From A Producer To A Global Superstar

Chapter 216: Wild night ????

Alice.

There was no doubt about it — Dayo recognized her voice instantly.

Still, a question lingered in his mind.

Why?

He smirked lightly at himself, as if pretending he didn't already know the answer, then let out a quiet sigh. Turning toward Suyin, he said calmly,

"I'll be right back. Let me see who it is."

Taking a deep breath, Dayo walked to the door and opened it, positioning his body in a way that blocked the entrance.

Alice stood there.

She had changed from what she wore earlier. Now she was dressed in a red, slim-fitted gown that hugged her curves perfectly. One glance was enough for Dayo to tell she was wearing nothing underneath.

He hid his reaction well.

With a faint smirk, he asked,

"Ah, Alice… to what do I owe this visit?"

Alice narrowed her eyes slightly. She hadn't expected that response. From the look in Dayo's eyes, she knew he understood exactly why she was there. His act only amused her more.

A slow smile curved her lips as she stepped closer, her voice soft and deliberate.

"Don't tell me you don't like what you see."

As she spoke, she leaned forward slightly, making sure her cleavage was impossible to miss.

Before Dayo could reply, a voice came from inside the room.

"Dayo, is everything alright outside?"

Suyin's voice carried a faint hint of jealousy. It was clear she had seen enough to understand what was happening.

Alice paused, surprised, then glanced at Dayo — silently prompting him to explain.

Dayo sighed and stepped aside, opening the door fully.

"Come in."

Alice walked into the room, and her gaze immediately landed on Suyin, who was barely dressed.

Alice froze.

Suyin froze.

Dayo blinked in surprise as well. He hadn't expected things to look like this when he opened the door.

She wasn't like this a moment ago, he thought.

Women and jealousy…

Breaking the silence, Dayo cleared his throat.

"Alice, this is Suyin — a Chinese gymnast.

Suyin, this is Alice — my colleague and part of my management team at the label."

The two women looked at Dayo at the same time.

Dayo raised his hands slightly and shrugged before walking over to sit down.

You two figure it out. I'm not getting dragged into this.

Suyin glanced at Alice and felt a sudden wave of insecurity. Alice's figure was mature, confident, and her chest was… overwhelming in comparison.

Meanwhile, Alice studied Suyin's youthful face and smooth skin, feeling — just for a brief moment — the subtle reminder that time was passing.

Silence stretched between them.

One minute.

Two.

Five.

Suyin couldn't take it anymore. She was practically half-naked in front of people she barely knew, and the reason she came hadn't even been achieved. From the look of things, this "Alice" had no intention of leaving.

She reached for her bag, ready to leave.

Just as her fingers touched it, a soft hand gently held her wrist.

Suyin looked up.

Alice was smiling — not mocking, not hostile — but warm and mature.

"You don't have to leave," Alice said gently.

"Sit down. Let me get to know you."

Suyin was caught off guard.

She had assumed Alice was Dayo's girlfriend, but from their interaction, it didn't seem that way. She could already tell Dayo wasn't exactly the good man type — and honestly, she didn't mind.

After all the way Dayo approached her, and her friends said it all,

She wanted Dayo.

What made things awkward was Alice's presence… and Dayo's complete lack of involvement.

"I feel like you and Dayo have something to talk about," Suyin said hesitantly.

"So maybe it's better if I leave… right?"

Alice shook her head with a smile.

"There's no need for that. We can just talk."

And so they did.

They talked about simple things — likes, dislikes, where they came from, how they met Dayo. Slowly, the tension faded. The conversation flowed. The atmosphere loosened.

Dayo watched quietly, amused.

He ordered champagne.

They drank.

Laughter followed.

Restraint faded.

By the time they checked the clock, it was already late.

They decided to stay.

Together.

And then—

BOOM.

The night exploded like thunder and lightning striking at once. Rain poured relentlessly, crashing from every direction.

It was a night that revealed the full force of Dayo.

