"Gather them all. They're all poisoned." Luke said in an urgent tone pointing at all of them lying on the ground, retracting his limit break and dragon pressure.

The three of them collected themselves, focusing on saving their friends right now. Vanter and Jordan rushed at the ones lying on the ground. Luke moved too and the three brought all of them and laid them near each other on the ground.

"Can you purify the poison, Ruby?" Luke asked.

"With mass heal, it's possible. But it takes too much mana and I've never used this spell in the past. I don't know if I'll be able to cast it. I don't have much mana left too." Ruby said.

Luke went silent. He went into thought as no one spoke anything. After a few seconds he looked up at Ruby.

"I'll help you with mana. Healing them one at a time will take too much time, it might get too late for someone then." Luke said firmly.

"But…I don't know if…"

"There's no time Ruby! I believe in you. You'll definitely be able to cast it. You have to believe in yourself now."

Jordan and Vanter nodded at her, encouraging her to go on.

Ruby exhaled out deep. She steeled her mind and with determined eyes moved forward, standing in front of all of them on the ground. Luke moved behind her and placed his palm on her back.

"I'll transfer my mana to you. Cast the spell and I'll make sure that the mana doesn't run out."

"But, is it possible to transfer mana? I-I've never heard anything like…"

"Have faith in me Ruby." Luke said in a firm tone. Ruby nodded and started channeling her mana.

After awakening his dragon blood. The doors to the truths of mana and their principles opened up in front of Luke. Dragons are beings that are loved by mana. Though in the eyes of the people in the continent they are reduced to only a destruction class beast, old record proved them to be the one to teach humans magic first.

A huge golden runic circle with intricate runes appeared over the ones on the ground. Ruby's face twitched in pain, it was taxing for her to cast this spell since it was a fifth circle spell, and she had just reached the fourth circle.

Prana flowed out of Luke's palm and glided over Ruby's shoulder and arms and covered her palms. Ruby was shocked when the pain she was feeling lessened immediately. A unknow feeling of freshness wafted over her as prana fused itself with her mana.

Drops of golden mana like rain started coming out of the runic circle and fell on all of them. just when the drops touched their skin, it seeped through their skin inside.

The drops kept falling over them as Luke kept on transferring mana to Ruby. After a few minutes, the blueness started disappearing from all of them. Color returned to their skins and their faces eased. The constant pain now gone.

Ruby stopped channeling mana. Luke stopped and retracted his arm back too. The mana drops stopped falling out and the runic circle slowly vanished.

All of them slowly opened their eyes. Groaning still while they sat up. Confusion was written all of their faces, when suddenly Shane screamed out.

"Luke!" He stood up and jumped on Luke. hugging him tight like a baby. "I thought you've left us! I saw the door of heaven just now. the celestial nymphs were calling me to join them. I was almost about to give up man." Shane whined as he said.

All of them laughed out loud. the tension easing up immediately. Vanter and Jordan moved to their teammates and explained what happened after they were all poisoned.

"Alright! Alright! You're not a baby. Come on now." Luke pulled him away from himself. Shaking his head at his childishness.

"I'm in your debt again." Noah said with a smile.

"I'm sorry man. I rushed as soon as I got your signal."

"Were you near then? You reached quite fast." Noah asked.

"Well…it's because of an item I found here. It's a long story. I'll tell you later." Luke said.

"Thanks for saving us." Katsu came forward and bowed to Luke.

"It's all Ruby. She's the one that healed you all." Luke said.

"Thank you miss Ruby. We now have a debt to pay you." Katsu thanked Ruby, bowing with his waist almost parallel to the ground.

The others also came forward. Shadow, Jane and Mina thanked Ruby and Luke. bowing to them for saving their lives. But Adriana and Raven were still standing without a word.

"You won't thank me?" Luke looked at Adriana, as he asked her teasingly with a smile on his face.

Adriana didn't look at him. she ignored him outright and walked towards Ruby.

"I don't know how to thank you Ruby. You've saved me twice now. but I haven't been able to pay you back once." Adriana held her hands as she said with a warm smile on her face.

"You've definitely done something man. I sure of it now." Shane looked at Luke with furrowed brows as he said.

Raven walked forward and stood in front of Luke. he looked dead in his eyes.

"I'll definitely pay you back for this. And next time, I'll be strong enough to handle such a beast alone." He then turned around and started walking away from them.

Seeing him move, his other teammates followed along after thanking the two of them once again.

"Would saying a thank you kill him?" Shane scoffed.

Luke and Noah looked at each other. Shook their heads and chuckled. They knew that Raven was too prideful to accept his loss. him thanking Luke was accepting that Luke was stronger than him, and he had lost.

"You won't mind if we take the mana stone of the serpent, would you?" Luke asked Adriana again.

"You killed it. why ask me?" she replied curtly.

Luke just chuckled at her response and asked Noah to take it out.
