However, to Zhang Bin's chilling realization, it wasn't Master Tianlong but an American. That would have been one thing, but this was a Genetically Enhanced Human. What was even more terrifying was that this Genetically Enhanced Human was Jack, and he was even stronger than Sandra.

This is real trouble!

"Jack, is that you? You came to save me?" A wave of joyous surprise washed over Sandra's face. She ran over and threw herself into Jack's embrace, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.

Zhang Bin didn't dare run. Jack was emitting a terrifying aura that locked him in place. With Jack's strength, he could attack in an instant, giving Zhang Bin absolutely no chance to escape. "Jack, I have some good news for you," Sandra said, stepping out of Jack's embrace and pointing at Hanbing Yun. "This woman is Hanbing Yun, the head of China's Genetic Enhancement project. The funny thing is, she performed the enhancement on herself, so she's one of us Genetically Enhanced Humans, too. Unfortunately, her quality is too low—only S-level. Still, she can bear children. Let's take her with us. She can be your concubine."

"Hahaha..." Jack laughed maniacally. "Excellent, excellent! She's an exceptionally rare beauty. I like her very much. However, her main task will be to continue performing Genetic Enhancement to rapidly increase the number of our kind. I was worried that after the catastrophe our people faced, we wouldn't have anyone with such talent. But now, I'm not worried at all. It seems fate hasn't abandoned us Genetically Enhanced Humans. Humanity is destined to become our livestock."

Sandra cackled with smug delight.

Hanbing Yun didn't laugh. She merely stared coldly at Zhang Bin, as if she was appreciating his despair and savoring the thrill of her revenge.

"Hanbing Yun, your goal is the same as theirs, isn't it? The extinction of humanity?" Zhang Bin said coldly, his eyes fixed on her. "It's a shame I arrived too late. If I had come earlier, I could have killed you."

As he spoke, he slowly walked toward Hanbing Yun, continuing, "Truth be told, I was captivated by your beauty the first time we met. Since I'm about to die, and you used to like me... how about a final kiss?"

"Don't waste time. Kill him," Hanbing Yun said coldly, backing away quickly.

"Die!" Jack lunged forward. In the blink of an eye, he was in front of Zhang Bin, his dagger slashing madly at his neck. He intended to decapitate him.

His speed was incredible, his attack too sudden. Zhang Bin had no time to dodge before the blade struck his neck.

CLANG!

But the dagger couldn't penetrate his skin. It rang out with the sound of metal striking an anvil. A suit of gray armor had suddenly appeared on Zhang Bin's body, exuding an indestructible aura.

This was the Xuanwu Armor from Xuanwu Star.

After acquiring so many precious Evergreen Pills, Gao Si had sold them for a huge fortune and immediately purchased a suit of armor—a Middle-Grade defensive Magical Treasure.