****

Suyin stirred first.

She turned slowly, eyes blinking open, her body stiff for a moment as reality returned in fragments. The unfamiliar room. The sheets. The silence. Her gaze moved cautiously, then froze when she noticed Alice on the other side of the bed.

For a second, no one spoke.

Alice woke next, rubbing her eyes lazily, then stopped when she felt the weight of the moment settle in. She glanced at Suyin, who still hadn't moved.

The embarrassment came quietly—no panic, no scrambling—just a shared, awkward awareness.

Suyin was the first to sit up, pulling the sheet closer around herself. Her cheeks flushed, not from shame exactly, but from unfamiliarity. She was reserved by nature, disciplined, raised with restraint. Last night felt distant now, like something that belonged to another version of her.

Alice noticed.

She exhaled softly and leaned back against the headboard, arms crossed loosely, studying the ceiling.

"Well," she said finally, her voice calm but amused, "that happened."

Suyin let out a small, breathless laugh before she could stop herself. She covered her mouth instinctively, then lowered her hand when she realized how unnecessary the gesture was.

"I don't normally…" she began, then paused, searching for the right words. "I don't act like that."

Alice turned her head and smiled—not teasing, not judgmental. Just understanding.

"Neither do I," she replied. "At least, not without thinking it through."

Their eyes met.

Something cracked.

They both laughed—quietly at first, then more freely. The tension eased, replaced by something lighter. Not regret. Just reflection.

Then a calm breeze blew in, and the window curtain flowed with it, getting the attention of the duo.

That's when they noticed it.

A table filled with covered plates and different aromas was already sipping out.

Suyin blinked. "Food?"

Alice leaned forward, curious now. "He ordered?"

Suyin stood, wrapping herself properly this time, and approached the table cautiously. She lifted one lid and froze.

"This is… my favorite," she said softly. Traditional Chinese breakfast, exactly how she liked it, she remembered just telling Dayo, but never imagined that he would get it for her this morning. The act stirred a weird feeling in her heart.

Alice opened another container and laughed. "And this is mine."

"He ordered all this before we woke up?"

She looked a bit taken aback.

Suyin stared at the food for a moment longer, then sat down slowly and muttered. "You didn't have to do that, Dayo."

Alice shook her head, amused. "You're unbelievable."

They ate in silence for a while. Comfortable this time.

Then Alice paused mid-bite, her expression shifting—not playful now, but thoughtful.

"Suyin," she said carefully, "did he call you?"

Suyin looked up. "Call me?"

"Yesterday," Alice continued. "Before you came here."

Suyin hesitated.

"…Yes."

Alice nodded slowly, as if confirming something she already knew. She stared at her food, then spoke again, quieter.

Alice leaned back, trying to piece everything that had happened together, and she came up with one conclusion.

"That this wasn't a coincidence," Alice muttered. "You didn't just show up. And neither did I."

She remembered the eyes she gave Dayo yesterday, as she had been giving him such eyes for a long while, and the moment Dayo reciprocated it meant that he wanted her to come over, so what was the possibility that she and Suyin just both came at the same time?

"…So he knew, from the beginning," Alice muttered,

'This boy is getting curner by the minute.' Alice scoffed

While eating, Alice looked at Suyin. "Did you expect this to happen when he called you ?"

"No, and you?" she asked, turning to Alice, "you didn't mind?"

Alice shrugged. "Last night was intense. Unexpected. But…" She paused. "I enjoyed it."

Suyin nodded slowly. "Me too."

They exchanged a look as they felt something the never experienced.

The room settled into quiet again. Not awkward. Not heavy. Just real.

Eventually, Suyin stood. "I should get ready. Training later."

Alice nodded. "Hmm, I have somewhere to go."

They both moved around the room, gathering their things. With no rush.

Before leaving, Suyin stopped by the door and turned back.

"Last night was… crazy," she said honestly. "But I don't regret it."

Alice smiled. "Neither do I."
