Evil Dragon Crazy Soldier King

Chapter 1358: Everything Has Changed

Yang Fei nodded and, together with Nuannuan, stealthily approached the Demon Tower.

There were four sentries at the entrance of the Demon Tower, two visible and two hidden.

The entrance was fortified with defensive works, with a heavy machine gun facing the doorway.

Yang Fei and Nuannuan exchanged hand signals and then crawled stealthily towards the tower entrance.

Yang Fei pointed to the far left side of the Demon Tower, signaling that he would handle the two sentries on the left, leaving the right ones for Nuannuan.

Nuannuan nodded; dealing with these four sentries was not a problem for them.

The challenge lay in not making any sound; otherwise, it would alert the other armed defense teams, making rescuing the Old Witch Master silently quite troublesome.

Yang Fei extended three fingers, bending them one by one.

As the last finger bent down, Yang Fei's figure darted forward, leaving behind a trail of fleeting shadows in the air as he dove towards the sentry on the left-side fortification.

The sentry felt a sudden gust of wind but couldn't clearly see Yang Fei's figure before Yang Fei struck his neck with a single palm, causing him to fall silently to the ground.

Yang Fei hooked his body with the tip of his foot, completing the process noiselessly.

The other sentry appeared to be dozing but suddenly awoke alert.

He caught sight of Yang Fei, and was so frightened that his mouth gaped open as he instinctively reached for his gun.

Before he could shout, Yang Fei grasped his throat and snapped his neck with a crack.

At the same time, Nuannuan had dealt with the two sentries on the right.

The two hid the bodies of the four sentries and then swiftly slipped into the Demon Tower.

As Yang Fei and Nuannuan entered the Demon Tower, Gonggong and several others had already begun their action, preparing to deal with the other Witch Kings.

The first target for Gonggong was Ju Mang, the Witch King of the Wood Tribe.

Gonggong had been ambushed by Yang Fei, and Stone Fire had disfigured him, leaving him with severe internal injuries.

Ju Mang, however, was an exceptionally skilled surgeon; this Wood Tribe Witch King had long integrated into modern society and was currently a professor at the Imperial College of Medicine in the United Kingdom.

He has published numerous medical papers and enjoys considerable fame in the Western medical and biological circles.

Who would have thought that this highly respected medical doctor was the Witch King of the Wu Clan's Wood Tribe?

At this moment, Gonggong was seeking medical help from Ju Mang.

Ju Mang was very interested in the injuries Gonggong had sustained.

After all, the Stone Fire was incredibly mysterious; the flames that consumed the Essence Qi of martial artists intrigued Ju Mang greatly.

Thus, after Gonggong accepted Nuannuan's task, Ju Mang was the first person that came to mind.

Who would expect a patient to suddenly attack their doctor?

At that moment, Ju Mang was seriously examining Gonggong's burns.

Gonggong's sole eye flashed as he stole a glance at Ju Mang and then lowered his head again.

Ju Mang, wearing a white coat and donning gold-rimmed glasses, had a gaze that was wise and clear.

He believed Gonggong was frightened and smiled slightly: "Don't worry, Gonggong, your burns have scabbed over and aren't infected."

"However, your face can't return to its original condition. Given your cultivation, muscles will regenerate after a few years, and gradually you'll regain some appearance later on."

Gonggong shook his head: "That's not important; the important thing is that I might disappoint you."

Ju Mang was taken aback, his eyes filled with confusion as he looked at Gonggong.

"What do you mean?"

Bam!

Gonggong suddenly delivered a knee strike, hitting Ju Mang squarely in the abdomen, followed by a palm strike to Ju Mang's Dazhui acupoint.

Simultaneously, a surge of True Martial Qi Energy penetrated Ju Mang's central nervous system.

Roar!

Ju Mang suddenly suffered a critical hit, roaring angrily as he staggered, trying to attack Gonggong.

Gonggong gazed emotionlessly at Ju Mang.

"I'm sorry, the Witch Master ordered me to take you to the Ancestral Altar, so you'll have to endure this."

He said, producing a tranquilizer gun, and fired it with a bang, a miniature syringe with a long needle tip piercing Ju Mang's shoulder.

Ju Mang's body stiffened, feeling as though his shoulder was bitten by an ant, followed quickly by an uncontrollable stiffness spreading rapidly from his shoulder.

The once-abundant True Martial Qi Energy within him seemed to freeze as if by ice; he couldn't mobilize it at all.

At the same time, his vision darkened, and the entire world turned topsy-turvy in front of him, becoming very blurred.

Exhausting his last ounce of strength, Ju Mang fought to maintain his consciousness.

"Why... did you do this? What did you inject me with?"

Gonggong's single eye revealed a sinister malice: "SJ 2510 Gene Potion, specially formulated for Martial Arts Masters, from the core laboratory of the Morgan Family."

"Don't worry, you're not the first to be sedated; when you wake up, you'll find everything has changed."

Ju Mang barely managed to stir a trace of True Martial Qi Energy, roaring as he lunged at Gonggong.

Gonggong sneered, neither dodging nor evading, allowing Ju Mang's palm to strike.

In reality, Ju Mang's entire Essence Qi had already been frozen.

This palm strike, weaker even than a Mingjin Master's attack, hit Gonggong lightly with no power at all.

He staggered forward, falling to the ground, his eyes flipping back, yet still desperately questioning.

"Why?"

Gonggong chuckled wickedly, deeply gazing at Ju Mang.

"There's no why; the true ruler of the Wu Clan has already arisen; I'm merely following the Witch Master's orders."

Ju Mang's voice was incredibly weak, yet he cried hoarsely: "Has the Witch Master returned? That's... impossible, you're deceiving me!"

With that, he suddenly collapsed to the ground, his eyes gradually closing.

Gonggong gazed at Ju Mang lying on the ground, his smile growing even more pronounced.

He spoke softly: "Just get a good sleep; I really envy those who can sleep. Like me, Gonggong, I truly don't know how many earth-shattering events await me."

He said, laughing heartily, immensely proud.

At this moment, a gentle, refreshing voice came from outside the door.

"Congratulations to King Gonggong on an auspicious start."

With this voice, a graceful and fresh woman, as if new bamboo from a mountain, floated in.

If Yang Fei saw her, he would surely widen his eyes; this woman was none other than Yang Fei's old rival, Chen Xingzhu.

Chen Xingzhu touched Ju Mang's breath on the ground gently, praising Gonggong.

"King Gonggong truly is formidable; under your Gene Potion, a True Martial Master truly had no chance to resist."

Gonggong chuckled wickedly: "Of course, the anesthesia produced by the Morgan Family's core laboratory is extraordinary."

"And tonight, we shall rely on this potion to completely seize the Ancestral Altar; within the Wu Clan, I shall be supreme!"

Chen Xingzhu smiled lightly, her white jade-like cheeks perfectly displaying a bit of admiration.

"Naturally, Xingzhu preemptively salutes the new Witch Master!"

Gonggong laughed heartily, his fierce single eye filled with boundless ambition.

"Excellent, once I slay Yang Fei and Nuannuan, unifying the Wu Clan, I will certainly remember your benefits."
