"Cast the buff on Vanter Mina!" Raven yelled from the back.

A runic circle appeared below Vanter, his body glowed with light as Mina buffed him with her strength increase spell.

Raven's team was fighting a wolf beast with dark red fur and was huge in size, about four meters in height, with its two lower jaw canines jutting out of its mouth, giving it a fierce look.

Vanter moved his axe forward above his head, stopping the wolf's attack as it bit on his axe's handle.

Raven casted his gravity spell as a huge pressure fell on the beast and its legs buried in the ground. Katsu slashed at it from the side as he pulled his katana out of its sheath in lighting fast speed.

An energy arc moved from the katana and hit right on the beast's belly, leaving a long slash wound and blood jutting out.

The beast howled in pain and released its jaw from Vanter's axe and faltered back. Shadow appeared near its neck and stab at the neck. His dagger pierced in and he then slashed it downwards, resulting in a fountain of blood gushing out.

Rocks separated out from inside the ground and floated up above Raven, forming two pointy and slender conical arrows. A runic circle appeared on his palm as gravity magic was casted on the arrows.

He waved his hand forward when the arrows zoomed towards the beast. the two arrows pierced right through his body and dug inside the ground, suspending the beast's body above the ground, with the arrows stabbed through it.

After a low whimper, the beast took its last breath and its body went limp.

"Collect the mana stone Vanter." Raven said.

"Isn't it a bit unusual for a nightmare beast to appear this close to the portal?" Mina asked.

"They said the nightmare beasts are the highest that can appear in the realm. But I haven't seen a single deadly or killer beast till now. and the first beats we see is a nightmare one." Shadow said, doubtfully.

"This was just an initial nightmare class. maybe evolved not long ago." Vanter said, bringing a black mana stone in his hand.

"Could be, I guess. What do you think Katsu?" Raven asked looking towards him.

"I feel something is wrong."

The others got serious even more hearing Katsu, as he had great intuition and speaks very less, but when he does, it's not useless.

"Let's move with caution then. Be ready for any situation. Points are what matters, we kill whatever comes in our way and find the flowers." Raven said sternly.

The others nodded and started moving forward again.

Luke was flying above while maintaining the shield spell. He was training even while keeping an eye out for beasts and the lilies.

Just then he heard the roars of a beast in the distance. Thinking of being able to get some points, he turned left and zoomed away.

He saw a huge wolf like beast in the distance with his red fur glistening from afar. But there were three young men engaged in a fight with it.

He stopped mid air and levitated just a few meters away from them. instead of stealing someone else's prey, he decided to wait, as they were struggling quite a bit with the beast since it was an initial nightmare class, and if they are not successful in hunting it, he may then take the kill.

They kept on fighting but no one was getting an advantage, they were in a stalemate. Just then Luke saw the sigil of the Ranatosh duchy, two swords forming a cross with a roaring lion over them, inscribed on the coats of the three young men.

But instead of rushing ahead to help, he still waited, ready to jump in immediately if needed.

As if his intuitions were proving him right, one of the fighter mage with a sword was hit by the paw of the wolf beast and was thrown back to the distance.

The spear mage rushed to it trying to bind the wolf, but instead of rushing at him, it jumped up and targeted the wizard at the back.

The wizard was taken aback at the beast suddenly jumping at him, fear gripped his senses as he froze on the spot, unable to lift his staff and cast a spell.

Death was approaching him and both his partners were at a distance, unable to reach him. but just then a young men landed in front of him from the sky.

He lifted his arm forward and a shield in the form of a sphere covered both of them, and the beast's strike landed on the transparent shield with prana flickering around, but was unable to even form a single crack on it.

"I didn't want to interfere, but seeing you about to get killed, I couldn't stop myself. Would you mind if I kill this beast?" Luke asked.

The wizard shook his head reflexively, unable to process what was happening right now. One moment, he was about to die and the next, a savior appeared out of nowhere in front of him.

"Alright then!" A smile spread on Luke's face.

He turned around and the palm of his lifted arm curled into a fist. Prana gathered around it and a magnified fist shaped prana punch zoomed out of his fist and hit the wolf beast, passing right through its body, creating a large hole.

The beast's body went limp and it fell on the ground with a thud. Blood flowed out soaking it's body.

The three of then looked with mouth agape. The beast that they were struggling with since a long time, was killed with a single punch from this young man, without a sweat.

"You can keep the mana stone. Since we're from the same duchy, I won't feel good taking it from you guys." Luke said with a smile.

"Who are you?" the wizard asked, still in shock.

"I'm Luke. What are your names?"

"L-Luke R-Ranatosh!?" the spear mage yelled in shock.

"Yes."

"We apologize young master Luke!" the three of them immediately kneeled as if they had committed a crime looking and speaking like that with him.

Luke was shocked speechless. Even though he was the son of the duke, their reactions were quite abnormal and over exaggerated.
