I Become The Richest Man With A monthly Salary of Twenty Thousand Yuan

Chapter 392: Across the Air

As if remembering something, Yan Qianwei's expression became resolute.

Upon hearing her analysis, the public opinion in the live stream became unanimous.

"Wow! The Anchor is incredible. That must be it."

"I can't believe the swindler was actually hiding in the live stream."

"The young lady is amazing, haha!"

"Let's see how this charlatan explains himself this time, hmph!"

"It's a shame, he's such a handsome guy."

Xia Liang smiled helplessly. "Sigh, young lady, it looks like if I don't show you some real skill, you won't let this go."

With that, he stood up, walked around the table, and went straight to Yan Qianwei's side. The sudden movement frightened her so much that she shot up and retreated several steps, looking like a startled rabbit.

"Y-you, don't come any closer! What are you doing?"

Yan Qianwei's timid appearance now was a world away from her resolute demeanor just moments before.

"You're so timid. How can you be a fraud-busting Anchor? Relax. Come over here, I have something to tell you."

Feeling that Xia Liang didn't intend to use violence, Yan Qianwei slowly walked back to his side. This time, Xia Liang leaned close to her ear and whispered a single sentence.

"You... how did you know? How could you possibly know?"

Looking utterly dazed, Yan Qianwei stumbled back several more steps. A terrified expression appeared on her face as she stared at Xia Liang in disbelief.

"What's happening? What's going on?"

"Did anyone hear anything? Why didn't I hear a thing?"

"The young guy isn't actually going to hit her, is he?"

"Anchor, is that charlatan threatening you?"

"Don't worry, he knows the Anchor is live. He won't do anything."

"No, the charlatan clearly told the Anchor a secret. Otherwise, why would she react like that?"

"Could this charlatan actually have real skills?"

"How is that possible? Things like Fortune Telling and face reading are obviously fake!"

A mysterious smile touched the corners of Xia Liang's mouth. "I've told you before, face reading reflects many things. You can go now, right?"

Hearing this, Yan Qianwei showed no sign of leaving. She quickly stepped forward and seized Xia Liang's sleeve, her expression agitated.

"How could you possibly know?! Besides my mother, no one knew that I had a younger sister who died from an illness when she was little!"

At these words, the live stream instantly burst into an uproar.

"Holy moly, this charlatan is on another level!"

"Is this for real? The Anchor wasn't paid to act this out, was she?"

"Pfft! Mods, kick this idiot out! Everyone knows the Anchor has a sterling reputation."

"No way, is he really that accurate? In that case, I'm off to practice Taoism with my grandfather. Maybe I can really become an immortal. My grandpa is a real Taoist priest."

"This is too scary. If Fortune Telling is this accurate, does that mean ghosts are real?"

"What does accurate Fortune Telling have to do with ghosts? You've got quite an imagination."

"That young guy is incredible!"

"Anchor, where is this shop? I want to get a reading!"

"I'm convinced, totally convinced. I need to go see if Chen Xiazai is still at my street corner. What if he has real abilities too?"

Yan Qianwei's frantic behavior genuinely startled Xia Liang.

"Easy there, ma'am, go easy! My clothes! Let go, ma'am! If you keep this up, I'm going to yell 'harassment'!"

Yan Qianwei also realized her behavior might have been excessive. She quickly released her grip and bowed repeatedly in apology.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry! I was just too agitated!"

Xia Liang patted his sleeve and waved his hand dismissively. "It's alright. If you don't have anything else, you should leave. I won't even charge you."

"I'm not leaving! I can't leave just yet!"

With that, Yan Qianwei sat back down in the chair. She then took her streaming phone out of her bag, connected it to a charging cable, and plugged it into a power outlet beside the table. After adjusting the camera angle, she set up the phone stand.

"Handsome, do you mind being on camera?" Yan Qianwei asked with a smile, turning to the stunned Xia Liang.

"I'm sorry, but I mind very much!" Xia Liang replied righteously.

"Handsome, just give in," Yan Qianwei stuck out her tongue and coaxed him playfully. "You know those secret photos already exposed your handsome face from every possible angle, so you might as well put up with it."

"Hmph. If it weren't for the fact that you seem to have some sense of justice, I wouldn't be agreeing to this."

He wasn't really opposed to her request; after all, he'd done this kind of thing before.

Yan Qianwei began to compliment Xia Liang, who now sat properly across the desk from her. "Wow, handsome, you're really photogenic!"

The viewers in the live stream chat filled the screen with question marks.

"What's going on? I just got here. Can someone give me a summary?"

"Weren't we supposed to be busting a fraud today? How did this turn into an interview?"

"For those who just joined, calm down. Today, the Anchor is showing you God."

"By the way, where's that guy who said he'd send a rocket?"

"Anyone want to kowtow and become a disciple? We can form a group!"

"Looking to join a group."

Xia Liang himself was getting perplexed. "I say, beautiful, are you really turning this into an interview show?"

"Haha, that's right! It's rare to meet an expert like you. It's a good chance to let the viewers broaden their horizons!" a more relaxed Yan Qianwei replied with a mischievous smile.

It had to be said, a beautiful woman's smile was indeed a pleasant sight.

"What do you want to ask? Go ahead!" Xia Liang said, once again with a sense of helplessness.

"Master, could you perform for the viewers in our stream again?" Yan Qianwei pleaded, pressing her palms together.

"Is this something that can just be performed on command?"
