System: My Doomsday Train

Chapter 127: "Fixed Star... Run.

The Constant Star Train quietly sat on the plaza suspended high in the sky. This was the waiting period, with seven minutes remaining before the start of the fourth level.

The difficulty of the previous three levels was relatively low.

The rewards were also low.

Starting from the fourth level, the difficulty had already reached Level A, and naturally, the rewards would also be relatively higher.

"... "

Sitting inside the train compartment, Chen Mang scanned his surroundings. He couldn't figure out how this plaza was floating in the air; he didn't see any jet engines, feel any strong magnetic forces, nor was there any steel cable or the like.

After retracting his gaze,

He turned his attention to the control panel with two Accessory Blueprints obtained in the first two levels; the quality wasn't very high, one being a white grade and the other a green grade. However, their rarity lay in the fact that these two blueprints could only be found during the Heaven-Reaching Tower adventure.

These were obtained randomly; clearing the second and third level didn't necessarily mean obtaining these two blueprints.

But now wasn't the time to review the gains.

He sat in his seat, lit a cigarette, and looked out the window at the scenery. The buildings constructed from mechanical parts looked quite cold.

Following this are the fourth and fifth level.

With difficulties of Level A and Level S, respectively.

If he can successfully clear these two levels, then this "Heaven-Reaching Tower" adventure map will be smoothly completed. At least for now, he feels that this adventure map doesn't pose much difficulty.

Soon—

A light curtain emerged again before the train.

-

"Fourth Level, A-Level difficulty, city-annihilation crisis."

"Escape from Mechanical City ..."

-

The moment the light curtain appeared.

Chen Mang felt that all the spotlights on the skyscrapers of Mechanical City seemed to shine on him, and then the scenery around him started to change, and his ears were filled with various noises.

There were intermittent electronic noises.

There were sounds of artillery fire.

There were roars of monsters.

The quiet Target Detection Radar suddenly started blast, countless red dots almost filling the screen densely.

"Calling the Constant Star Train... Calling the Constant Star Train... Retreat... Retreat... I command you to retreat!"

An emotionless and cold mechanical voice came through the Train Radio.

With a surprised change in complexion, Chen Mang sharply looked outside. He was originally on the high-up plaza, but at some point, the train had appeared on a plaza within the city, and on both sides of the train, hundreds of humanoid eco-simulation robots, armed with guns and red glowing eyes, rushed toward outside the city.

He could clearly see the wires and Energy Stones exposed on the robots, and the guns they wielded were entirely different from the ones produced inside his train, sleek and elongated, with what seemed like battery-like structures faintly visible on the stocks.

"Zzzzzz..."

Amidst chaotic noises, thousands of creatures resembling two-meter tall mantises charged from the end of the street.

Those robots that rushed forward first uniformly dropped to one knee, aimed their guns at the monsters, and pulled the triggers. Numerous scarlet lasers shot out, and any monster hit emitted green smoke before collapsing at the feet of other monsters.

However, more unshot monsters charged in front of the robots, opening their gaping mouths with monstrous roars, raising their limbs' sharp blades high to hack at the robots, sparks and lightning flashing as hit robots jerked a few times before falling to the ground, black smoke billowing.

The street behind the plaza was just a glimpse.

Suddenly, the entire Mechanical City came alive, with monster roars echoing all around. Looking up at the sky, there were numerous flying monsters, as dense as black clouds, converging toward Mechanical City, as anti-aircraft guns installed on skyscrapers fired almost simultaneously.

"Whizz whizz!"

At that moment, the sky over Mechanical City was traced everywhere by the paths of tracer bullets, as grand and unforgettable as a meteor shower, extremely dazzling!

Countless airborne monsters struck down screamed as they plummeted to the ground, but many more monsters broke through the firepower barricade!

A trace of disbelief and shock flashed in Chen Mang's eyes; he even saw four or five trains take off from the city and rise up, with firepower accessories on board firing frantically.

And on the Target Detection Radar.

More trains were departing from skyscrapers, or underground, or from the lifts below plazas, accelerating along the streets to confront the adversaries outside the city!

Is this...a hallucination?

Or similar to the existence of Combat Training Virtual Space?

The current Mechanical City was completely different from the Mechanical City he saw upon first entering the map. Everywhere were harsh sirens with not a single human in sight, only running robots and seemingly endless monsters on the ground.

The relentless firing of numerous firepower weapons and the roaring of monsters mixed together, resembling a tsunami-like roar, blanking one's mind instantly.

The present Mechanical City didn't look so abandoned; it was in much better condition than the Mechanical City he saw upon entering the map, with much more liveliness instead of desolation.

Just then—

"BOOM!!!"

One of the skyscrapers alongside the street quickly retracted its wall from the seventh floor to the first, and a mecha over ten meters tall carrying various large firepower accessories and wielding a lightsaber emerged with all sorts of indicator lights flashing on it.

Just stepping out from the skyscraper, two deep blue flames erupted from its back, instantly rising to the sky, charging toward the giant monster that was several dozen meters in size!
