After much thought, Yang Zi decided to kill Tang Jian. It was the safest way, as only the dead keep secrets.
That evening, Yang Zi returned home.
It wasn't long before Tang Jian arrived at the villa. Tang Jian was probably more familiar with this villa than Yang Zi herself. He had been Liu Shaoqi's driver for five or six years, and he visited the villa almost daily. Upon entering, he called out, "Madam, I'm here."
Yang Zi was wearing a sling dress, her tall figure and loose hair making her incredibly charming. She was holding a glass of red wine.
"Why did you only just arrive?" Yang Zi playfully scolded, her tone slightly reproachful.
"Hehe, wasn't I just worried that arriving too early might raise suspicions, Madam?" Tang Jian laughed heartily, rushed over, embraced Yang Zi and kissed her fervently on the chest, delighting her into giggles.
"Come on." Yang Zi led Tang Jian up to a room on the second floor.
Unsuspecting, Tang Jian walked straight in. Yang Zi placed her glass on the table, then picked up the bottle of red wine and poured him a small half-glass, saying, "Let's have a couple of drinks before we do anything; it helps set the mood."
"Sure, how could I possibly dampen the spirit if Madam is in the mood?" Tang Jian promptly nodded.
Yang Zi quickly passed him the glass of wine.
Tang Jian took the wine with a smile. After a slight pause, he joked, "Madam, you aren't planning to poison me, are you?"
Yang Zi shuddered, relieved that Tang Jian hadn't noticed, otherwise her plan would have been exposed. She immediately laughed and said, "How could I? You're my benefactor. If it weren't for you, I might still be under Liu Shaoqi's clutches. You liberated me; why would I harm you?"
"Hehe…" Tang Jian chuckled, "Don't worry, Madam. Liu Shaoqi is so inept, he can't compare to me. I promise to delight you every day."
"Really?" Yang Zi giggled, "Are you that impressive?"
"Would Madam like to try?" Tang Jian was about to set down his glass and advance.
Yang Zi quickly said, "Let's finish this bottle first."
Tang Jian hesitated but then nodded, "Alright, let's drink."
With that, he downed the half-glass in one go.
Yang Zi also finished her drink.
Tang Jian, excited, asked, "Madam, another drink?"
"No more." Yang Zi shook her head, and slowly took off her clothes. Beneath was nothing, completely bare.
Seeing this, Tang Jian's blood began to boil. He was wildly excited, almost uncontrollably so. Unknown to him, the deadly poison in the wine was already coursing through his veins, its effects intensifying with his blood's agitation.
Tang Jian hurriedly pounced, embracing Yang Zi's body and frantically kneading her proud bosom.
However, it wasn't long before Tang Jian could no longer stand. He felt his consciousness blurring. It seemed as if a scorching liquid was leaking from his nose. He anxiously touched his nose, only to discover his hand was covered in fresh blood.
"What's… what's happening to me?" Tang Jian panicked.
Yang Zi quickly dressed herself, eyeing Tang Jian warily.
Seeing Yang Zi remain calm, Tang Jian immediately got a bad feeling and quickly said, "It's… it's you, isn't it? You poisoned my drink?"
"I... I didn't!" Yang Zi frantically shook her head.
"You wretch, it was you!" Tang Jian yelled, just about to rush at Yang Zi but suddenly found he couldn't control his body. He fell heavily to the ground. His consciousness quickly faded.
Spitting out a mouthful of blood, his entire body convulsing, foam mixed with blood at his mouth, resembling a gruesome blood-milkshake.
Yang Zi, horrified, collapsed to the floor. Killing for the first time, she hadn't expected such a scene or such consequences. She was petrified until Tang Jian lay motionless on the ground, then she hurriedly shouted, "Tang Jian, Tang Jian, wake up, please!"
There was no response from Tang Jian.
Only then did Yang Zi, in a panic, scramble up and walk over to Tang Jian. She checked his pulse on his neck, and upon confirming there was none, she finally relaxed. This was Yang Zi's first murder, and her first time cleverly using a combination of chemicals for the kill.
"What to do? What to do?" Yang Zi said anxiously.
The most urgent task was to quickly dispose of Tang Jian's body; otherwise, if discovered, the consequences would be unimaginable. Now that Tang Jian was dead, it turned out to be a relief for her, as no one would know about her killing Liu Shaoqi, and no one would threaten or intimidate her anymore.
In a frantic state, Yang Zi retrieved a large suitcase from the storage and, while Tang Jian's body was still not stiff, stuffed him into this large suitcase. Weighing about 180 pounds, it took all her strength, but she managed to fit Tang Jian inside and handle the situation. Struggling, she dragged the suitcase out and loaded it into the trunk of her car.
