Yeo Haru and the whole group glanced at the paper students who had returned to their classrooms. They each had come back to their desks, doing their own things as though nothing had happened, and the Haru outside their classroom was no longer their concern — as though they didn't just shamefully display their butts to him.
This situation sent a complicated feeling to Yeo Haru. (Not that he wanted to see their butts, though.)
Finally, his other teammates also snapped back to their senses. Xi Huan was the first one to approach him.
"You seem famous in your past life, Haruru," Xi Huan said.
Yeo Haru glanced at her from the corner of his eyes. "Why? Are you jealous? You might not know, but I was known as the Idol Haru in school."
Listening to this, Rayen was in doubt. From his nightmares, Yeo Haru was ignored like air.
"Of course not. Why would I be jealous of you? I'm also quite famous in my first life," Xi Huan also exclaimed.
"Oh? Really?"
"Yes. And I don't make my fans bend just for me to sign on their butts."
Immediately, Yeo Haru's face grimaced in disgust. "Get lost!"
Xi Huan giggled. This kind of enthusiasm from Xi Huan gradually eased up Yeo Haru.
"Let's go, before the students lose their marbles again," Adrian said and grabbed the two away from this butt-cursed classroom.
He was quite familiar with this situation. After all, he was also the one who had to drag and save Rayen's butt when he was mobbed by his fans.
Wait. Enough with butts.
The next room would be Yeo Haru's classroom.
When Yeo Haru neared this place, he almost faltered in his steps. Fortunately, Adrian was by his side and caught him.
"You fine?"
Yeo Haru nodded.
Just then, their attention was caught by a loud yell coming from Yeo Haru's classroom.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"Don't back down!"
"Tyrant Jay, not today!"
Each words were yelled with a high fighting spirit, echoing throughout the corridor. Several paper heads even popped out from the windows of the other classrooms to look.
Once again, the group glanced at each other before running ahead to see the true situation in the classroom.
Soon, another dumbfounding scene entered their vision.
Each of the paper students inside the classroom was holding a placard of protest written with red ink. They raised it up high as they yelled.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"Don't back down!"
"Tyrant Jay, not today!"
That wasn't the most ridiculous thing, though.
On the blackboard, a single paper cutout was taped up. Its limbs tried to struggle, but it couldn't. The name written on its left chest was eye-catching to the members of SEEDZ.
"SEO JAYU"
"It's Seo Jayu," Xu Jiji muttered.
Meanwhile, Yeo Haru had stopped walking. He stared at the scene with a dumbfounded, at the same time, conflicted gaze.
This Seo Jayu... why does he look so pitiful?
From his memories, Seo Jayu never looked like this. But right now, he didn't even look intimidating as what Yeo Haru remembered.
Just then, one of the protesting students noticed Haru's presence outside.
"Haru!" it called out.
Immediately, Yeo Haru stiffened in place. He was once again reminded of the scene of the paper figures showing their butts earlier.
Should he run now?
However, it was too late.
Hearing Haru's name getting called out, the other paper figures also glanced toward Yeo Haru.
"Ah! There's Haru!"
"Haru, look! We've avenged you!"
"Tyrant Jay is no more!"
"Fight! Fight! Fight! Don't back down to Tyrant Jay!"
Yeo Haru was rendered speechless. Fortunately, aside from urging Yeo Haru to join their revolution, no one tried to urge him to sign on their butts.
"Look! There are many more incoming!" Xi Huan pointed ahead in the corridor.
Everyone turned their eyes toward the direction her finger was pointing and saw another battalion of paper figures approaching this place.
"....." Yeo Haru remained silent.
"Just how much of a beep beep is this Seo Jayu to trigger a revolution of paper figures?" Adrian asked, peeking at the taped-up Seo Jayu on the blackboard.
"They're not students," Liam suddenly exclaimed.
Adrian's attention returned to the approaching paper figures. Unlike the paper students, these paper figures seemed larger and taller.
"Where's the bad kid?"
"Seo Jayu needs to be spanked!"
"That kid wasn't disciplined by his mother, so I'm gonna spank him in her stead!"
The mob of larger paper figures passed by the group and entered Yeo Haru's classroom.
"... Are those paper figures... teachers?"
"I think so..."
From outside the room, the group watched as the paper teachers surrounded Seo Jayu on the blackboard. Then, there was no then.
With Seo Jayu's paper figure getting surrounded, they couldn't witness how it got spanked. Only after a few minutes had passed did the crowd around the paper figure of Seo Jayu disperse.
By then, the paper figure had become mangled and torn, especially at the lower part of its body where its legs were connected to its torso.
Just one look, this paper figure of Seo Jayu seemed even more pitiful than the paper figure of the sacrificial substitute of Yeo Haru, even though it was still intact.
The students staging a revolution cheered at this sight.
"Fight! Fight! Fight!"
"Don't back down!"
"Tyrant Jay, not today!"
Yeo Haru's heart was feeling conflicted. However, no matter how many times he skimmed through his memories, there was never a time his classmates even said a thing about Jay's oppression in school, nor were there teachers who tried to rebuke him.
But this thing happening in front of them...
"We have to put a stop to this revolution." Adrian suddenly interrupted Yeo Haru's thoughts.
Yeo Haru glanced at him.
"Our mission is to restore the original scenario," Adrian reminded.
Right... This wasn't the original scenario. There was no way this truly happened.
After all, in the original... He died.
He died without anyone helping him.
Alone at the bottom of the pool.
'F*ck Jay.'
Under the gazes of his teammates, Yeo Haru barged into his classroom.
The paper figures inside noticed his arrival and cheered.
"Haru! Haru! Haru!"
They parted a way at the center for him. He approached the mangled remains of Seo Jayu's paper figure.
Then, he peeled it off the blackboard.
