The deep part of the ancient passage, full of cracks, was pitch black, as if a gigantic beast from the abyss was opening its mouth. Even with the illuminating magic spheres surrounding us, the darkness ahead remained difficult to penetrate.

Moreover, the entire passageway was structured to descend, which indicated we were getting closer to the underground depths.

"Mentioning the underground depths naturally brings thoughts of 'Corrosion,' though there is currently no information proving any connection between 'Corrosion' and Witch Demons, it's better to be cautious."

Leo Ray thought as much, then cast an inquisitive eye towards the two Tier 6 Stone Spirits beside him.

Little Jie understood and promptly replied, "My Lord, the weak aura of our kind is indeed emanating from the depths of the passage!"

"Your Majesty of the Humans, what kind of aura? Could there possibly be a Stone of God here?"

Loris, hearing this, couldn't help but express his confusion.

Because Leo Ray's possession of the Stone of God was no longer a secret before this, Loris already suspected the identities of Little Jie and Xiao Jing, so his inquiry was not surprising.

"That's right, this might be the key to escaping our predicament."

Leo Ray nodded slightly, proceeding to describe the sequence of events.

"So earlier on the surface, Your Majesty of the Humans deduced that there would be danger underground because of this."

Having listened to Leo Ray's explanation, Sina appeared enlightened and remarked, "It's fortunate that Your Majesty of the Humans carries a Stone of God; otherwise, our situation would have been much more passive."

After much thought, Leo Ray still refrained from voicing his concern about 'Corrosion'.

Just as he said, we've been led by the nose too much by the other side, and our morale is extremely low. Adding another 'Corrosion', which can't be defeated by conventional means, would undoubtedly worsen the situation.

Moreover, he was still unable to confirm any connection between the two.

Leo Ray refocused on the surrounding scenes.

Because the quantity of his Tier 6 Detection Scrolls was sufficient, one scroll could extend a long distance ahead, allowing for quick movement without worrying about magic traps in the passage.

This proved to be true, as we traversed the ancient passage and arrived at a very spacious underground space without encountering any hindrances.

Everyone present understood clearly that since there were no traps within the passage, they would certainly lie ahead.

And Leo Ray's gaze swiftly moved, surveying the unfamiliar environment around.

The magic spheres illuminated the space brightly.

The height was enough to fit two dragons, and its area compared to that of a small town, meaning it was extremely spacious.

Yet, it was empty, beyond the significantly reinforced ancient floor and walls, there was nothing else present, making it appear desolate.

"This seems to be an incomplete square, perhaps it was destroyed before the alliance forces could finish it."

After observing for a moment, Sina nodded thoughtfully.

"Perhaps."

Leo Ray casually echoed, his gaze finally resting on the passageways surrounding the space.

Besides the passage we came from, there were a dozen others lined up here, showing that this open area was evidently the hub of the Underground City.

"Let's first check the surrounding safety."

Leo Ray took out a pile of Detection Scrolls again and instructed the strong individuals to activate them.

Though many formidable individuals present possessed substantial detection magic, it required preparation time and consumed their mana, thus the use of Magic Scrolls was undoubtedly the best choice.

Accompanied by one energy wave after another, the surrounding area lay flat, with no traces of magic traps.

"Which direction is the weakened Stone Spirit?"

During the detection, Leo Ray turned to the two Stone Spirits beside him.

"My Lord, it's in that direction!"

Little Jie and Xiao Jing spoke in unison, both pointing to the passage directly opposite.

After speaking, both realized something, their starry eyes lighting up, and Xiao Jing spoke first, "My Lord, the other party has also discovered our presence and is approaching us!"

Xiao Jing finished speaking, and Little Jie immediately nodded, clearly sensing the approaching aura.
