Evil Dragon Crazy Soldier King

Chapter 656: The Coffin

Twenty minutes later, Yang Fei, Mad Blade, and Fan Yi arrived at the kidnapping scene.

Mad Blade turned on the hazard lights and parked the car on the emergency lane.

The three men got out of the car.

Yang Fei glanced at the shattered glass on the ground and the brake marks and frowned deeply.

"Chen Ke's entire car was kidnapped, with three vehicles coordinating the crime."

Mad Blade and Fan Yi, both experts in criminal investigation, also noticed this.

Mad Blade spat and said, "So, what do we do now?"

A sinister smile flashed across Yang Fei's face.

"If they had only kidnapped Chen Ke, it would have been tricky."

"However, her license plate is an extremely obvious sign. Let's follow it."

There were surveillance cameras all over the expressway.

For Yang Fei, accessing these cameras and surveillance footage was quite simple.

Mad Blade drove, chasing straight ahead.

Yang Fei spent a few minutes.

Using his phone as an electronic data terminal, he hacked into the central computer of the Yannan Expressway Traffic Police Management Center.

After coding scrutiny, he soon spotted Chen Ke's Audi Q7.

However, after only forty kilometers,

they could no longer find the license plate of the Audi Q7 in the traffic police's camera database.

Yang Fei asked Mad Blade to stop the car, and he got out to inspect closely.

But this time, no matter what, he couldn't find any trace.

Yang Fei couldn't help but curse under his breath.

"Son of a bitch, they definitely changed the license plate. Now we're in trouble."

He accessed the camera data again and found two suspicious vehicles, directing Mad Blade to follow them.

The two suspicious vehicles were a Maserati and a Bentley.

Both cars had been tailing Chen Ke's Audi Q7 and acted suspiciously.

Mad Blade followed Yang Fei's directions and pursued them.

It was now mid-afternoon and the sun was scorching hot.

Meanwhile, the pursued Audi Q7 turned off the expressway.

The car continued along a secondary road.

After more than ten kilometers, the Audi suddenly turned into an old building materials yard.

The old building materials yard was extremely large, about the size of two football fields.

The warehouses, a jumble of color steel plates, were messily stacked with piles of steel bars and scrap metal.

The Audi stopped.

A burly big man wearing a flat cap carried the unconscious Chen Ke out.

Two burly men, upon seeing the big man, bowed in greeting.

"Brother Hao, you've worked hard. Brother Ying has been waiting for you for a long time."

The burly big man nodded, carrying Chen Ke and walking forward with large strides.

Three or four men followed him.

These men all had robust Qi-Blood and vigorous Essence Qi, clearly Martial Arts Masters.

Brother Hao walked to the most western part of the building materials sales yard, in front of a reinforced concrete house.

He took out a key and unlocked the door, then walked in.

The room was in disarray, with hardly any furniture.

The bed was messy, and the bedding emitted a foul sour smell.

The big man gently dropped Chen Ke's limp body onto the bed.

He instructed the four big men behind him.

"Take turns standing guard, keep an eye on this little lady. Whoever screws up, I'll take his life."

All four big men nodded as the big man turned and left the room.

He seemed to remember something, turned around, and warned the four men again.

"This woman's identity is no ordinary matter."

"We've caught a big fish today. Don't touch her until Brother Ying gives the word."

"Otherwise, if blame comes from above, I can't save you either."

The four big men, though reluctant, agreed unwillingly looking at Brother Hao's stern face.

Brother Hao chuckled.

"This time, we've connected with the Sorcery King. There are plenty of opportunities to get rich."

"Once we have money, what kind of woman can't we find?"

"You guys hold the fort, I'm going to see Brother Ying."

He strode out of the room.

Four martial arts masters, positioned in four directions, guarded the lone brick house.

Brother Hao walked along the huge rectangular color steel tile long shed warehouse, continuing forward.

He reached the easternmost side, in front of a small white office building.

At the entrance of the office building's staircase, two big men in camouflage suits stood ramrod straight.

The eyes of these two were fierce and their builds burly, clearly trained in martial arts.

One of them saw Brother Hao and coldly blocked his way.

He spoke in barely comprehensible Mandarin.

"Who are you? What do you want?"

The pair exuded a chilling, gloomy aura, almost like zombies.

Suddenly, Brother Hao caught sight of the man's face, and instantly felt nauseous, nearly vomiting.

The man's face was pale and translucent, tinged with a faint blue hue.

It seemed like the color of a corpse that had been soaking in water for a long time.

Moreover, Brother Hao smelled an unpleasant scent with his nose.

Upon closer inspection, it was the stench of rotting corpses.

These people were essentially no different from dead bodies.

However, what was strange was

the Qi-Blood within their bodies was incredibly strong, Essence roiling with immense power.

Brother Hao felt a chill down his spine as he looked at the man.

He forced a smile onto his face.

"I'm here to see Brother Ying, isn't he here?"

The man's face showed a hint of realization.

"Oh, you're looking for Fourth Master, he's currently having a meal with the King. Is there something you need?"

Brother Hao was puzzled internally, but he still kept a smile on his face.

"Brother Ying asked me to do something, and I've finished it; I've come to report to him."

The man's expression remained icy cold, showing no emotion at all.

The two zombie-like fellows didn't speak, but they stepped aside.

Brother Hao nodded at them and ascended to the small building.

The entire building reeked of a strong smell of corpse.

The wind blowing through the alley was chilling and eerie.

It seemed as if even the sunlight outside the small building couldn't penetrate here.

The atmosphere was extremely terrifying.

Brother Hao, while suppressing the discomfort in his stomach, reached the middle room on the second floor of the small building.

He knocked on the door, suppressing the strangeness in his voice.

"Brother Ying, I'm back. I've completed the task you assigned to me."

A sinister voice came from inside.

"Is that Brother Hao? Come in and talk."

Brother Hao responded and then pushed open the room door.

The putrid smell suddenly intensified manifold.

As Brother Hao took in the layout of the hall, he nearly turned tail and fled.

There, in the middle of the hall, sat a pitch-black coffin.

Furthermore, the wood of the coffin was rotting, the paint peeled off, it looked as though it had just been dug out of a grave.

Candles were placed under and around the coffin.

Meanwhile, all the windows in the hall were tightly covered with black and yellow talisman paper.

Incense burned, filling the air with smoke.

In front of the altar, four people kneeled in two rows.

All four looked like zombies, cold and creepy, indescribably horrifying.

And Eagle-Beak Old Four was one of these four zombies.

Brother Hao's scalp tingled with cold.

He barely walked up to Eagle-Beak Old Four.

But before he could say anything, Eagle-Beak Old Four coldly said, "Kneel down!"

Brother Hao hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly knelt down.
