Human Brain Farm

Chapter 307 Reality Civilization

Amidst a barren desert planet.

A traveler, cloaked, walked arduously across the sand, holding onto a boy's arm.

The ground was covered with coarse, black sand grains, scraping the legs of the two barefooted travelers until they bled.

"We're currently at the trash dump planet 137... Many Energy Mechanics discard some abandoned parts here. The mechanical core underfoot and the arm of a Super Energy Cannon... though most are defunct now, this is our only chance."

"We just need to pay a small amount of resources to enter and search for treasures. Maybe we can assemble some..."

"Grandpa, can't we even use this one?"

"Ah, it's a type 396 Mecha arm, but sadly it's useless now." The old man bowed his head, picked up a grain of sand, revealing a gaunt, dark, and aged face.

This is evidently an ordinary barren desert.

Unlike a mechanical junkyard, there's no machinery in sight.

"Child, the universe is vast."

"As far as we can see, even our Polk civilization, our distant ancestors, are said to be from the Sen Civilization."

"Sen Civilization? The one that was said to be the second divine level civilization to declare to the universe?"

"Yes, child, it's said that during the heyday of the Sen Civilization, they mastered 82% of the universe's rules and made a declaration to the universe with an eighty billion year-long legacy. Once spanning thirty-seven massive nebulae, yet this glorious dynasty was but... dust in the dust of the universe."

"Really? Are we the descendants of the Sen Civilization?" The child showed a yearning expression.

"Who knows? That's what the rulers claim anyway."

"After declaring the cosmic epitaph, just like the Bo'er Civilization of yore, we too headed toward fragmentation... Today, our civilization has split into countless parts, and we are merely one of the fleeing branches."

The old man narrated the familiar history of this land, "It's said that this was also one of the Sen Civilization's final decisions, to spread its branches and offspring across the universe, thus ending its death."

"Because when the ever-strived-for goal suddenly vanishes, dreams dissipate, and the collapse of faith inevitably leads to riots and chaos."

Despite saying this.

The true nature of the Sen Civilization's descendants was not something that these low-level commoners could comprehend.

After all, since they could remember, this side branch had lived here, trapped in a "well," continually evolving amidst the mud.

"By the way, our civilization fragmented, but what about the legendary Bo'er Civilization? The one said to be the strongest ultimate civilization—did it too disperse across the universe like us?" the boy asked.

"Unclear, the Bo'er Civilization completely vanished; after sending out a message, it disappeared as if into Otherworld, probably self-annihilating entirely."

"It's really troublesome." As the old man recounted history, he silently cursed, "Why can't I find what I'm looking for? It's getting harder to strike it rich lately..."

Boom!

In the next second, a cracking sound came from the sky.

"What are you? Merely a low-grade paramecium DNA lifeform, daring to create trouble on our planet?"

A cold voice echoed, "Moreover, a dozen or so parameciums, moving in groups, thinking they can hide among our populace? Simply ridiculous."

"Don't hit me, I'm..."

A gentle voice, like fine wine, seeped into the soul.

"All seven Lingguans of my Red Gold Sect are in action. Based on their intel, we're mostly wrapping up here.... It's the same for you too." The man gazed with interest at the weeping beauty before him.

"How could this be?"

Though the Xiliang Queen maintained a fragile appearance, she was utterly shocked inside, looking at the towering man, "Not to mention others, the Three Immortals of the Chechi Kingdom are dozens of times stronger than I am. How were they dealt with so quickly...?"

Among this group, her cultivation was relatively the lowest...

Yet they were powerful existences.

Even the Emperor Tang found them quite troublesome, not easily dealt with so quickly. And yet here, dismissed without effort?

Even though in this eerie Outer Chaos Realm, they could only use True Skill rules, and their combat power dropped to less than one-tenth, they had come to the most impoverished area of this civilization, and couldn't even defeat the weakest locals here?

"A low-end species' charm? Who knows where you low-quality, trash-genes species come from." The man's cold voice resonated, "How did you suddenly appear here among us, outsider low-grade species?"

The tall, handsome man lightly pointed a finger, "Woman, although you're a low-grade paramecium, your beauty is unprecedented. Playing with you might not be bad..."

"Don't force me." The Xiliang Queen, utterly infuriated, sneered, "As the rightful monarch of the Women's Country, no despicable man in this world dares to act so impudently towards me... If it were on my land, I would've had you executed already—"

Poof!

A faint golden beam pierced through the woman's chest.

Yet, the next second, instead of dying instantly, the Xiliang Queen manifested a mysterious rule not belonging to this universe, breaking free immediately from restraints.

"What is this? An interesting woman," the man muttered in disbelief; the rule defied his understanding of the universe.

"Get out of here!!"

The Xiliang Queen erupted with a mysterious red light, repelling the adversary, and then vanished.

Evidently, even though they temporarily stole the "Projection Rules" technology from Emperor Tang, the consumption was immense, unsustainable for long usage.

"Damn it!"

"Damn it!"

The Xiliang Queen fled frantically.

"I might not die here, but I suffered a major loss at the onset... Emperor Tang indeed tricked us; his projection rules' energy use is far less than ours. We only stole the basics! Even channeling here, projecting power and unleashing some cultivated Celestial Dao core power, the consumption is terrifying!"

Observing the disappearing woman, an unimaginable look crossed the man's face.

Soon, he received a signal.

"Young Sect Master, rest of all besieging Otherworld creatures, erupted with mysterious rules unbound by the four fundamental forces or any universal physics laws, gravity constant, spectral wavelength.... utterly irrational, they just fled."

The man bore a bemused expression, "Seal off their information, and continue to capture them... rules that are not of our universe..."

"Could it be that the power our ancestors incessantly pursued changed in our generation?"

The man showed steep fervor as he forcefully pursued ahead.

Suddenly, he halted and mused aloud, "Seems like there's a scent of another paramecium... is it a hallucination?"

He hesitated momentarily, then headed towards where the Xiliang Queen disappeared.

After a long while passed.

The shivering grandfather and boy slowly rose, looking at the bizarre battle in the sky.

"Are you two okay?" A voice came beside them, belonging to a comely young man exuding mild naivety, a tear mole at his eye corner.

"We're alright." The two travelers quickly responded.

Zhu Zhengwei smiled slightly, feeling somewhat pleased; it had been ages since he roamed under this guise.

After all, if the Tear Mole God appeared in the Primordial Chaos Universe and encountered the vengeful Emperor Tang, it'd be disastrous.

Thus, in the Primordial Chaos Universe, he predominantly refrains from showing himself.

After tricking him once, there was a high chance he'd obliterate this "avatar" of his. The Human Emperor was unthreatened by such things.

Gazing towards the sky's direction, Zhu Zhengwei chuckled, "You mythical beings with supernatural immortal magic, when entering the real world have to abide by science.... See, science indeed trounced you all."

Though their technology had advanced to a point where even Zhu Zhengwei momentarily couldn't comprehend its scientific basis.
