a star.
By the time realization hit, it was already too late to react.
With a cataclysmic impact, Anthony's foot met the Second Supreme Monarch's temple with the force of a shooting star. The cosmic air at the point of contact detonated outward like a nuclear bloom, carving a ripple through space that bent light itself. The Second Supreme Monarch's form was launched backward in a streak of crimson and black, the shock of pain exploding through his skull. The galaxy spun before his eyes, constellations twisting in a dizzying blur.
But this time, Anthony had not aimed to decapitate. No, this time, he struck instead to disorient, to disrupt the Monarch's center of perception and balance.
But such was the Monarch's nature that within less than a second, his thoughts snapped back into place. His ancient instincts surged, and his form twisted midair with refined grace. He landed upon the smooth surface of a drifting moon with feline precision, the celestial body groaning under the weight of his presence.
In a blur that defied visual accuity, Anthony appeared before him once more, no announcement, no sound, no distortion of space. One moment he was elsewhere, and in the next, he was. His palm cut through the air toward the Vampire's chin like a blade disguised as flesh.
The Vampire moved to block, but it was futile.
Anthony's second hand followed in an elegant arc, slamming against the Second Supreme Monarch's ribs with a detonation of force. The impact rang through the void like the tolling of a cosmic bell, and for a moment, all sensation in the Monarch's lungs vanished.
'A feint.' The thought flickered in his mind even as oxygen was forcefully expelled from his lungs.
Before he could even stagger, Anthony followed up without hesitation. His knee tore upward and slammed into the Vampire's chest with a sound like worlds colliding. The Second Supreme Monarch's body tore backward across space, a streak of tortured crimson and silver. The moon beneath Anthony's feet cracked and then quaked as he launched forward, refusing the Monarch even a heartbeat to breathe.
Anthony's foretoe carved through the void, streaking toward the Vampire's jaw like the executioner's final decree. With planet-crushing precision, his foot connected with the jaw, and the impact was so brutal that the Vampire's teeth were severed from his gums, scattering across the void like meteoric fragments.
The Second Supreme Monarch scrambled to stabilize his posture, blood essence raging within his veins in a desperate attempt to reassert control. But Anthony did not grant him the privilege.
Anthony's hand shot forward like a viper unleashed, slamming into the Vampire's face with an impact so violent it cracked the very light around them. Without pause, Anthony lifted the ancient being by the face as though hauling a corpse, and with titanic, merciless force, he slammed him downward into the moon beneath them.
An ear-splitting blast echoed through the void. The moon's surface buckled, then fractured entirely under the weight of the impact. In the next instant, the celestial body gave out completely, disintegrating into fine cosmic dust as if it had never existed.
But Anthony wasn't finished.
With his hand still clamped around the Vampire's face, Anthony twisted his arm, turned once with casual motion, and hurled the Second Supreme Monarch across the cosmic battlefield like nothing more than a discarded scrap of flesh and bone.
The Vampire's body streaked backward like a comet aflame, stars blurring past his vision as he hurtled uncontrollably. Pain screamed through his nerves, his thoughts struggling to remain coherent as his regeneration worked frantically to repair the damage.
Then;
A thunderous impact.
The Second Supreme Monarch's back slammed into a blazing star. The star quaked, its radiant surface splitting. Veins of unstable stellar energy leaked outward in erratic surges of blind light.
Anthony was already upon him.
Before the Vampire could even refocus his senses, Anthony's feet collided with his stomach with the weight of a dying sun condensed into a single point. The Vampire's body curled inward under the pressure, and with that, the star beneath them finally shattered. It burst apart in a silent yet violent supernova, its energy expanding in a wave of golden annihilation. Yet to Anthony, the stellar death passed like a mere breeze brushing against his frame.
He seized the Second Supreme Monarch by the face once more, and the two vanished.
This time, they appeared upon a blazing sun, molten brilliance roaring around them like an ocean of fire. The heat was beyond what normal concept could define, capable of melting armies, yet it did not touch Anthony nor the disoriented Vampire.
Without ceremony, Anthony raised his hand. His fingers blurred, and with chilling ease, they speared forward and pierced through the Second Supreme Monarch's chest as though flesh and bone were nothing but vapor. Blood erupted from the wound, but regeneration answered instantly.
Anthony's hand closed around the Vampire's heart, not crushing it, not yet. Crushing it would be meaningless. The Vampire would simply regrow another.
Instead, Anthony allowed his Sword Intent to pulse to life.
The moment it ignited, reality trembled.
His Sword Intent flooded into the Second Supreme Monarch's body like a typhoon of infinite edges. It did not simply tear, it unmade. Muscles parted, fibers unraveled, tendons shredded, ligaments snapped like taut strings, organs were dissected layer by meticulous layer, bones were carved apart molecule by molecule.
Anthony did not rush. He matched the pace of the Monarch's regeneration exactly, every time flesh reformed, his Sword Intent severed it again. It was surgical torment, a torment engineered to last. A torment not born of rage, but of cold, deliberate calculation.
The Second Supreme Monarch's screams tore through the galaxies like a bestial lament. His regal composure shattered, his mind buckling under the sheer, relentless persistence of suffering. Anthony did not pause. He let the screams echo, as though savoring the sound like a melody composed from agony itself.
The Monarch's thoughts fractured.
'This cannot be real. I am the Second Supreme… I am… I am…'
But every attempt to cling to dignity was drowned beneath the tide of pain. He could not land a single strike. He could not retaliate. He could not even breathe without Anthony allowing it.
Then, Anthony slowly withdrew his hand from the Vampire's chest. Instantly, the wound closed with a wet sound as regeneration surged once more. For a fleeting moment, the Monarch felt the slightest relief,
Anthony did not allow relief.
He invoked Authority of Severance once more. The universe shifted in his vision, reality unraveling into countless threads. Without hesitation, he severed one.
The Second Supreme Monarch's eyes widened.
He felt it. Something fundamental was gone.
Anthony had severed his regeneration from existence.
Raising his hand once more, Anthony thrust it into the Vampire's chest again. Sword Intent bloomed like a cosmic lotus of pure annihilation. And this time;
It was slower. More deliberate. More exquisite.
Anthony was no longer tormenting a Supreme Monarch. He was erasing a legacy.
