As the few days passed by, Rayen had already lost count of how many videos he had filmed. He only had four more songs he could record from the second to the final round.
To create so many of these videos, he divided these songs into parts. He also ensured that these parts were the ones with problematic dance moves.
After watching himself in these fan cams countless times to find these problematic moves, he could now finally understand just what the hell kind of principle Mini Plotter wanted him to learn by doing this shit.
And finally, before the clock of the 6th day struck midnight, he reached the 100 million reactions needed to complete the ranking mission...
Ding!
[Skill Ranking Mission successfully passed!
"The shadow of yourself can be your teacher. Go and watch it. You might learn a few techniques from him."
Dance: B+ >>> A-]
Rayen sighed in relief.
'I'm freaking tired...'
These past six days had taken a toll on him. His energy was drained by the antis that flocked on his account, as well as the fans that tried to defend him.
He swore to never touch social media for the next few days.
This account had even gained half a million followers during these days.
'Damn… I don't even have a proper account set up yet, but this one already has so many followers.'
Does that mean he also has that many haters?
Rayen's lips twitched.
Now, he's even more afraid to go outside. What if some hater tried something?
A celebrity's life is really a mess.
But even during his past life, he didn't have this many haters. Yet now…
A million.
'What did I even do wrong to them?'
Rayen sighed.
However, despite the tiredness he was feeling right now, there was a faint sense of elation at the sight of his new stats.
[Name: Rayen
Position: Main Vocalist
Vocals: S
Dance: A-
Visual: A-
Production: S-
Team: D+]
'Damn... These stats are so high.'
If he just ignored his team skills, it was indeed a pleasant sight. After the debut, he would slap the haters who called him a shitty dancer with these stats.
'I'm no longer the old me!'
After admiring the sight for a few more moments, Rayen dismissed his Status Window — just in time for him to notice something else.
It was now midnight, but his MC didn't go up.
But why? After the new fan satisfaction feature was introduced, his MC should've increased as the clock struck midnight.
Soon after, he learned the reason.
[Life Book Points: 1,024,731
Fan Satisfaction: 29%
Passive Income: 1,000(×0) MC daily]
"....."
Rayen quickly headed to the support chat to bother Mini Plotter.
Immediately, the said devil appeared on his screen.
[Propagator: What's the matter?]
[Rayen: Why did my fan satisfaction go down?]
Mini Plotter blinked.
[Propagator: Oh, that? Isn't that obvious? You infuriated your fans daily for the past few days. It isn't that surprising for it to go down.]
[Rayen: ****. Why didn't you say so at first?]
Mini Plotter only stuck his tongue out.
[Propagator: Well, it's not just you experiencing this. The other members are also suffering. Perhaps, there was indeed someone else playing behind all of this.]
[Rayen: What do you mean?]
[Propagator: Those bastards must be doing something.]
Mini Plotter smiled coldly.
[Propagator: It doesn't matter anyway. All we have to do is please the fans again.]
'It doesn't matter to you, but it did to me! Oh, my poor MC...'
[Rayen: How do you plan to please the fans, then?]
Since Rayen couldn't just grieve his lost MC, he was eager to know just what this plan was.
However, Mini Plotter only smiled once again.
[Propagator: You might receive a visit from my physical incarnation tomorrow.]
Just then, it disappeared, leaving Rayen hanging.
'Damn Mini Plotter.'

The next day...
"Brother, wake up. There's an emergency."
Rayen was suddenly shaken awake. Still half-asleep, he covered himself with the quilt, deliberately ignoring Yeo Haru.
Yeo Haru tugged at his quilt. "Brother, wake up!!!"
A frown creased Rayen's forehead as he got repeatedly shaken by Yeon Haru.
'This was why I didn't want this guy to be my roommate.'
Left with no choice, Rayen could only sit up on his bed.
"What the hell is it?" He glared at Yeo Haru.
"I told you. There's an emergency."
"What kind of emergency do we have at this time of the morning?"
"Eh? It's already 11 AM."
"....."
To check if what Yeo Haru said was true, Rayen glanced dazedly at the clock.
[11:07 AM]
Rayen blinked. "Why did no one wake me up? What about practice?"
"Why are you even worrying about practice?! I told you, we have an emergency!"
Suddenly, Yeo Haru pulled him out of his bed.
"Quick! Let's go out!"
Rayen was still gathering his energy, so he only let Yeo Haru pull. A yawn escaped his lips.
As Yeo Haru reached for the doorknob, he stopped and glanced back at Rayen.
"Brother, stay calm, okay?"
The yawn that Rayen was holding was suddenly interrupted. He closed his mouth and raised his brow at Yeo Haru, whose lips were pursed in a straight line.
"Why should I?" Rayen asked.
Yeo Haru gulped, unable to explain it clearly. "Just… Just stay calm."
Rayen blinked in confusion, but still said nonetheless, "Alright."
Meanwhile, Yeo Haru kept looking at the doorknob as though hesitating whether to open the door now.
'I thought there was an emergency?'
A few more seconds passed before Yeo Haru nodded in determination and twisted the knob. For this reason, Rayen suddenly felt a bad omen.
Could there be something terrifying behind this door, that Yeo Haru even had to gather his courage just to open it?
Rayen straightened his back as the gap in the door slowly widened.
"1, 2, 3…"
Suddenly, he heard a familiar distorted voice. Then…
Pop!
Before Rayen could even register what the hell was happening, a burst of color popped in front of his eyes. Dozens of confetti rained down upon him, covering his red head.
