The two men nearly fainted. Just fight their way out like that? Was that even possible? With only the three of them, they couldn't even handle the ordinary experts outside, let alone the masters at the Golden Core Realm.
But Zhang Bin didn't seem to care. Two sharp sabers suddenly appeared in his hands, and he handed one to each of them. Then, he walked straight towards the wall and passed right through it, his voice lingering behind him, "I'll go open the door. Then we'll fight our way out together."
"Holy shit, that's the Wall-Piercing Ability!"
The two men stood there, dumbfounded, their faces filled with intense envy. They were worldly and knew that people with the Wall-Piercing Ability existed. It was an incredibly cool power, the perfect Special Ability for an assassin or a thief. Anyone who mastered such an ability was destined to become a super-rich tycoon, since other people's money and treasures might as well be theirs. They had never imagined in their wildest dreams that Zhang Bin possessed the Wall-Piercing Ability. No wonder he had managed to infiltrate the building so silently, without being detected by anyone.
In fact, the reason Zhang Bin had been able to sneak in so silently wasn't just due to his Wall-Piercing Ability. He also had help from Tutu's miraculous abilities, which had taken control of all the surveillance cameras. Otherwise, he would have been discovered long ago. After all, the security was incredibly strict.
Eight guards were standing in the corridor just outside the door, laughing and chatting. At the far end of the hallway, even more experts stood guard, and more were stationed beyond the corridor. For Zhang Bin to fight his way out would not be easy. But it was their only way. Although he had the Wall-Piercing Ability, he couldn't take the other two with him through the walls. However, once they were out of the corridor, he was confident he could get them all away quickly.
The moment he stepped out of the wall, the Bamboo Sword appeared in his hand, and he thrust it out like a bolt of lightning. He naturally used the most powerful strike of the Lightning Three Swords: Sword Shatter Foe.
SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
The sound was ear-piercing, his speed like lightning.
"AHHH! AHHH! AHHH!"
The eight guards were quite strong. Most had cultivated to the Qi Sea Realm, with a few having reached the Initial Liquid Realm. Dealing with a single Initial Liquid Realm cultivator would have been easy for them, but they never dreamed that someone could simply walk out of a wall. Moreover, Zhang Bin's sword speed had definitely reached the peak for a Liquid Stage Cultivator.
They were unable to dodge in time.
One by one, the sword pierced their hearts, sending blood spurting into the air. Astonishment was written all over their faces. Then, like felled tree stumps, they collapsed to the ground with heavy thuds.
Zhang Bin retrieved a key from one man's clothes. He used his left hand to unlock the door while his right held his sword at the ready.
The shrill wail of an alarm had already begun to sound.
Numerous experts surged out of the darkness, rushing towards them like a tidal wave. They all wore grim smiles, their bodies radiating an icy killing intent that, when combined, was enough to make an ordinary person's heart stop from fear.
"Courting death!"
The burly man leading the charge was strong, having reached the Liquid Phase Middle Stage. He saw at a glance that Zhang Bin was only at the Initial Liquid Realm, yet he had dared to mount a rescue and had already killed eight formidable guards. Enraged, he lunged forward, his sword striking for Zhang Bin's throat like a venomous snake.
SWOOSH!
Zhang Bin sneered, his own sword flashing out twice in rapid succession. The first strike deflected his opponent's blade, while the second plunged deep into the man's forehead. The man didn't even have time to scream before he breathed his last, collapsing at Zhang Bin's feet. Blood erupted, fanning out like a dazzling crimson spray.
The men charging behind him gasped, their faces filled with horror as their pace faltered. Zhang Bin seized the opportunity to swing the door open.
Ma Rufei and Chen Chaoyue immediately rushed out. They flanked Zhang Bin on his left and right, raising their cleaving knives high. Their eyes shot out icy beams of light, and a thick killing aura radiated from their bodies. They knew full well that their chances of survival today were slim; their only goal was to take down as many enemies as they could to make it count.
"Kill! Kill! Kill!"
The three of them roared in unison, their momentum overwhelming as they charged toward the end of the corridor with an aura of absolute destruction.
"Kill them!" the casino experts shouted frantically, rushing to meet their charge. With so many of them, how could they possibly fear a mere trio?
In the blink of an eye, the two groups collided like crashing tidal waves.
Zhang Bin's sword shot out like a meteor.
SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!
The sound of the air being torn apart was continuous. The wrists of the Island Nation experts were pierced through, and their weapons clattered to the floor like rain. They let out agonizing screams, their faces etched with shock and disbelief, all of them stunned by the terrifying speed of Zhang Bin's sword. It was a level of skill no cultivator at his Realm should have been able to achieve.
Ma Rufei and Chen Chaoyue were both shocked and overjoyed. Exhilarated, they raised their knives and slashed wildly at their foes. The men tried to dodge, but they were blocked by the tide of experts behind them and couldn't move an inch. One after another, they were cut down, screaming as they fell to the ground. Blood sprayed everywhere, drenching the three rescuers in red.
But they didn't retreat. They pushed forward, their coordination seamless. Zhang Bin would use his sword to pierce an enemy's wrist, and Ma Rufei and Chen Chaoyue would follow with a killing blow from their knives. The corridor was narrow, only allowing three people to stand abreast, which meant their opponents couldn't leverage their superior numbers. Most importantly, they had never dreamed that anyone would come charging out from inside the cell.
The casino's experts couldn't withstand the assault. They were pushed back step by step, leaving a trail of corpses behind them. The corridor was awash in blood, like a vision from Hell. Zhang Bin and his companions trampled over corpses and through pools of blood, their blades rising and falling in a mad frenzy.
In just a few moments, they broke out of the corridor and into a spacious garden.
But it was filled with experts, each one of them incredibly powerful. More terrifying still, a Golden Core Realm Expert stood blocking their path.
"Master, I told you! This is a horrifying trap! We're not going to make it out alive!" Ma Rufei said, his face a mask of despair.
"We broke even. Damn it, I killed at least ten of them," Chen Chaoyue said, spitting out a mouthful of bloody phlegm.
"Hahaha… So you finally realize you can't escape, huh?" Noguchi Taro shouted, a vicious laugh on his face as he gripped a razor-sharp Flying Sword. His Flying Sword was special; it had a hilt and could grow slightly larger or shrink to a mere five inches in length. It was a Low-Grade Flying Sword, about the same quality as Zhang Bin's first one.
"Transfer all your money to us and hand over all your treasures, and we'll spare your lives," the casino boss, Dakai Tanikawa, yelled with a vicious smile from behind Noguchi Taro. The man was utterly greedy, planning to take their wealth before silencing them forever.
