MIGHT AS WELL BE OP

Chapter 908: I Do

Anthony, Aura Nova, Aaaninja, Lucian, and the rest of the group appeared upon the Celestial Planet, pristine white clouds dancing lazily around them as they floated high in the sky. The atmosphere itself seemed sacred, tranquil, and impossibly vast. They had only just returned from the Ramen Singularity Timeline, having passed through Anthony's portal as effortlessly as one might step through an open doorway.

Aaaninja's eyes subtly shifted toward Anthony, a flicker of thought crossing his mind. 'It seems he can even bypass all the runes and formations placed to prevent crossing into the Celestial Solar System,' he noted inwardly. Under normal circumstances, no being could simply waltz into the Celestial Solar System except the Celestials themselves. The defenses were absolute, ancient, and unforgiving.

But Anthony had crossed them as though they did not exist. In the end, Aaaninja decided not to overthink it. This was Anthony, after all, and such impossibilities had long since stopped being surprising.

"I know we just left the Ramen Singularity Timeline," Aura Nova spoke as she floated calmly beside them, her demeanor composed and serene, "but it feels as though I left there ages ago."

"Yeah, I feel the same," Altheria added. Her head tilted upward as she gazed toward the radiant sun shining above them. "The Acarnis Galaxy suddenly feels like it's lacking a lot of things, design, architecture, even fascinating aesthetics."

"Why are you even complaining?" Vega's voice chimed in from the side, casual and amused. "You're Aaaninja's girlfriend. You can just tell him to take you back there. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to."

Altheria nodded with a soft smile. "I guess that is true." She already knew that if she asked, Aaaninja would not hesitate to agree.

"We should be talking about you, Vega," Veronica intoned calmly from the side.

"What does that mean?" Vega asked, arching an eyebrow in curiosity.

"I mean, you already discussed going to a cake or ice cream Timeline with Anthony," Veronica explained, a knowing smile on her lips. "And you didn't sound like someone who planned on taking us along. I'm pretty sure you'd just leave us behind and go with Anthony without informing anyone."

Vega smiled lightly in response. "I don't plan on doing that. What harm would it be to have you all come along? After all, we joined Aaaninja and Altheria on their journey before."

Veronica remained silent, her calm smile betraying the fact that she did not believe a single word her best friend had just said.

Without another word, Aaaninja raised his hand. Space itself folded obediently, and in the next moment, they vanished. Instantly, they reappeared within a vast family estate.

"I guess now that we're done with the Ramen Singularity Timeline, it's time to begin our battle," Lucian's voice came from the side, his tone eager and unrestrained.

At those words, Aura Nova smiled faintly. This had been her true purpose in coming here, and now they were finally getting to it. Kingsley, as usual, remained silent, but his presence alone made it clear that he was looking forward to battling Aaaninja, Lucian, and Aura Nova. He may have lost against Anthony before, but that defeat had not shaken his confidence nor wounded his belief in himself. No, this battle would simply serve as another step forward on his path of martial arts, another chance to climb higher.

As for Aaaninja, he stayed quiet, but his gaze shifted toward Anthony, sharp and intent, as though he were ready to begin his rematch instantly. Anthony, on the other hand, stood relaxed, his posture confident and composed as he welcomed every challenge without hesitation.

His mind briefly drifted to the Omni Peak Academy exam, where he had fought the entire top ten simultaneously simply because he could not be bothered to face them one by one. 'Maybe I should do the same now,' he mused inwardly, fully confident that he could take on Aaaninja, Lucian, Aura Nova, and Kingsley all at once, and still emerge victorious.

Vega and Veronica glanced at one another before shaking their heads in unison.

"These men are just battle-hungry idiots," Vega said with a sigh. Although she herself possessed planetary level battle prowess, she had no intention of fighting Aaaninja or the others.

"I think they're influencing Aura Nova," Altheria remarked from the side, her eyes shifting toward the faint smile lingering on Aura Nova's face.

Vega shook her head. "They're not. Even though we haven't known each other for long, I can tell she's always been like this. Besides, she herself said she attended this meeting specifically to meet up with these battle-loving boys. I guess she enjoys fights just as much as they do."

"Well, I have no issue watching them go at it," Veronica spoke eagerly from the side. "Why would I say no to such a show? At the very least, we'll finally get to see their true strengths, and figure out who's stronger than who."

Altheria's gaze shifted toward Vega. "So, you think Anthony is winning?"

Vega's purple eyes turned toward Altheria as she responded with a question of her own. "You don't think so?"

Altheria shook her head slightly. "Aaaninja might have lost once, but I'm sure he wouldn't be challenging Anthony again if he wasn't confident." Her tone was firm, filled with belief. She trusted that her man would overcome the wall he had spent the last three years training to surpass.

"Love must really have you blind," Vega replied with a small smile. "But at the same time, I understand where you're coming from. I haven't seen Aaaninja fight, and you haven't seen Anthony fight, so it's understandable that we're confident in the people we know." Her tone was amused, if only for a brief moment.

"So what about you?" Altheria asked, turning her attention toward Veronica. "Do you think your man will win?"

Veronica remained quiet for a moment. She had spent nearly six months with Lucian and knew all too well the ridiculous abilities and overwhelming powers he possessed. In the end, she simply nodded. "I do."

Vega sighed softly. "I guess everyone's rooting for their own man," she said, a smile forming on her lips.

Romulus, who had remained silent the entire time as he perched atop Vega's head, finally spoke. "Nobody is rooting for Aura Nova. I wonder what happened to women supporting women, or does that become obsolete when love is involved?" His golden eyes did not shift toward any of the girls; instead, they remained fixed on those who would soon participate in the battle.

Altheria, Vega, and Veronica stayed silent for a moment. Then Vega shamelessly replied, "I'm sure her man will support her when she finds one." Altheria and Veronica simply nodded, offering no response.