Yang Zi drove away from the villa, racing towards the wilderness.
It was already the early hours of the morning, the night outside pitch-black. Unknowingly, her car reached the East River. Seeing the vast East River, Yang Zi suddenly thought of the best way to resolve this – possibly sinking Tang Jian's body in the river would be the best solution.
After much thought, Yang Zi immediately decided to take action.
She drove to the bank of the East River. Then she dumped the suitcase directly into the East River. Seeing the suitcase bubbling and sinking, Yang Zi immediately breathed a sigh of relief and then quickly drove away. She didn't dare to stay by the East River for another minute.
Shortly after Yang Zi left, Zhou Kai and others curiously approached.
"What did she just throw in?" Zhou Kai asked.
"Who knows!" Lu Dapao shook his head and said, "But Brother Chuan is really prescient, knowing that this woman was up to no good. Let's quickly retrieve what she threw in, then we will know what bad things she has done."
"Hmm!" Zhou Kai nodded.
Li Qiang brought a hook, and while placing the hook he said, "This woman is most likely destroying some evidence."
After some busy work, luckily their timely appearance saved the day; otherwise, the undertow beneath the East River might have washed the suitcase away. The hook soon caught on to something odd. Li Qiang hurriedly shouted, "Got it, got it."
"Quick, pull it up!" Zhou Kai and the others excitedly shouted.
Soon, Li Qiang pulled up something. They shone their flashlights through the water weeds. Surprisingly, it was a large black suitcase.
"What's inside?" Zhou Kai curiously asked.
"Pull it up and open it to see," Li Qiang responded.
It took quite some effort for them to finally pull the heavy suitcase out of the water. Zhou Kai laughed, "There must be quite a few things hidden in here."
"I think so too." Lu Dapao wiped the sweat from his forehead and said, "It must be some murder weapons and some other evidence."
Everyone nodded.
Li Qiang hurriedly stepped forward, straining to open the suitcase's zipper. After pulling the zipper and barely opening the suitcase, Li Qiang immediately saw a pale head and a pair of unblinking, dead eyes staring back at him.
Thump...
Li Qiang sat down heavily, screaming, "My goodness!"
"What's going on?" Zhou Kai hurriedly asked.
"There's a ghost, a ghost!" Li Qiang was so scared he nearly lost control of his bowels.
Zhou Kai was momentarily stunned, then quickly opened the zipper further.
Hiss...
Everyone gasped in shock, as inside there was unexpectedly the body of an adult male, curled up, pale and darkened in complexion, with wide-open eyes. Zhou Kai swallowed and said, "A body... it's actually a body!"
"Did Yang Zi dump a body?" Lu Dapao was stunned, saying in shock: "Could it be... could it be that this woman is the murderer?"
"It's possible!" Zhou Kai immediately nodded.
"What... what should we do now?" Lu Dapao was anxious.
"Quickly call Brother Chuan!" Zhou Kai said urgently, "Let Brother Chuan come and decide."
Lu Dapao hurriedly called Lin Chuan. After learning about the situation, Lin Chuan quickly drove to the scene. After examining the body, Lin Chuan made an initial judgement: "Death by severe poisoning, within three hours of his death."
"Who killed him?" Zhou Kai asked urgently.
"It's very likely Yang Zi," Lin Chuan said gravely.
"Hmm!" Zhou Kai nodded.
Zhou Kai hurriedly took several photos of the scene, then asked, "Brother Chuan, what should we do next? Should we call the police?"
"Forget it." Lin Chuan shook his head, saying, "This matter does not concern us; better less trouble than more. Right now, the most important thing is to dispose of this body quickly. Yang Zi's body dumping was too unprofessional. This corpse would probably resurface in a couple of days, and if discovered, that would be a big problem."
Zhou Kai and the others immediately took two bags of cement to the car, poured everything into the suitcase, then zipped it up and sank it into the river. Once the cement hardened over time, if the water level of East River doesn't dry up, no one would ever discover the body sunk at the bottom.
"Brother Chuan, who is the deceased?" Zhou Kai asked.
"I've seen him," Lin Chuan looked at Zhou Kai and said, "He was Liu Shaoqi's driver."
"Ah?" Zhou Kai exclaimed, "Why would Yang Zi kill Liu Shaoqi's driver?"
"There must be many secretive secrets inside," Lin Chuan said, with a mysterious smile curling at the corner of his mouth.
