Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong

Chapter 1325: Upheaval Within the Nest

"Awooo..."

Accompanied by the wailing of another Tier 6 giant dragon collapsing under the siege of our strong fighters, Leo Ray and the others barely had time to catch their breath when strange energy waves suddenly surged from various points on the battlefield.

Instantly, the air was filled with a reek of decay, earthy smell, and a deep metallic scent resembling rust, rapidly spreading and becoming extremely pungent.

After a series of battles just now, our side had already learned that this was the peculiar odor emitted by the purple crystals parasitizing the giant dragons.

"As the dragons fell one after another, these smells should have noticeably faded; why are they suddenly intensifying? Could it be that reinforcements are coming?"

Intrigued, Leo Ray steadied his mind and immediately looked around.

Since we had already advanced to the latter part of this vast space, and the Dwarf Elves had dispelled most of the mist, everything was almost in plain sight.

In the dimly lit nest elsewhere, clusters of eerie purple glows ignited like torches, thickening and swelling uncontrollably, and these increasingly dense purple orbs swayed wildly, highly conspicuous in the dark space—the very source of the strange energy wave and odor.

"It's not reinforcements; this must be..."

Leo Ray's eyes widened as he soon spotted the crux of the matter: the locations where the purple orbs flared up were precisely where the enemy giant dragons we had slain earlier lay haphazardly!

More accurately, the dragons were covered by the purple crystals that had lost their color, now reigniting!

Upon a glance, those dragons, which had seemingly lost their life aura, were once again erupting with energy waves no less intense than at first encounter. Naturally, this meant the adversaries were not truly dead.

True to expectation, as soon as Leo Ray realized this, terrified cries of the Dwarf Soldiers dispersing the last fog swiftly reached: "It's moving! The fallen dragons are moving again!"

As the Dwarf Elves' voices fell, Leo Ray noticed it too.

The colossal bodies of the dragons nearby, which were once motionless, began rhythmically writhing, appearing exceptionally bizarre under the intensifying purple glow, as they faintly emitted a sticky sound of blood and flesh fusing.

As the writhing speed accelerated, the sticky fusion sound became increasingly palpable; the wounds on the dragons rapidly reclosed, even broken wings and shattered limbs were restored to their original state.

More astonishing was that at the repaired wounds, purple flesh resembling crystals grew, slowly writhing and emitting the texture unique to crystals—clearly crystallizing.

In virtually an instant, the purple flesh transformed entirely into purple crystals covering other parts of the dragon's body, sparkling with a suffocating purple gleam.

Though this wasn't the end, as the fresh purple crystals shone, the fallen adversaries began rising one by one, their blank purple eyes brimming with a turbulent rage, murderous momentum rushing forth.

"This is...?!"

Upon seeing this scene, our strong fighters were at once dumbfounded, sweat forming in sizable beads on their foreheads.

The hardness of the purple crystals was something everyone deeply felt earlier, and now, not only did the fallen foes stand again, but their wounds were also covered with fresh purple crystals.

This undoubtedly meant the enemy's Defense Power had considerably strengthened, since the previously wounded parts were now invincible.

Particularly seeing some severely fragmented dragons, despite their disarray, restored to their former entirety, made our strong fighters increasingly apprehensive.

For a time, although our camp consisted of numerous Tier 6 Combat Power warriors, a sense of unease quietly spread through the ranks.

"Hehehe, ants, did you really think you'd won earlier?"

The instigator's derisive and contemptuous voice rang out, sneering: "Even if you defeat my creations a hundred times, they will stand again."

"The wounds you inflict upon them only serve to strengthen their Defense Power, whereas the energy you expend is real and tangible. In this situation, how long can you actually persist?"

The instigator's voice grew increasingly unbridled, laughing wildly: "Ants, how does it feel to be plunged into despair? This is the fate of trying to shake the tree!"

"Stop your idle prattle!"

Shuert's wooden-carved old face showed not a hint of fear, but rather a stern expression: "Once we utterly obliterate these creatures, can they still regenerate?"

"Hehe, it sounds easy enough, let's see if you possess such capability."

The instigator's voice was full of mockery, eerily stating: "I, no, the Lonely King said just now, your flesh will pave the red carpet for my coronation, hehehe!"

Listening to the unabashed remarks from the adversary, our strong fighters' faces were increasingly grave.

Though what Shuert said was quite reasonable—it should indeed suppress the terrifying regeneration if the enemy is ground into powder.

Yet the Dragon Clan's Defense was naturally formidable, most of our countermeasure tactics involved concentrating on a single point to achieve armor-breaking, thus effectively harming the enemy.
